Just had to go through hell and back because Google think it's funny to issue super small images with lots of film grain where the "car" is potentially anything. The sound challenges are disgusting as well. Please get rid of this abomination; I don't want to spend five minutes just trying to get in every time.

Just the kind of cancer we needed on this site. EDIT: That new captcha never works on first try, as stated above. The old captchas could be annoying at times but this one is an absolute nightmare. It's a pure waste of time and feeds that monstrosity of an enterprise named Google with even more information.

Hello there, I've been trying to create a new pose doll but I have to remove the whole armature of every piece I import. Most of it has worked right but there are two scene roots who are left. I think those will be trouble if I do not get them removed but I cannot seem to unparent anything right now and no matter what I do, I remove the whole mesh with the scene root. Does anyoneone know how to get rid of this? EDIT: Nevermind, I failed epicly. Cheers Nighthawk

So, there are some mods I used but I don't know how much they will impact your performance: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/49396/? New Vegas Save Cleaner, it removes reference IDs (litter lying around). It mostly puts items back in the starting positions. I don't know if it erases items of your collection. It did not for me. On my last run, it deleted ~5500 of those without me noticing bad effects (it also closes doors you opened so that the game does not have to save that too). http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/37573/? I also use this even though I am not a big user of energy weapons. Basically, it makes ash and goo piles vanish after some time (not the quest ones of course) so that you don't have them staying permanently and bloating your save. Finally, I downloaded a 100% savegame someone made and tested my mods from there. With some simple commands, I changed my character back to what mine looked like. I have a fully modded game lag free now even though the 100% save is 15mb instead of my 12mb. I have decent FPS and I don't even know why. I did not litter anything on my recent playthroughs and it started lagging like hell nontheless.

Hi fetchfox, thank you for your answer. I am still checking out this video but I don't think it will really improve my performance greatly. As I said it works like a charm with early saves but I think at around 10-12mb saves, the fun begins and you can seem to forget normal gameplay. Maybe there is a way from stopping the game to increase save size too fast or change it afterwards. I have tons of weapon and armour mods installed, also Project Nevada. Maybe all those items that are added kill performance :(
