it might be a longshot, but I know there was a oblivion mod that made NPCs slip and fall over (the grease arrows from the Thief item import mod). Would be immersive if an npc that stepped directly on a piece of fruit would slip/trip over, or hurt themselves on that dagger you just dropped in their path. This would also make the guards scolding you for leaving things lying around make even more sense
