  1. I have got myself 3dsMax 2014 and i have an issue: before when i was weight painting with 3dsMax 2012 the textures of the mesh i tried to paint were hidden (so that the mesh appeared white) and the weight colors where more visible. it looked like in this example: now in 3dsMax 2014 it looks like in this gif: when weight painting the textures are not hidden and the shaders get turned off is there a way to set it up so that its the way it was in 3dsmax 2012?
  2. I am trying to make a mod/item in CK that replaces my characters face+mouth+eyes but leaves the hair as it is. Replacing the standard biped objects is easy, but replacing the head (30) replaces head and hair... is that possible? and if yes: how? anyone any ideas?
  3. I was wondering if it was possible to write a Mod/Plugin that makes your player character's head look the way the camera is pointing in 3rd person view. Something like HeadTrack Crosshair, just so it is allways tracking the crosshair, not just when pointing at an object. Anyone having any ideas about that? I think it would greatly add to immersion when playing in 3rd person. And it would also work well with the immersive first person view mod. I'm sure there is a way to make this happen.
  4. Hi, I am looking for a way to alter the priority the game uses to choose which enchant effect to show when enchanting a weapon with two enchants. In my case: I have Fire damage and Absorb Life on my Sword. It shows the red Absorb Life effect. I want the game to show the Fire enchant. How can i change this? I tried to find something in the CK, but as i didnt realy know what to look for, so i didnt find anything... Can someone tell me what i have to change? or is there already a mod for this? Changer
  5. Got it ffs it was a scale problem... me sure to scale all bones to 100... (it sometimes gets messed up when using hkxcmd...) even when the bone seems not to matter or not to be animated at all... 100... allways -.-
  6. Hi, i have made myself a new mt_walkforward animation. Since then i have a problem with sprinting. everytime i start sprinting (just in the first 0.2 sec or so) the camera goes up quite a bit and then back into position (that all takes place in one brief moment and is realy annoying). when i remove the new animation sprinting is fine again. I have no other problems with the new animation, everything else works fine. I made the animation with 3ds max 2010 and havok conten tools. Does someone know what i did wrong? dit: ok... new symptom: sometimes when i walk forward the camera rotates 180° so i look my character into the face and the world is upside down (while walking forward) but that is not happening all the time, just sometimes... i dont know when exacly that happens yet
  7. hi, can someone, who knows how the skeleton settings work tell me what i have to change to make my character "hover" 1 foot above the ground? no changes in animations or meshes or whatever... just making the character hover above the ground. is that even possible just through skeleton changes? i tried to change the NPC COM bone and in NifSkope it looked like the seleton rises, but it didnt affect my characters ingame anyone knows, what to do?
  8. Problem solved! i thought about it the wrong way... its not to set the armor to replace the body solution is to set the body to cover the other equipmentslot, so it gets replaced when needed
  9. i know that already, its not what i ment... other then slot 32 the slots do not replace the body mesh... i need a second equipent slot that does that what i want to do: i have two tbbp body meshes, one for the nude body and one for armors with reduced bounce (because of the armor :>) that would be no problem BUT: I use a bra mod, that is on a non replacing item slot so my plan: no armor, no bra -> nude body (standard bounce) no armor, bra equiped -> armorbody (reduced bounce)(included in bra mesh) armor equiped, no bra -> armorbody (reduced bounce)(included in armor mesh) armor equiped, bra equiped -> armor body (reduced bounce)(included in bra and armor mesh, but as it is the same it cant be seen) for that i need two equipment slots that both replace the body mesh
  10. Hi! By default equipmentslot 32 (body) replaces the nude body when equipping an armor on that slot. My question: Is there a way to have that for other equipmentslots/custom armor pieces too? like setting it up for an armorpiece that is on a diffrent equipmentslot or setting it up for a whole equipmentslot. Is there such a possibility to have two equipmentslots that replace the nude body? Some CK settings i dont know about or any other way?
  11. here is how it is: i load an old working savegame -> iona has male animations i install the mod and load that same savegame -> iona has female animations i save the game i remove the mod and load the saved game -> it sais somethings missing blabla -> iona has female animations wtf? edit: ok now i tried it again and this only works if i save right beside iona if i leave honeyside save, remove mod, load and enter again she has male animations.. that means i still have no clue what exacly is wrong
  12. tried that already my clean skyrim folder is still v1.7 and some corrupted saves are also 1.7... now another thing i found out: after i found a NPC that the mods worked on (iona in riften - she normaly has the male animations) and saved that game, i deactivated the mods and iona still had the female animation pattern. so it seems the pattern to use by each individual NPC is for some reason stored in my savegames... is that intended? is there a way to fix that?

  14. first: im sorry for the mistakes, but english is not my first language earlyer today i happened to notice that some of the female NPCs used male animations. so i looked for mods, that would fix that and found some. i installed them and nothing happend... still the same male animations, so i tried like 10 mods for that including self made ones (NPC Editor) i deactivated all my mods (exept the anim changer ones ^^) - no effect i removed everything from my skyrim folder (meshes/textures... even SKSE) execpt custom female animations and those mods - no effect i unzipped my clean backup skyrim folder, copied the animations and the mod into it - no effect then i tried loading a older savegame and voilá... it works next i try my normal skyrim folder with every mod and all meshes etc... works fine when i load a recent savegame i get the male animations again so my problem: my latest savegames seem to block those animation changer mods. my PC animations are fine, all the other mods i have work fine its just that thing.. simplest solution would be just switching to the older savegames... but the working ones are at level 79 -.- thats quite a while ago and i dont know which quests i did since then can someone think of another way to fix that? like fixing the savegame itself (maybe there are some messed up settings?) and if there is no way to fix the savegame itself... is there a way to readout my character- and questinformation from that savegame (i can load it with no problem... its just that one bug) and then putting it into the savegame that works?
