Pardon my intrusion, but isn't that exactly what Valve was trying to do earlier and Bethesda was allowing them to not only be a separate entity so to speak,but to be the official dlc site whilst letting them get 30% of the cut to boot? It's all rather hypocritical sounding on their part. Anyway, I just wanted to say that this site and the modders that contribute to it have been a godsend to us gamers over the years and I hope we enjoy many more to come!

In response to post #24731999. Oh I am pretty sure that Valve and Bethesda will do it again once they have a better more fleshed out system it isn't the end of anything. It's just a postponement. Regardless I believe both sides over reacted and pointed fingers unnecessarily because they didn't see through the manipulation that was put on by Valve and Bethesda at first as they tried to tear the community apart.

In response to post #24561874. That is what I'm interested to know as well particularly after reading a Reddit post from a former modder who pulled his mod from Steam Work Shop. He also implied that The Nexus is listed as a curated Workshop and are profiting from Workshop sales. Of course I have no idea if it's true are not since the author has deleted his reddit account but here is a link

I really don't see that as a good thing overall since in the past modders learned to mod to extend , create , fix and add to the content just for the love of the game and possibly to show off their talent and to add it to their resume. I can pretty much guarantee that I will never, ever pay for a player made mod so I apologize in advance to those very talented modders out there but I just don't see this being advantageous to yourselves and to the community at large.
