  1. Hi, I'm editing the NPC Ciindil. Here's the stats: Class: Archer Combat style: DefaltArcher Marksman: 36 Items: 1 steel arrow, leveled item potion, leveled weapon arrow1, leveled armour, steel bow No new animations added, so not sure why she won't use them
  2. Hi, thank you for the advice! However, this doesn't seem to work either . I can see she has the different arrows on her back, however she is not able to actually shoot them. She does the shooting animation but nothing is shot out.
  3. The NPC is marked as archer and will equip her bow, but won't shoot anything. I have given her arrows with the count of -1 and then positive integers of 20, but still they won't use them. Any ideas why? Thanks!
  4. Nevermind I figured it out! What I did is I put all the unpacked BSA's into a folder called 'Skyrim BSA Unpacked' and placed that folder in the 'Data' folder, I think because of the name it refuses access to it. As a test I took the 'meshes' folder from the 'Skyrim BSA Unpacked' folder and simply placed it in the 'Data' folder and it worked and I could access it. I think it refused me access due to the name of the folder. Hopefully this works for everyone else who has this issue  Just place the 'Meshes', 'Texture' and all the other folders in the 'data' folder and it should work
  5. Hi all, I've been struggling for a while with accessing NIF files in Skyrim Creation Kit. Looking at what people have been saying to do I took the BSA files and unpacked them and created a folder for them in the Skyrim Steam folder, but when I try to use these NIF files it claims it's an invalid directory. I've placed these files in numerous locations to try and get the creation kit to let me use them but to no avail. It's worked in the past but now nothing is working, any ideas on what to do or how other people got around this issue? Any advice is much appreciated.
  6. Thank you for your advice, I gave it a try but now it just crashes whenever I try to enter the house and sometimes will just crash the game randomly. I'm not too sure what I'm doing wrong.
  7. Hi, I'm struggling with how I am supposed to make a new location for an interior to use as the persist location for my actor. I can set them to premade ones but when I make my own interior space I am lost on how I set up a persist location for it, there isn't any tutorials for it and even when I try it myself and try using XMarkers as the location reference it won't let me. In an old mod I was making I somehow managed to set a world space as a persist location but haven't been able to replicate it since. Any advice would be much appreciated!
  8. I'm having kind of the same problem, only my file pathes don't seem to work. Even with unpacked BSA's in the Steam Skyrim folder it doesn't seem to work :/ very annoying
  9. Hi guys, I'm having a real struggle with accessing any meshes or textures on the creation kit due to an invalid directory/ path. I'm using the STEAM version of Skyrim so with the BSA's I unpacked them and placed the unpacked BSA's within a folder in the data folder, as some people have said this will work. It showed up when looking but when I clicked to use the textures and such it just kept saying invalid directory. Any suggestions to fix this? It was working fine until I had to uninstall and reinstall Skyrim and suddenly I kept getting invalid directory errors. Many thanks!
