About Kaillys

  1. I found a mod I really like, but it's only a Steam Workshop mod. I heard there's a way to convert them if you have a steam copy of Skyrim, which I don't. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=139974053 This is the mod. Can somebody convert this to the nexus somehow? Go buy the game. Banned - TVD,
  2. I thought the Morag Tong armor that came with Dragonborn was a little lacking. The armor itself is okay, but the hood is kind of silly. I like the wrap around the mouth and the goggles, but the shell helmet is too big and weird. My favorite armor in the entire game is the Shrouded Robes so I was wondering if someone could take the hood off the Shrouded Robes and make it so under the hood is the goggles and wrap from the Morag Tong Hood. As a bonus it would be better to make the rest of the armor match the hood or vice versa. There is also a mod I use that makes the Morag Tong armor black and red so you could make it match that. This is the mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31444 So you could ask his permission and make them go together with that mask and such.
  3. So I spent a while working on this mod (I won't go into details) and finally finished. I saved it properly i'm sure and now I can't find it. It's not in the data folder which is where it saved and it doesn't show up on the mod list in the menu. I typed it in the search bar and it came up, but the computer can't find it for some reason. It does exist and I can load it in the Creation Kit, but it just can't be found. Can anyone help, because this is about the fourth time this has happened.
  4. I don't know about anyone else, but I was a little disappointed by the Morag Tong armor they added in Dragonborn. It's not that it looked bad or anything, but it was basically darker Chitin armor they added in the same DLC. It seems just a little bit lazy. I think that the armor could use some small improvements. The over all look is good, but I feel it needs to look more like the Dark Brotherhood armor. If someone could change the hood of the Morag Ting armor to closer resemble the Shrouded Hood that would probably make it a lot more assassin like (hoods fix everything). I was thinking that it should keep the face mask though. The hood is made of a face mask wrapped around the face with goggles and a chitin helmet. I say remove the helmet and change it to the Shrouded Hood while keeping the face mask and goggles. That way not only does it look a little more unique, but it gets rid of the somewhat lame helmet and replaces it with an assassin like hood for an assassin guild. Obviously the hood would have to be changed to match the armor. I also think that there should be a Morag Tong seal (if you don't know it look up Morag Tong on UESP and it is the picture of the article) somewhere on the armor like the shoulder or maybe back. If someone really wanted to go the extra mile you could try and make unique weapons for them too. I have no ideas for that one maybe just a reskin, but it might be kind of cool.
  5. Rather than have the sun blocked out temporarily by the Bloodcursed arrows I have a better system that isn't a pain in the ass. It should be that when you fire a Bloodcursed arrow at the sun, it gets blocked out permanently until you fire a Sunhallowed arrow at the sun, removing the effect. That way there is no time limit on the blocking out the sun, but you can go back to normal if you want. If you are going to try it please let me know how long it might take because I am eager to see this work.
  6. I did the vampire side to the Dawnguard quests so I have the Elder Scrolls stuck in my inventory, but I figured out a way to get rid of them. I'm using the console command player.drop to drop the scrolls even though they are quest items. It worked for Blood and Dragon, but Sun is glitching. When I type the command to drop Sun it enters, but doesn't work. I tried adding it to my inventory, but it added Dragon. So now I have two codes that work for Dragon, but neither works for Sun. Can someone confirm the ID for Sun and tell me how to fix this. Elder Scroll (Sun) ID: xx0126dc xx is a variable, but mine is 03.
  7. In Fallout New Vegas your followers kills give you experience. In Skyrim your followers kill the enemy and you get nothing from it. I want a link to or for soemone to make a mod that gives you the experience from your followers kills. Whether it levels up the skill like you had used it or it gives you experience as if you had increased a skill, it doesn't matter. Preferably the level up as if you had used a skill.
  8. I understand nobody has access to the voice actors so I'm not asking anyone to go record anything with them in it, but I was sad when my favorite characters died and I have an idea for a mod to bring them back. I don't know much about modding, but I have what I think is a simple plan to keep these characters alive. First remove their dead bodies from the mission where you find everyone dead in the sanctuary. Second, make it so when you become listener and have the 2 Dark Brotherhood initiates, these characters are still there as followers. They could just have their default lines and nothing will have changed. As for lines for wait here and open inventory you could probably take lines from other characters seeing as the game only has 9 voice actors. Two of the members I would like alive are Gabriella and Festus. Any others are up to you, but Astrid and her husband should stay dead. If you decide to do this then please give me a time estimate. Thank you to anyone who helps. Fun Fact: Festus is Latin for happy. Ironic.
