  1. hello there, I would like to make an overhaul change. e.g. increase all loot/armor/weapon value by % whilst decreasing all misc value by %. Needless to say I am using a huge mod list and doing that manually it's a killer. Any ideas how can I do this? I am proficient in Excel. I could perform this task immediately in XL or other worsksheet/XML editor. Getting the Armor and Weapon List export/import it's actually the challenge. thanks, hdd
  2. for anyone out there: I've stumble upon an amazing tool which for some reason remains obscure: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33768 It allows you to export an esp to XML. All from there is history. Not exactly what I was looking for, but definitely a huge step forward. It's relatively new (first version 2020), probably this is why. Anyhow - problem (kind of) solved. Would have been more useful to have it directly exported to XLS or any other major database format, but XML will do just fine.
  3. Hello there, any good tutorials on how to export / import full list of effects and conditions? I am working well with other record entries but, as you know, you can have a variable number of effects and conditions. Exporting and importing them it's a pain. Looking forward to your replies. Kind Regards, hdd
  4. hello there, I'm trying to export/import a large recipe list using excel. After a couple of weeks, I've managed to import/export something, but not all. I'm using SSEEdit 4.0.3 and AT QuikcChange 2.5, AT QuickDisplay 1.5 A) modifying ALCH\Effects\Effect #0\EFIT\Magnitude through imports works just fine, but ALCH\Effects\Effect #0\EFIT\Duration it seems like I'm shooting blanks. Whatever I do, I can't modify it in bulk, via script. I don't get it. B) I can't seem to be able to inject new effects into the database using a script. That would be very useful, as the database currently sleeps nicely in xls. e.g., an ingestible has 1 effect, but I would like to update the record and end up with 3 effects. I can update the first effect, but I can't add more or update the second, third etc. thanks +++ Workaround/TLDR: The entire purpose is to re-define the recipes list (food, breakdown items etc.) Now, this is tedious to do in SSEEdit. My list is a bit shy of 1000 items. That, combines with the multiple recipes, value and weight overview plus the game testing and balancing - it takes too long. My programming days are behind me, but I'm proficient in excel. So, I've built my list in excel (well, a working template) and before proceeding to complete editing, I'm trying to make sure I will be able to import my list in SSEEdit. And it's not working. I still can't believe that after 8 years, billions of mod downloads, dozen of thousands of mods and so many talented people, a functional XLS import/export method is still not avaialble. Looking forward to your answer.
  5. hello there, I have a sin: I'm a hoarder. And I like to get every goblet, plate and small item there is and smelt it later. Where can I find a mod which highlights everything so I know I picked up everything? Something like in FO4. p.s.: I'm already playing LivingSkyrim 2.0 mod list Thanks hdd
  6. try wabbajack appplication and LivingSkyrim mod list it's comprehensive
  7. So, for all the others like me there: I wonder why no one's mentioning Wabbajack! This is actually what I was looking for. It's an automated method to replicate one's mod setup and it can be done in a fraction of a time. So, please allow me to explain myself a bit. I'm in my mid 40s. Time is not just money, but also time is family. I do enjoy the games and yes, I am capable to invest my passion and time to follow such a lengthy process. I am still reasonable skilled in programming, but I do something else for a living nowadays. But today I choose to play less and spend more of my time on other subjects, that is family & money. Back in the days (90's/00's), I was a modder here and there, nothing major. I enjoy the power feeling, the rush you have when you try a new mod. And I can't just choose a console. Things on PC are way too beautiful and configurable. But again, I simply can't spend that much time doing this. If things go well, the game won't crash and I'll be able to play for a few days, I will support both Wabbajack and the chosen mod creators. I think that's only fair. I've already lost a week-end + 2 days just to update myself (after 4 years) with Skyrim modding. That's too much for me. Not a trigger-happy boy, but I guess 6-8h to setup a game should be reasonable. Life is short. Then I can spend about 10-15h/week every couple of months to play a game. And I need this... escape from reality. I do a high pressure/high reward every day job, where nerves of steel and infinite patience is required (no, it's not Amazon customer service LOL) and a pressure valve keeps me away from going postal. But that's enough. Skyrim has become such a convoluted collection of mods. A victim of it's own success. And for unreasonable people like me, who just want another mod and another mod and another mod, you can't just relax and play near-vanilla experience when something better's out there. I know, my psychological burden. But I guess we're many like this. @Shabdez: thank you so much for mentiong https://lexyslotd.com/ I've started there and in a couple of h I was able to get to wabbajack and run the game. For some reason, Google is not replying well when searching Skyrim SE mod lists. I guess there are nor money or politics involved :ermm: . Anyway, enough ranting. For all the others like me: Please check this Wabbajack I've found and live the rest of your life. Kind Regards, hdd
  8. @Shabdez Wow! thank you! This is precisely what I was looking for. Meanwhile, I've discovered another resource: Juanton's Skyrim Special Edition Mod List (2019) While inspirational, it's not up to date and therefore at least unreliable if not permanently broken. It's hard to see that after all that hard work, you can no longer launch the game. Thanks again
  9. Hello there, I'm coming back to Skyrim PC (SE) after a very long break. I was playing Skyrim since it's initial release, 2011. Even then, modding was complicated but now, I've literally spent my entire week-end trying to get a hold of mod list. No success. I am still not satisfied with my mod list. The list of options and choices seems endless. Then you must apply patch after patch after patch, but hey! no more, since the original release has already fixed those patches... Pfff.... Can you please help me with a FULL mod list, dependencies explained and such? I am willing to follow a lengthy install procedure, as long as someone else has already tested and solved these compatibility issues and i know that in the end I have a highly enhanced experience. Nude/adult modes highly appreciated. Looking forward to your replies. Kind Regards, hdd
