Help with laggy Racemenu color sliders
UnitedStrafes replied to UnitedStrafes's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Ya that was one of the 1st things I looked at. It's all there and well. Weird because usually it's the hair and giving me problems but now it's colors. Also weird that the hair sliders act completely normal. -
Just did a fresh install of Skyrim and rebuilt it from the ground up. I have an issue I have not encountered before and I didn't install any mod I have not had before. The problem is when I try to use the color sliders on anything SKIN related only (doesn't happen with the hair color sliders) the slider itself becomes very laggy to the point it's useless to even try to use the sliders. Anyone ever encountered this before or know of what MAY be causing it? It's very frustrating as it makes thingks like great makeup and warpaints pretty much impossible to accomplish.

It won't be optimal because I still won't pay for it, neither will the majority of anyone else. I don't need to be subscribing or being nickle and dimed by every game I buy, and I won't be, they can DO it sure, but they won't be seeing any of my money. I just wouldn't buy or play that game....lotsa other games out there. -

Never paid for a mod never will, not in Skyrim and not in Fallout 4, When I start making mods which I plan to do for Fallout It won't be because I'm expecting some compensation. Steam is full of bad ideas lately and is turning from something that was very cool into video game Wal-Mart sad really. It's nice you spent so much time making your mod and I hope you do well, but anyone needing to be compensated for modding leads to me not needing that mod........EVER. -
It's just sad, I would donate money to every mod author who's mods I ever used if I could but I'm not Mr. Superrichguy. If for some reason I had to start paying for mods the outcome for me would be to simply not use them and if it were something like "pay for any mods you ever will use" Then I wouldn't play that game. Let's face it Skyrim is a pretty mediocre game without the modding community and assuming the money split is no where near into the modders favor Beth and Valve should be ashamed actually.

SOLVED: For anyone else having this problem, for me the solution was I wasn't checking the "skeleton arm patch" when I ran FNIS to update animations.

So idk if this is how it's always been because I rarely have 2 single edge weapons equipped before now. The problem is single edge weapons always show with the blunt side down (weapons such as Katanaa etc) in the 3rd person view (but not 1st person view) is this how it has always been? If not does anyone know a fix on how I can get the left hand weapon to display propery in the 3rd person.

The 290 but I'd seriously consider waiting till you can afford a 970-80 they're actually very decently priced compared to Nvidias other new releases and are well worth the money.

Try UFO, I haven't come across any NPC followers that I haven't been able to strip down and equip how I wanted with it.

Ya once I really got into the site I was ok with giving up some cash, due to the already huge impact that recent games have had on my disposable income I won't be able to be subbed al the time but will give some money gladly for such a well put together site and service, thanx. -
Obsidian commit to mod support and the Nexus for Project Eternity
UnitedStrafes replied to Dark0ne's topic in Site Updates
I agree with meteorswarm, what's next Capcom and EA asking for some funds to get the next Street Fighter or Madden 2058 going? I'm not putting Obsidian in that same boat, but come on. -
Steam sells retail cards now, Steam takes pre-paid debit cards, there's literally a dozen options to get it through Steam, most of them are little or zero headache. If you wanted it that bad you'd have figured one out by now.

Thanks ya the UNP and character stuff I can do later. I will get one of the big textures 1st at least before going on to those.

Animations are generally under "meshes" look there for the one you put in and delete it. If you don't remember just re-dl it and look at what the exact name was.

My mods just became a muddled mess, so I'm deciding to start over, have deleted the game and every bit of anything related to it. First, when I have the game re-downloaded what are the 1st 3 MODs you would do before starting anything? Base these off of the idea that I can DL any type of gameplay and fluff mods later and I like to keep priority on visuals 1st. Next I have the game through Steam so I will automatically DL the Bethesda packs. Now I usually left those in there and just had them on the 1st load order above everything else. You think it is better just to delete them entirely, or leave them? Last couple things, I use a Nvidia 670FTW and use control panel for things like the AA and Antisotropic and AO. I will always have SKSE as a launcher does the default Skyrim that's on the Nvidia list also launch with SKSE or do I need to add an SKSE.exe to the Nvidia control panel? Also after the 1st three priority mods, what would be the next three you would install? Thanks a lot!
