  1. I used boss, and tried loading the open cities .esp last, but no luck... Also im confused why the readme says to move a esp from the 01 folder to data, when the 01 folder is an optional folder. Right now im loading open cities resources.esm and open cities.esp.
  2. I installed open cities according to the instructions and have loaded both esps from the 00 core folder. Ive noticed two odd things : -Map markers for all the castles and gates have dissapeared (also when you fast travel into the cities, your horse still remains outside) -Doors to mages guilds and other buildings cannot be opened (when i activate them, nothing happens) Any idea whats going on?
  3. I used a mod that made hunter's sight a toggleable ability rather than a spell with a fixed duration. I then disabled the mod while i had hunter's sight active. Now i cannot turn off the ability, even after i have re-enabled the mod. Im looking at the wiki, but i dont see any way to remove the ability or a list of active spell effects (dispellallspells does not work). Any ideas? Edit : player.removespells doesnt work either.
  4. How do i make the wayshrines visible from the start of the game?
  5. Uh how is that different from just using the construction set and disabling the ingame models for all the items so you can equip them but they dont appear on your character?

  7. Thanks for the help. Which script has the vampire feeding script? I took a look VampireScript, but it doesnt include anything to do with feeding. Oh and another question : Lets say i have a robe. I want to change it so it only occupies the chest slot. Thats easy enough to achieve...but i noticed that when i equip hands/greaves, they still appear on my character. Is there any way to make the game display the robe ONLY without the hands/graves? I am sure you can edit the items individually so they dont show up on your character, but i want this to happen with all items.
  8. I disabled the script optimization mod. That might have caused it.
  9. Ive tried enchanced hot keys, it mostly works great but the hotkey window blocks the name of the item you are looking at. Not really a big deal though. I noticed that it keeps making an annoying "x equipped" or "y activated" message though. Whats with that? Oh and is there any way to let you wear clothing + armor like in morrowind?
  10. Mods i suppose but its pretty much impossible to find out what caused it... The game companion program helps a lot in letting me alt-tab out, but im still hanging when i exit the game.
  11. Ah i saw that mod, but it requires you to equip a lockpick...and theres not enough hotkey slots in oblivion as it is...is there a way to do it without equipping an item? Ive taken a look at the vampire mods on the nexus, but most of them just change the time when you change to the next stage of vampirism. I dont see anything that alters feeding targets. Oh also another one : -Make factions non-psychic (they will not kick you out for killing a member if nobody witnesses it).
  12. -Adding hotkeys to game menus (e.g. pressing A while looting will take all items and auto-close the window) -Changing security/lockpicking so that activating a door will auto-calculate your lockpicking chance. Similar to auto-attempt but without the window popping up Or changing skeleton key so that it auto-unlocks every door without the silly minigame -Allowing you to wait and sleep while trespassing -Letting you feed on non-sleeping NPCs(e.g. NPCs that are unconcious)
  13. Thing is the game didnt use to hang at all when i did that...neither did it hang when i exited the game.
  14. Lets say i enter the fighter's guild at 12 pm. I wait till 2 am. Everyone is still walking around, awake, and they dont go to sleep.... It happens everywhere. E.G. If i wait outside a shop till midnight, and i go into the shop 5 mins later (real time), the shopkeeper is still standing at the counter instead of sleeping. Ive noticed sometimes NPCs "teleport" while waiting though....they dont take any time to enter the building. They just appear inside. Edit : Tried this again at castle skingrad. Waited at the entrance hall till 12 midnight. Waited till 3 am in real time. Broke into the lord's manor and both the count and the maid are standing at their beds, refusing to sleep. Edit 2 : Waited outside torbal the sufficient's house for him to come back. Saw him enter the house. Waited a couple of minute sand snucked in. He was NOT sleeping. He was just standing at the door. At this point im pretty sure NPCs dont even move after they enter their own house unless the player is there to see them do it....
  15. Is there any way to disable the freezing? Because even if i stand around at 2 am(After waiting), guild members just walk around but never seem to go to sleep. Ive also noticed that it doesnt complete freeze the cell...if i enter the fighter's guild at midnight when nobody is around, and i wait, people will walk in during the morning....
  16. Apparently oblivion hangs every single time when i alt-tab out or exit the game. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this? I have the oblivion crash preventer mod already.
  17. So apparently NPCs never go to sleep when you are in the same cell...which means that if i sleep in the fighter's guild, all the members are still wide awake at 2 am. Same thing happens if i wait outside a shop. Shop owner doesnt sleep, i cant rob the shop. This pretty much ruins any attempt at burglary or vampire feeding...is there a way to mod this?

Since nobody at the official forum seems to have the slightest clue, how do i mod the following : -Adjust the amount of caps shopkeepers have -Add/change the items a shopkeeper has for sale -Either make a shopkeeper carry their inventory on their person, or somewhere nearby (rather than a magical vault that you cant get to) -Make vendorton stock the unique weapons he is supposed to when gloria dies.
