  1. I'm about to lose my f***ing mind... Okay so...I've been trying to install Oblivion properly for over two years now, and almost every single time I failed no matter how many times I referred to other technical ties. I have used Nexus Mod Manager, Wyre Bash, and OBMM. Nexus is usually what I used, but no matter how many times I've tried Character Overhaul 2 would just not work properly even when I had Blockhead installed first. Any time I deleted a mod it crashes on startup. At first Wyre Bash was working wonderfully until I installed a mod which completely f*#@ed up the camera angle. Even when I deleted the mod the effect was still there. I tried using OBMM only to get the same result of Nexus Mod Manager, wherein it kept crashing even when I only had OBSE installed. My most recent attempt was using Nexus Mod Manager and downloading the mods at the end of the sewers. With Nexus it worked, only for me to see that Character Overhaul 2 wasn't working because it said Blockhead needed to be installed even thought it said on Nexus it was. So I deactivated those two mods, and tried again...only for the game to crash on startup again. This has to been the fifteenth or twentieth time now. IS A MOD COMPATABLE GAME REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK?!!?!? This has to been the twelfth time, and I'm ready to post a rage-filled review saying that releasing Oblivion on steam was a mistake. I'm ready to go insane.
  2. Okay, I did as you asked, and played the vanilla version of Oblivion until I got to the end of the sewers. Then I installed the mods on Oblivion Mod manager. Once again, the game crashes before it can even begin. This is the eleventh time I've tried to mod it using Oblivion Mod Manager. When I took a look at the data files, I noticed that it said the Unofficial Oblivion Patch was an "invalid file" along with "citadel door fix". Can someone please try to help? Why isn't Oblivion Mod Manager working with me!?!?
  3. I am unsure if this is a common thing that happens among the skyrim community, but this is a most unusual predicament that has happened to me. It all began after I installed the Skyrim Creation Club program and based it in the Skyrim SE folder located within Steamapps. All of my current save are corrupted, and say they cannot be loaded. Stranger still, text comes onto the screen saying my Dragonborn has learned all three shouts to the "Drain Vitality" shout all over again, along with other text in the upper left corner such as "EBT loading", "Setting up Closing time", "Assault has begin!", and others. I wonder if this is a side effect of installing the Skyrim Creation Club or not. I have verified the game cache time and again, and steam says, "All files successfully validated." On the main menu screen of Skyrim SE, there is not text nor image that says "save corrupt". If I recall correctly, I've had this problem before, and the only way to solve it was to load an earlier save. Unfortunately for me, ALL of my saves are corrupted. I've read somewhere that this may have something to do with the Dawnguard, so I am going to assume that things like this have a tendency to glitch by themselves. Can anyone help?

  6. Okay, so here's the problem. I have tried everything to Mod Oblivion correctly and nothing has worked thus far. At first, I attempted to use Nexus Mod Manager. But every time I attempted to open Oblivion, it immediately crashed. Then I started using Wrye Bash, even though it was a pain to get up and running as I use the steam version of Oblivion. But then I attempted to use the Deadly Reflex mod, and a camera bug came into play wherein the npcs and my own character appeared to be much smaller. I tried to root out the problem as much as I could, but it only worked when I completely uninstalled Oblivion and deleted all of its files. Now, I'm attempting to use Oblivion Mod Manager, which seems to be the simplest solution. But now I am having the same problem as I am having when using Nexus Mod Manager, the game keep crashing on start. So I tried only installing a limited number of mods, including The Unofficial Oblivion Patches, the 12146 Patch, enginebugfixes, OBSE, OBGE, and that's it. Then again, I probably don't need the 12146 patch, as the steam version are already up to date. Will doing so help? Whenever I pull up the launcher menu, there are three invalid esm files where they should be, including the citadel door fix, the oblivion patch, and vampire aging. As of now, I have had the misery of uninstalling Oblivion seven times and will about to do so an eighth. Now Oblivion freezes whenever I just install the Oblivion patch and the shivering Isles patch. This never happened with Wrye Bash!! what the f*** is happening?

  9. So, I tried using Nexus Mod Manager, but whenever I install a certain number of mods, the game immediatley crashes on startup. I tried using Wyre Bash, but the process to install it is a *censored*, and when I tried installing a mod called deadly reflex, I kept having a camera bug which no matter how deep I dug, could not root out the source until I deleted all files of Oblivion entirely. And as of thus far, there are mods that require Wyre Bash to work properly. Not to mention I am having quite a hard time trying to use Oblivion Mod Manager despite people saying its the best one. I'm exhausted because I've had to restart my game four times already and i'm wondering if using a mod manager is worth the trouble or if I should just install everything manually bit by bit. Can anyone please help me? I'm at my breaking point. Edit: Now I've had to reinstall it a sixth time. God f*#@ing dammit.
  10. I tried installing a mod or two, and now all the npcs are too small. The size of my own character is too large. I've solved this before by uninstalling and reinstalling oblivion entirely but I'm too far into the game to do so again. I don't know which mod is corrupting my game. I think it's Deadly Reflexes but I don't know how to uninstall the mod manually. Help! Update: It's a camera bug that happens when I install deadly reflex. I tried to uninstall it but the bug is still there. I'm panicking. I don't know what to do. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall and delete all my data to solve it and lose all my progress!
  11. First off, I cannot find the hitchhiker's guide, second, the link doesnt work!
  12. Every time I try to click on it, it just says MGE has stopped working.
  13. Or perhaps the Dragonborn and the Ebony warrior end up giving each other a good death. Both of them, their final quest, sending them both to Sovgarde as equals.
