Yeah but plenty of mods make things in vanilla obsolete in fact many things in vanilla make lower level things in vanilla obsolete

That'd be pretty cool. By the way I got this idea while trading Soul Husks for Spell Tomes, which made me realise that at least Dawngaurd has the functionality to produce random results from static ingredients.

How about a spell that restores Ruined and Burned Books?

What would be the easiest way to replace the reward for a daedric quest with a custom weapon I already have made? Would it work to just give my new weapon the old Daedric weapons ID, or would it be easier to find the quest rewards and make the changes there?

I was reading comments on a mod somewhere and I think it would be great if there were a series of enchantments with negative effects that you could put on items and reverse pickpocket people into wearing. Now I'm not sure the best way to go about these things but what about an Amulet that gives negative health regen or a Helmet that makes spells cost more, maybe even some cuffs that prevent attacks, or boots that prevent movement. Maybe even some of the enchantments could have multiple effects, one positive and one negative, that the skillful enchanter with the twinsouls perk could balance for good or bad.

A mod that overhauls the master spells by implementing the shout effects as spells. For instance: Illusion-- Master: Bend Will (Isn't this really what you expected in a master Illusion Spell?) Dragon Rend (This school of Magic really needs something they can use against Dragons) Disarm (For use against tougher opponents you can't charm or fear) Invisibility (I think this one should be bumped up to Master, after all the guy who teaches you these spells can't even do it.) Harmony, Hysteria, Mayhem (Each less powerful than dual cast Pacify, Rout, and Frenzy Making them useless) Adept: Throw Voice=Illusion (I can make you lose the will to fight, or run in terror, but I can't make you think I might be over there?) Expert: Animal Allegiance= Illusion (Replacing invisibility, and besides if any wood elf can just do it, why can't I a master of manipulation figure out a spell to do it?) Alteration-- Master: Marked for Death (Offensive Alteration Spell) Dragon Hide (The spell that made everyone sad that they invested in the Mage Armor Perk 30s? Really?) Dragon Aspect (At least this adds some defense on top of Ebony Armor) Slow Time (Unconventional Magic that feels like powerful alteration to me) Mass Paralysis (Here is a spell that makes me feel like a master) Adept: Clear Skies (Not a big deal really, if you aren't doing the main quest, but could be helpful with the likes of Frostfall) Destruction-- Ice Form (Destruction could use a little bit of utility) Storm Call (This is what I imagine from a master of the elements) Meteor Storm (I'm not sure if this one is doable, but if it is it'd be cool) Cyclone (Why does Skyrim ignore the fourth element?) I'm not sure what would be done with the original Master spells, but as the primary offensive magic I don't see a problem with it pulling double duty with twice as man Master spells. Maybe even add in Whirlwind Sprint for a total of 8. Adept: Unrelenting Force (This could give the feel of wind magic added to destruction) Restoration-- Become Ethereal (A master Restoration spell that helps you not die. Makes sense to me) Battle Fury (Party buffs, not just for Illusionists) Bane of the Undead (No problems here) Guardian Circle (But two spells was a little light) Adept: Elemental Fury (Precursor to Battle Fury) Conjuration-- (Actually I felt Conjuration got the power of spells and number of spells right) Master: Flame Thrall Frost Thrall Storm Thrall Dead Thrall Adept: Call of Valor (But everything else got an adept spell and I've always wished I didn't have to go out of my school to summon a ghost) Shouts with current spell equivalents: Aura Whisper= Detect Life Dismay=Fear Kynes Peace=Calm Soul Tear=Raise Dead? The two dragon summon shouts I'd say shouldn't be available because what sort of spellbook would have those specific dragons and their guarded names in it?

And I can even contribute a link to a resource for the naming module: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Nord_Names Every race has a naming convention like that used in the games. UESP has compiled them. I'd also be willing to write some of the notes ect. for the last mod. I can't mod, but I am not too shabby of a writer.

It wouldn't have to be hostile just because it's a falmer. The real trouble is it could be immersion breaking if you trap the souls yourself. (Trap a deer and out pops a bear) -

What about a transmute sort of spell, that removes filled black soulgem from your inventory and summons a random ghost to fight for you. If you are good aligned you can dismiss him or her, but it would also be useful for necromancers. -
