  1. Vanilla skeleton but a BnB Body = Your chest will stretch to the stars in game cause the bones have nowhere to go. BnB skeleton but you're using Type3A = No bouncing boobs as the bones for the body are missing. Simply, you cant just pair any body with the BnB skeleton, it doesn't work that way. Unless the body type states it has BnB it won't give you the desired effect.
  2. Marksman rifle in 5.56mm might be able to compete with the repeater though rarer. Felt like reviving the thread since I'm hoping for at least ONE service rifle fan to roll in.
  3. Nice update, though in my experience so far. Scrolling on my about me is choppy until I hit the activity section below as well as on the media/mods sections, the font is pretty huge too as i'm using 1920x1080 resolution.
  4. Something else I realized with the Tribal Garb, the normal map is wastelandclothing01 for women when there is a normal in the files for it.
  5. Welcome to the Nexus! Awesome to hear of your previous experience, I'm sure you'll make some great mods.
  6. Welcome! have fun modding.
  7. Exactly since you're replacing the whole character model, not just the clothes. Future technology (post 2015) has that morphing body/segmented armor pieces, skyrim dabbled in it
  8. I feel like it's incredibly hard to explain simply. Cause when you have like the prostitute outfit you assume oh, when i take that off then the exact same nude body is there but it ain't, it's almost 100 copies of the same body but just with a different outfit on top. Are you saying my boobies are SMALL!?! I feel insulted!
  9. There is a few conflicts too, like sad how I can't have diagonal movement and BnB to my knowlegde. There's probably a discussion about this on the Diagonal Movement mod page for fixes but that's exactly it, it requires a lil more depth understanding of skeletons. Personally, I don't mind being without BnB but it is the OP's choice hehe. Always check the requirements before downloading anything!
  10. All depends on what is included in the files as it's uneven across the board, in some cases you will need BnB & this skeleton, again most if not all have the same skin texture. Here's a small list of options to choose from for FNV as of January 2024, Type3 & Type3M seem to have everything you need Type3BG (BnB required) has everything you need including DLC too Type3F just a nude body, some custom outfits but no vanilla Type3K just a nude body, no outfits avaliable (WIP) Type4 includes everything you need, even support for some mod expansions like Frontier/New California Type6M is missing the body skin texture and DLC outfits so you will have to source those (alot of choice) Type6-CBBE (BnB required) incomplete vanilla armors Type6P (BnB required) incomplete vanilla armors and DLC Type6F just a nude body (I made that woohoo) (WIP) skims Athletic (BnB) just a nude body, some outfits exist SKINNY 6 (BnB) just a nude body, includes some custom outfits From my understanding here's what the letters mean: M - Modification, usually wider hips and thighs P - Tighter waist for an hourglass look F - Wider breast gap K - Wider upper arms (Type6 and Type4 already have this) BG - Bigger Gallagahoongas? Just very thicc... BnB - Bouncing Natural Breasts, this is an additional addon and support for it is spotty. If you check the Fallout 3 mod directory, you will also notice Alice, Berry, Cali etc. for Type3 though the changes in those cases are alot more minimal and sparse as they're over a decade old at this point. It may be worth while to understand how the data folder is organized and form your own combined archive of replacers depending on which armors and clothing you like especially in the case of T6M because of the variety out there. Pick a body you like and the start browsing for more outfits!
  11. Through my extensive research and time modding Fallout for almost 10 years, I have studied this subject pretty in-depth as well as conducting polling on the matter so have no fear because if you are a mod creator out of ideas, I fully believe the following will always guarantee to please the masses and make your mods at least sound appetizing. More Riot Gear - Everyone likes new variants of the iconic black armor, it's just ingrained to our minds at this point. Recolouring, adding lil bits like tools and canteens, you really can't get enough. The only downside is how that duster sticks to your calves. Backpacks - Not the easiest of mods to pull off but decent backpacks are hard to come by even now, some lack functionality like adding storage which is always nice but there's a large scope for what you can do and the rigging won't be too hard either, just whip together a brown box model, rig it to Spine_2 and you'll have something at least 4 people will try. Another Marksmen Rifle - In my opinion, the most versatile weapon of FNV if you don't have a favourite already. Great damage, has a scope, cheap calibre and lets face it, it's an AR so of course people are gonna use it. Slap a new texture maybe a desert camo or even a lil model work like a silencer and again, it'll pop off faster than a boomer's sidewinder over Hoover Dam. Okay that's like the three I got in my mind right now, kinda late here so I'll add more later but is there any mods which you found always do well on release? I'm tempted to say a new brand of Nuka Cola too but I haven't seen much of those. I guess a relatively newcomer would be kNVSE animation mods like who doesn't love reloading a 10mm Pistol in 9 different ways, I just don't know how accessible creating those are.
  12. Nope, body sliders aren't a thing in Fallout 3/NV and Oblivion. Whilst you can create outfits with outfit studio, bodies require more work to alter. There has been attempts to introduce CBBE for generating a .nif to use ingame but I don't think it's been explored enough beyond just the underwear/nude model. These are simpler times, Every outfit has been hand-edited to fit their respective body types, it's all basically Type3 sharing the same skin textures but with different proportions, UV fixes and weights. The most complete of which would be T4(Type4) which is curvy but natural, T6M in a close second (which I work on alot) seen has the more unrealistic busty body and then Type3, older but the bodies are alot thinner in the arms, legs, chest etc. and of course there's BnB which is your boobie physics bouncy bouncy There are a few more types littered around but whether they have fully fleshed out libraries of armor and clothing conversions is less certain. Whenever I want a specific armor for a body, I open blender and get to work which if you did for every armor in the game there's like 90, it takes a while lol.
  13. Lobotomites do speak, they use feral ghoul voice lines like "stop you"
  14. I will say that I enjoyed Project Zomboid since it has that difficulty factor which can be adjusted, game I bought the previous year. The Sims 1 graphics drew me in. You know you're enjoying a game when the edges of your mouth curl up, I believe that's called smiling? Thinking back to the MMOs I use to play, they were like second jobs Modding has ruined me though, if i can't mod it or make what I want, I won't play it hehe
  15. Sounds like you've made a positive change in your life, well done! I wouldn't be too discouraged about the lack of response, forum culture has become niche in favor of instant messaging like Discord etc for the longest time now though I still enjoy the format. Having your own personal sauna instead of some lackluster videogames ain't a bad trade at all! You're not wrong though, I didn't buy any games last year as nothing appealed to me. Of course, I have my favourite genres and nostalgic classics but there's nothing in the current catelogue, maybe its all just too similar or you get pulled into it by folks on your friendslist. In a way, gaming has become alot more handfed, trading real challenge in favour of short term replayable entertainment but who knows right?
