  1. Out of interest, is anybody else getting this error?
  2. And it runs full screen? Even when you run the application? That's strange. Mine was restricted to a single processor and I encountered this issue. Maybe I need to run it on Windows 7 in compatibility mode. You were talking about HOMM3: Shadows of Death specifically, right?
  3. Yeah. Waiting is probably my best option at this point. I think this is what I'm going to do.
  4. Hey guys. I don't know if many of you out here know that much about VirtualBox, but I'll try anyway. You see, I made a Windows XP virtual machine to install HOMM 3: Shadow of Death and then install the Wake of Gods modification. Everything works just fine, except for the fact that for whatever reason, my VM's screen shrinks down to a tiny box every time I try to run the game. I tried running Windows XP in safe mode and installing the Guest Additions with 3D support... Nothing. My VM stays in full screen mode when I boot it up. My problem happens when I get into the game. And before you say to go on the VirtualBox forums and ask my question, please know that making an Oracle account requires me to hand over much of my personal information that I am uncomfortable giving. Any help?
  5. Hmm. I'm reluctant to do this. I have made a restore point manually before this happened, but I don't want to lose any changes to my system I have made after that.
  6. Oh, and it doesn't work in normal mode either. I tried.
  7. Yes, I have done all of that. I always run my SKSE64 launcher for SSE in admin mode by default.
  8. I use Vortex, not NMM. Besides, I have already tried booting from both my mod manager and the actual desktop shortcut that I have created. Neither work as intended.
  9. As I said before, I already solved this problem. It was the fault of my browser or its security extensions.
  10. You probably have a metric ton of Security and Script plugins installed in Chrome. I use Firefox and have never had a problem downloading and accessing SIlverlock.org Yep. That's probably the reason.
  11. Also, why does it say that my runtime is '1.5.50', when the runtime of SKSE64 2.0.7 is '1.5.39'?
  12. Jesus Christ, am I an idiot. Turns out that in order to access the SKSE page I just needed to access the page with Microsoft Edge instead of Chrome. That's the second time this sort of thing has happened to me (the first time being when I tried to download ENB binaries). I don't know if Chrome is as good as I always thought it was. But maybe it's because of my browser extensions. I don't know.
  13. Hey guys. I have a problem with my SKSE Launcher. Up until a day or two ago, I was able to play Skyrim SE normally. However, yesterday, when I tried to open my SKSE64 Launcher for the game, I got the following message: "You are using a newer version of Skyrim than this version of SKSE64 supports. If this version just came out, please be patient while we update our code. In the meantime please check http://skse.silverlock.org for updates. Do not email about this! Runtime: 1.5.50 SKSE64: 2.0.7" Naturally, I tried to check the SKSE64 site (https://www.skse.silverlock.org/), but every time I try to access it, the site gives me the "Site not found" screen with a sleeping robot. I cannot access it now, even though I could before. Is the site down, or has it moved? The only mods that I have installed as of late were mods to do with textures and improved sound file compression for the game; nothing to do with SKSE64, or any files modifying how the game works on a script level. I have SKSE version 2.0.7 installed, as it says above, which I believe to be the newest version; correct me if I'm wrong. The normal launcher for the game works fine, though I get a cluster of SKSE64 errors when I get into the game, which is to be expected. Please help?
  14. Actually, here's an updated version. [REMOVED]
  15. Sorry for replying so late. Here's my load order copied from LOOT. [REMOVED]
  16. My game CTDs when I try to fast travel because of the conflicts between the two mods. Is there a way to fix/amend this? Is there a patch available? I'm playing Skyrim Special Edition.
  17. Sure. Apologies for a potentially stupid question, but is there some quicker way to do so? Or do I need to write out my entire mod list?
  18. What's a hotkey? And no, I have no autosave mods.
  19. For me, mods such as Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Surreal Lighting and ELFX all cause the game to freeze spontaneously and without warning. This seems to be unaffected by the amount of mods that I have installed, since the problem persisted from when I had about 50 mods installed to now (I have about 180). I have a GTX 1050 Ti. Is this normal? Is there a fix or work-around for this?
  20. I have a problem in which my 'Save' and 'Load' tabs keep looping and making the same noise. It is very annoying. any ideas on what it might be? I wanted to include a video but its size was too big. This error makes it hard for me to load previous saves and make new ones, since I am unable to perform an operation before it 'restarts'. Note: I have found that this problem does not persist when I load another character.
  21. Hey guys, as much as I don't want to jinx myself, I strongly believe that I have found a solution to my problem. Turns out I had to go into 'Services' in Windows 10, and then stop and disable something called 'Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel', as it seems that it conflicts with the game. I have played for at least an hour after doing this and the game has not crashed or frozen since. On a separate note, do you guys know of any HD snow texture mods compatible with the 'Footprints' and 'SSE Texture Pack' by Osmodius? I need one since the vanilla textures for snow look absolutely horrendous. Thx I also changed a lot of the mods listed above. Maybe that helped.
  22. I don't believe my PC has tasks scheduled in the background, apart from, maybe, my anti-virus updating every one hour or so. Besides, I have played Far Cry 5 on my PC also and have never experienced similar problems. I'll turn off my overclock though.
  23. Hey guys, I seem to have quite a strange problem. I installed Skyrim a couple of days ago and have been playing it since, but I seem to have encountered a problem that slightly irritates me. You see, every 20-30 mins, my game inexplicably freezes. The sound starts looping and the only way to exit is to Ctrl+Alt+Delete, sign out, then quit when Steam begins to close or to shut off my computer entirely. I have no idea what to do. My specs are as follows: -i7 7700k -GTX 1050 Ti Cerberus (Overclocked to +180 Core Clock and +250 Memory Clock) -Samsung 860 Evo (The drive on which Skyrim is installed) -G Skill Trident Z 16GB 3200MHz RAM. I also use the following mods: -Immersive sounds compendium 2.1 -Total Character Makeover 1.2 -Unofficial Skyrim Patch 4.1.3b -Open Cities Skyrim -Ars Metallica -Lanterns of Skyrim -Realistic Water Two -Realistic Ragdolls -Even Better Quest Objectives v1.6.3 -Immersive Citizens AI Overhaul -Immersive Patrols -The Joy of Perspective 2.0.0 -Man Those Borders -Point the Way -Rich Skyrim Merchants -Detailed Rugs SE -Ruins Clutter Improved -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Whiterun -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Bridges -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Farmhouse -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap High Hrothgar -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Markarth -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Mines -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Riften -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Solitude -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Windhelm -4K Diffuse 2K Normalmap Mines -A mod that shows up as Newwwwww-2347 in Nexus (probably also a 4K texture mod) -Skyrim Flora Overhaul -Better Vampires -The Paarthurnax Dilemma -A Quality World Map- Classic with All Roads -Achievements Mods Enabler -SKSE INI Pre Download (w/No Warpaint Tweak) -Enhanced Blood Textures I have suspected in the past that it may be due to VRAM, which runs at about 3700MB when I run the game. However, the game seems to crash even when the VRAM usage is relatively low (such as when I am indoors) and also crash after removing a lot of the mods on the list above. My VRAM usage seems to rise no matter what I do. It must also be noted that my RAM is set to 2133MHz in the BIOS and that I am running Skyrim at the highest settings by default. So far, I have searched far and wide for a solution on the internet but can't seem to find one. Can you guys help me? Thanks.
