  1. That they make you manually check which skill books you've already read instead of just putting a status indicator on each book as you click on them in the inventory. Is there any mod that does this? EDIT: Seems there is but its barely noticeable! The tiny white book icon on each recipe/book is open for "known" and closed for "unknown". I thought I'd edit this info in rather than just delete my post, as there must be loads of others who have wondered the same thing! Cheers
  2. So whoever ported over the keybindings needs to be strung up in valentine! Its a complete mess in so many different ways.. its hard to explain but I feel like I'm learning how to play the piano every time I play rdr2. There are just too many keys for frivolous actions and not enough for important actions. And then there's the mashing tapping and holding.. when there are so many keys. WHY?! Its probably the worst utilisation of the qwerty keyboard I've ever seen in my life. And to add insult to injury they still make us use the crappy weapon/item wheels for things like the bandana and binoculars. Ultimately I'd love for the whole system to be overhauled to make some sort of sense but in the meantime can someone please just make it possible so you can bind binoculars and bandana to a hotkey? I thought someone would have by now.. maybe its been done under an obscure mod name I missed. Cheers!
  3. Yes please for the love of God someone fix the fullscreen thing. Surely it must effect framerate as well as being a total annoyance. The way the game works is it expands the window over everything creating a "false" fullscreen. Precious fps are being lost this way as it means desktop window manager among other things are still active underneath! I am in the same situation where I just can't get into the game properly due to this.
  4. A lot of this game was designed extremely badly but one thing that really gets on my nerves is finding out one of the quests had a timer on it and so you have wasted 2-3 game days and have to go back. If the timer disable isn't possible then atleast give us a marker or something in the quest log which tells us which quests have a time limit. Cheers.
  5. thanks took me about 3 minutes to follow this guide and revert back. I also like how you have made it with the thought that people may use it for other games rather than just telling us to copy download_depot 377160 377162 1577971768113543910 into the console. But yeah for all the impatient ones all you need to do is copy "download_depot 377160 377162 1577971768113543910" into the console and hit enter then go find the fallout.exe that it downloads (it tells you where it is) and replace the current .exe with the downloaded one. This will revert your game back to 23rd May 2018 update. Very easy not hard at all. cheers
  6. Hi guys..didn't have many mods active back then and my save works fine without them but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't losing anything like for instance I had a mod called weapon rack which I may have used (can't remember) and if I did then will the weapons on it have disappeared if I don't load without the same mod installed? I also noticed a lot of mods have merged together and even though I have updated them all, I still get the warning about all the .esp files not being there. Like I had one called 25% fusion core drain which slowed down the drainage of fusion cores when wearing PA. But now it seems its all part of a power armor overhaul and after installing it still says its not there. Is there a tool I can use to inspect my save file to see which mods were active in it? As when I load it only displays the first 12 or so then it has "..." Cheers!
  7. Hi guys , I just want to know how to rebind the sheathe button from C to something else like insert, Backspace, or P I have tried changing the input.settings file in "My Documents>Witcher3" I changed all these lines IK_C=(Action=SwordSheathe)to a few different keys but every time I loaded the game.. it didn't work. I have read forum posts where people say this works but it doesn't for me... so maybe it used to in a older version of the game? So I have come to see if there are mods that can do it.. but they seem out of date too. Any help would be appreciated.. Cheers!!
  8. That spring cleaning one looks like the answer.. im checking it out today. Yep already have enough power armours lying around.. don't need more lol. I wish we could do something with them like order settlers to use them but no.. its too glitchy to even do that. I tried forcing a settler to wear one through the console but they only keep it on for a short time and then they just lose the armour somewhere.. just poofs. Same if you let a companion go home wearing one, they will eventually just lose the PA :( Stupid glitchy game. yes it is was wondering why I had a t-45 power armor a set of raider armor and a blank frame...now I have 3 full t-45 sets lmao...anywhy *kicks scrap scrap in the balls" and goes to search for new power armor.
  9. Scrap Scrap is buggy.. gunna wait til they fix that cell thing mentioned in the description.. But I have found that you can disable/move a lot of stuff using the console.. I managed to remove the water from those reservoirs in Warwick homestead and the forklift from Murkwater. But I didn't keep the changes, just in case it glitched my save somehow.
  10. Alright thanks I will check it out.. but be nice if you make a installer where you can select which changes you want. Is that possible? no really if its part of the first list i recreated that functionality, and if its the second list those are REQUIRED for mine to function, the 3rd group have no breaking but are compatible. If you just like a particular feature go with the individual mo, thought if its the Weapon Racks mod or the Legendary mod you can prety much ingnore those as all my mod does is add their keywords you can just never use the weapon rack items and not miss anything
  11. Have you tried the power armour chest mod that gives you stealth when you crouch and slowly drains AP? Not a mod mod.. its a actual in-game mod for power armour that requires level 3 armourer and level 3 science perks to make. I would really like a piece of clothing that does the same thing though.. as I am not always in PA. Maybe a wedding ring that does it? Should be really easy to make that.
  12. Did you try simply going back to her robot corpse and use the console command to resurrect her..? That should work. I wish some cute brit/american girl would do a complete voiceover for curie.. I can't stand her accent >.<
  13. yes.. god I am sick of seeing weeds and grass sticking through floors. What is this 1998???? Seriously Bethesda.. you really suck at the little details don't you >.< Also guys why didn't they let us break junk down into their raw components at a workbench? We need a mod to do that.. it would free up precious weight cap while we are out questing. Unless its already in the game and just a hidden feature somehow? It seems totally illogical to not let us do that. And I hope someone eventually overhauls the values of items. Like a entire tree gives 12 wood but a pencil gives 1? Lol.. what the f*#@? And tin cans weigh 0.1lbs give 1 steel but a bucket gives what, 2 and weighs 5lbs?
  14. Nice ask. Was thinking the same myself.. Thanks nekollx. I will try your mod out but there are a few I don't want.. can you mix and match during the installation? Cheers!
  15. You're right it would be a lot of fun. And a lot less annoying than fast travelling when you're halfway through a quest.. but I think you will be waiting a while for a mod like that. However.. it would be fairly easy to "halfway" do what you're asking where your character teleports to the settlement and loses your items temporarily, then gain some simple items like a hunting rifle and 30 rounds of .308 and a drifter outfit.. maybe even change your actor model to a random new look to make it feel like you have become a settler. Then when the quest completes you teleport back to your last position and regain your items. But... I think maybe the G.E.C.K. would be needed to create such a mod. But as for actually BECOMING one of the current settlers temporarily.. I don't know. Have never seen that done in any of the Bethesda games made with Creation Engine. I would suggest trying to make the same mod for fallout NV yourself just to see if it can be done with the geck. The only difference would be the trigger.. no settlements in FONV so you would need to make a different trigger.. If it works then you just need to wait for FO4 geck like all of us  EDIT: Just did some looking around and found this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22383/? for skyrim.. So I guess it IS possible to directly take control of a NPC in the creation engine. Hope some of this helps :)
