  1. That was actually a problem long time gone when I first tryed TR. Back then I tryed the Mod on its own with my german version of MW. Did not work at all. Now I play with OpenMW, and overall TR works. I would also think the problem is somewhere between my german version of MW and TR. Thing is, it should happen all the time then, but it only happens in a couple of cells and as far as I noticed only in Wolverine Hall on the base content of MW. I got that crash more often with content of TR like in Old Ebonheart. That contradicts the potential problem with the german version of MW, because there should not be a problem if OpenMW loads a cell of TR (my explanation here is kinda confusing I have to admit). Also content of the basegame, basically all of Vvardenfell and Solstheim, is shown in German. As soon as I go to the mainland, the greetings are still in German, but every other "new" dialog is in English. So OpenMW sorts that somewhat right. Only that specific few locations are crashing for no reconstructable reason. Edit: The crash also happens if I deactivate all mods and onky playing vanilla OpenMW. Edit2: Ok, at least I could solve the laggs, it was the loadorder in the .ini. Now it runs smove again. Interesting sidenote on that point: As I had those lags (arround 5 fps on average), I had no crash in Old Ebonheart, but still in Wolverine Hall *facepalm*
  2. So I will just push this topic of mine. I can run OpenMW with Tamriel Rebuilt very well now, without lags (at least without lags I can noticewhile playing). I also played a bit on the mainland - it looks very good btw - and did some quests. But I have a problem, that gets somewhat gamebreaking now. I already explained the crash I have in Old Ebonheart alway in the same area (cell) without any reasonable explanation I can come up with. I just avoided going there, thinking it is a problem with TR. I coul have went with that... Short afterwards I started the Mage Guild. And I had the same unreasonable crash if I enter the Sadrith Mora Guildhall. It does not matter if I come from the castle entrance or via teleport, it always crashes the exact time I enter. Now I d not know if that is a known bug and I did not have a big problem with not going to Old Ebonheart or Sadrith Mora Guild. But now I have to enter Sadrith Mora for quests and that is no fun. I tryed to google, but the most resent thing I could find was kinda same problem but the bugreport is more than 2 years old and was with a much older version of OpenMW. I also tryed to cut out TR, but with vanilla OpenMW the bug is still there without any change. This is my Warnings txt: Changing to interior Loading cell Ald'ruhn, Magiergilde Unhandled controller NiPathController on node 90 in meshes/e/magic_cast_myst.nif Playing music/explore/morrowind title.mp3 Changing to interior Unloading cell Loading cell Sadrith Mora, Wolfenhalle: Magiergilde warning UleniDead line 4, column 27 ("Gateway_haunt") stray string argument (ignoring it) Edit: And now, after trying arround by deactivating and activating the several mods to locate the problem of the crashes, I have the lags again after getting obvious warnings. Why exactly is that stuff so brutally unstable?
  3. Update: So I played a bit through TR. I traveled from Ildrim to Old Ebonheart by walking. No problems or crashes alle the way to Vuhl and Old Ebonheart. In Ebonheart I even could visit the tower coming from the south. But as soon as I try to walk through the city coming from south to north, to the docks, the game crashes in the same area as if I am coming from the docks. The warning.txt does not say anything new, so I have no idea what the problem could be. Also all the way coming from Ildrim, the fps was mostly 150+ even with a lot of objects (trees, plants, etc). In Ebeonheart it was arround 60 in the tower and upper district (place at the bridge leading to the tower). The fps drops down to 30 and less as I walk in the direction of the docks and midway the game just crashes. I can only assume there is something in that particular cell that crashes the game. But I have absolutely no idea what. Also yesterday as I "got the whole thing to work", I installed also the Morrowind optimization patch.
  4. Hey, so after a lot of struggle I got Tamriel Rebuilt to work - even with a mostly decent FPS. Had problems with that as soon as I got to somewhat crowded places, even Balmora cut the FPS down to 20-30. In places like Old Ebonheart it could not even reach 10 anymore. I solved that problem by reading a lot and trying various settintgs... I disabled V-Sync and now I get 100+ in Balmora etc. and arround 25 in Old Ebonheart. Basically fine playable by my standards, so I am happy with that. But I can't get really far in Old Ebonheart (that was the only place I tryed that the last hours since that error occured the first time after fixing fps). I can walk arround the docks and a bit into the city itself, but at some point the game simply crashes back to desktop. i tryed that a few times and it crashes always in the same place - so there is no random crashing involved as far as I think. Thing is, before that, the game crashed eventually "chocking" on the fps arround 1-2, freezing after several seconds (that was not limited to Old Ebonheart, but basically everywhere, where I got that low fps) now the fps in Old Ebonheart ist stable arround 25 right up to the crash. The warnings says the following: Texture "Textures\_land_default.tga" count 3. Texture "Textures\menu_thick_border_bottom_right_corner.dds" count 2. A while ago I had errors with missing meshes, I normally can make some sence out of the warning.txt, but this warning I really have no idea.
