  1. This issue has been resolved! It turns out that it was a MOD ISSUE even unchecking the mod it somehow still applied. More specifically it was a PHYSICS mod that had to deal with dead/alive NPCs and I guess when I crossed the line it registered all of the NPCs moving which slowed me down. Also, I have no idea why it still was in the vanilla game but honestly I'm just happy that I get to slay more dragons!! Thank you guys so much for helping me and I wish you all the best!
  2. Here is my System Info. I have a Nvidia GTX 970 that has 4gb of ram, 1 tb HDD and one SSD that's 120 gb. http://imgur.com/5cKWjqh
  3. I didn't manually install Direct X nor Net Framework but I think it might when I launched the game for the first time on Steam? I'm not too sure, sorry. Is there any way to check my current version/if I have it installed? Also, I would like to apologize for not reading the "How to ask for help" post!
  4. OMG I think you might have found the problem to my issue, recently my FPS dropped SIGNIFICANTLY like from consistent 60fps to 3fps in towns/cities but out in the wild my fps is fine for some reason. I also did install the latest driver yesterday too.
  5. I was considering deleting everything and starting a fresh download of Skyrim because at this point I just want to play the game, the mods are whatever to me now :( but I'm not sure if it'll work like that? Would it still have the same issue? and if yes should I just wait for the remastered to come out?
  6. Ok I tried a LOT of things recently. So I tried the patch and noticed that it sadly didn't work, the troubleshooting also did not help and I tried turning off all of the mods and launched/played the game via Steam launcher, also, the problem was replicated. I just now tried the ENB booster and it made the game run extremely fast for some reason like I was running very fast. Now though, instead of low fps such as 11 or 3 it drops my fps to around 20 but the interesting thing is that in specific locations of Riverwood my game goes in slow motion? o_O As long as I am not in the area everything is in real time but the second I walk into the zone my fps slowly drops along with the game speed, the screen gets choppy and it seems like there is screen tear. EDIT: OH and I also did defrag too but no luck  I forgot to add this too but I tried putting this game on low and the game still has the slow motion.
  7. I'm really glad you told me to do this! So after unticking all of the mods I started a new game and the intro was smooth, consistent 60fps but the second I got near Helgen on the horse my fps went from 60>35>20>7>3 which now I believe that it isn't mods O_O. I then backed up my inis and did that recommended setting which set me to Ultra settings.
  8. Yeah I just tried that recently by turning off all extra textures, lighting effects, and objects but still no luck. I also found the exact line that when I cross my FPS instantly drops and it only applies to towns/cities.
  9. Recently, after installing a mod that allows body scaling my game had the infinite loading screen issue so I decided to look online for a mod to fix it and I found "Safety Load" in the Nexus and it did work but I realized that my fps dropped to 10 whenever I am in towns or in buildings but out in the wilderness I get 50-70 fps. My rig consists of a GTX 970, iCore 5 6600k, 8 gb DDR4 ram. This had only started after I installed the mod so the most logical thing to do at the time was for me to simply uninstall it but it still has extreme fps drop and stuttering. So far I presume that it has something to do with memory allocation and maybe there's not enough memory for the graphics to fully load/bottlenecking? I tried running it again and I realized that in specific areas of the map in town such as Markarth I get 50 FPS approx. 3 step radius and this is consistent, I tried running around in a circle and whenever I reached that specific area it goes back up. Also, whenever I open the menu it is 75 fps and whenever I go into a smaller spaced area such as a tiny house or guard barracks fps is around 3-11. I then tried Alt+Tab and I saw that my GPU was barely running because the idle temp is around 30 degrees and it was at 32 degrees even when it was running for 30 minutes to an hour. Now after some time passed I think it might be the settings in Skyrim.ini maybe? I'd appreciate any help you can offer, thanks! EDIT: I have confirmed that this only an issue in any town. I have stabilized my FPS to 60 but whenever I enter a town it goes down to 15-20 FPS.