  9. So I have been playing Fallout New Vegas a lot recently. It's an amazing game with so much choice and freedom in it. Skyrim is also amazing, but what it lacks is a true sense of role playing. Sure you can pretend that your character is not the legendary Dragonborn who was at Helgen every time, but I think mods are an excellent way to fix that. I found a mod that adds a very useful aspect to Skyrim linked bellow. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9557 This is by far the greatest mod yet. It allows you to start the game from different locations and be who you want to be. You can be a vampire in a den, a new member of a guild, a soldier in the army. This mod is great, but I want someone (as I am not a modder) to make a mod to increase the freedom in Skyrim even more along with the realism. My character hates the empire (for back story reasons) and tries to kill them whenever he can. I find it ridiculous that I can kill hundreds of Imperial soldiers, but nobody ever cares. The first part of this is that I think someone should make a mod to add a Faction system to the game similar to that of New Vegas. When I kill an Imperial I want the empire to strike back (I know great wording) and same goes for every guild not just the holds. I also think that money is too easy for some factions. The Thieves Guild would probably take money and overlook anything you've done to them, but for things like the legion you should have to complete a somewhat difficult quest to be forgiven. If you don't want to be forgiven, but you want a faction to temporarily get of your case then you should have to dress as one of their members. If I'm hated by the Stormcloaks, but I want to go to Windhelm then I should be able to put on the Stormcloak armor and helmet and become undetectable. This would make the game a lot more interactive and give you a reason not to go bat crazy and kill everyone in sight. The second part of this mod, as you may have guessed is a Karma System. I don't think it should be called that as that would just make it the same as Fallout. Maybe Reputation or Honor? I'll let the person who creates this decide (if anyone). You should get negative karma for anything that counts as a crime already whether someone sees it or not. Minor things like stealing should just be one or two negative karma, but assault should be more like ten and murder fifty (including Dark Brotherhood contracts). You should gain karma for completing certain quests. The kind of quests that are just nice deeds like recovering Amrens family sword or delivering Balgruufs sword for the blacksmith. You should also get one positive karma for killing monsters, by which I mean actual monsters not just dangerous wildlife. Things like Draugr, Trolls, Witches, Necromancers, and Bandits (even though they aren't monsters they are a danger to the people). Killing boss like monsters such as Dragon Priests or Wisp Mothers should be ten positive karma. Dragons should not give you any karma seeing as they come out of nowhere and are ridiculously hard to run from. Killing Alduin should give you 1000 positive karma. If the system were to work like Fallout that would mean the scale would go from positive one thousand to negative one thousand so that way even if you're the baddest person to ever live at least people forgive you enough to stop hating you (after all you did just save the entire world). Any additions to the idea are welcome as long as it doesn't make it cheap or easy. Lastly please don't start posting hate comments because it seems rather redundant. If you don't like the idea then leave you don;t have to let everyone know how bad you think it is seeing as a) if you don't like the mod don't download it and b) nobody cares. I really hope someone can do this so let me know. Ps. I have some possible names for the Karma mod - True Justice - Fame and Infamy (also a good idea for the positive and negative sides)
  10. Thank you. I will try this BOSS thing and if you come back to this forum could you tell me where the textures are supposed to go and what file the textures are?
  11. To start i am not accepting the answer don't use the mod and i'm not using the mod manager. The specific mod I'm trying to get to work right now is The Dance Of Death. It adds a power that opens a menu to change the frequency of kill animations. It appears on the list and is turned on, but when I start the game it does the Bethesda intro then I see the Skyrim logo for a split second before the game shuts down. I am assuming that i am not the only on having this problem. This also happens with Cloaks Of Skyrim and Killable And Lootable Children. Ps. If anyone uses the mod Black Hand Robes I am having trouble with that to. It loads fine and doesn't crash the game, but the hood, gloves and boots appear as pure white and glowing blue and the robe doesn't appear at all. If anyone knows what's wrong please help. Thank you in advance to anyone who can offer useful advice. Your faithful Listener, Kaillys (haill Sithis, my brothers!).
  12. It came with just two files in no folders.
  13. Yes I did that already. The mod itself would appear to be the problem. It loads and it's there, but it just makes me invisible instead of actually showing the robes.
  14. This is my first time doing this and I have gotten it to work correctly. I installed the mod and it works fine, but the problem is that the robes are invisible and the hood is just glowing white. Does anybody else know why?