  5. Success! Tamriel Rebuilt works now. Don't ask, I have no idea what I did different this time. After 2 hours of trying to get the game installed without freezing or errors I installed the mod and now it just works. There is just one tiny problem I have and the thing is, that same problem occured a couple of days ago when I tryed to get the thing work with the old installation of the my basegame. I'll try to give an accurate explanation, so perhaps there is a potential solution: Last week as I tryed to get the mod work, I had a very old installation of my Morrowind. It runs on a general powerful PC and I never had problems with anything the last 4 years. As I installed TR last week, the mod came with the described yellow exclamation marks. But it ran smoothly with them. Now as I tryed to enter Old Ebonheart, there was first no problem, but after a few seconds in - me walking arround - the game became ultra laggy. A couple more seconds in, the game crashed. Since then, my Morrowind was somewhat laggy. No smooth camera movement, all I do has some tiny delay. And that problem stood with me even with a clear installation of the whole game and mod alltogether. I played arround with the settings a bit, but that does not change anything. The lags also are not really tied to areas with more objects or outdoor/indoor cells. They appear with no real pattern I can describe or notice. Those lags are not exactly gamebreaking, but they take away a good junk of joy I would have otherwhise.
  6. Ok, so I tryed to get a clear re-installation of Morrowind. But actually getting Morrowind itself "normally" deinstalled was somewhat a impossible task. I could not go with the deinstall.exe from my CD so I went with the deinstall of the PC (programms and functions, where I have the option to list every programm on the harddrive and deinstall it there completely, dont know what that is named on english systems). I made a mistake somwhere on that way, because now I can not reinstall Morrowind, because the setup just freezes for a couple of seconds and then closes itself with the message "everything finished" whereas nothing really happened. Morrowind is not there. If I start the autorun of the disc, it say i can play the base game Morrowind. If I click the whole thing closes and nothing else happens. So then I rememebered my Anthologyversion I bought a couple of years ago. I tryed to install Morrowind from the discs. The setup asks if I am sure I want to remove everything related to the programm - despite I clicked on setup/install and not on deinstall. I click "ok and yes". The setup does something, closes after a few seconds and shows me basically the same message I described abov. So I cant see Morrowind anywhere on the computer and I can not reinstall it from two different disc-sources... very nice. It is very sad, that this mod just wont work for me. Not last year as I even tryed to fix the problem between the english mod and my german GotY. And this time the whole thing itself including a simple reinstallation of the game wont work either. Can't blame the mod, nor the team behind it, but its very frustrating... oh well, se ya all perhaps in 12 months when I have the energy again to get this thing to work -_- Edit: Ok, I got the install-setup of my GotY to just do what it should... meybe this time it works... Edit2: The normal GotY works again. Now lets try to get TR to run again.
  7. So in the original game I do not have that problem because I can't play TR with my original game. I have to play with OpenMW. And right in Seyda Neen with the first NPC at the Docs this problem occures with missing meshes. The consoles says: Content file: TR_Travels.esp RefNum: 2 RefID: tr_m0_sentius_veros Cell: Seyda Neen Grid: -2 -9 Coordinates: -9224.24 -72671 92.263 Model: meshes\base_anim.nif Script: TR_v_CharGenEnable Some parts of the NPC are shown as normal, vanilla armor parts for example. But then the face and the chest is missing completely. I tryed to get a screenshot, but if I press the key, nothing happens... nothing seems easy here -_- If I travel to Old Ebonheart for example, al the "vanilla" objects are there and correctly placed. But within between there are a lot of big yellow exclamation marks that show some mssing meshes
  8. Hey, so I actually tryed to get the whole TR mod to work about a year ago. The identified problem back then was I did not have the English version of the game. meaning my GotY was german and I tryed to run the english based mod on that. Did not work, I lost it and did not have anymore time to try it. Now i am here again. The Mod itself works with OpenMW (funny enough it uses the german localization in the original game areas and english in the mod). The game runs and I can travel to the mainland. There is just one problem on the mainland: Some textures - mostly NPC - are missing and replaced with big yellow exclamation marcs. I miss something, but I have no idea what. I have registered all the archives, otherwhise the mod would not work at all -_- Please help.
  9. But the names themselves are the "same" in the code as there are only english named data in the construction set. Besides that, OpenMW is downloadable full independent from my original version, meaning I can download the full game within OpenMW, so that at least can not be a problem with TR.
  10. [Game Files] GameFile0=Bloodmoon.esm GameFile1=Morrowind.esm GameFile2=Tamriel_Data.esm GameFile3=Tribunal.esm GameFile4=TR_Mainland.esm GameFile5=TR_Mainland_1709_hotfix5.esp
  11. I do not have any other mods but Tamriel rebuilt. "Warnings.txt". Cell "Vivec, Guild of Mages" not found for dialogue type Greeting Info "EMPTY" Expression Error Unable to find cell id "Mournhold" in script T_ScGlobal_LoopTR. Was everything in the Warningsfile (explanation was in german and simply says there is something missing...)
  12. Yep, I have all of those registered and now also the (I think) right data files... now I get a s#*! ton of other errors during the loading screen. Basically everything is missing some sort of file, data, cell or else.
  13. Hmm, just tryed to use that hotfix. but I can not activate it in the launcher. It says the datafiles of Morrowind are missing the TR_Mainland.bsa (hope I got that right). But there was no such .bsa in any download to begin with. Normally I know how to install mods but here I get stuck again and again -_-
  14. Hello, after yesterdays installing of Tamriel Rebirth (first time), I wanted to try it now. The game starts normally without problems. But as soon as I want to load a save or create a new character it says the following during the loading screen: Expression error Unable to find dialogue topic/journal "alit hide" in script T_ScGlobal_AddAnimalProdTopsTR. The game simply crashes if I click continue with the following message: (basically same like abov) but now with: unable to find cell id "Mournhold" After that it crashes back to desctop. I have the german goty of Morrowind. If thats the problem I mey run it with OpenMW? Thanks for help.
