  1. Fancy meeting you here. :) I'd love to use Vortex for this Lucy apartment too, but I get this Vortex message (see below). Will these files go in the correct directories, after all? I don't even know what a vortex file looks like; if I knew, I can maybe try and repair it, so it will deploy properly under Vortex.
  2. Thank you for your reply. I am trying to mod Cyberpunk 2077, specifically Lucy's Apartment After Edgerunners, at: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/5800?tab=files I am getting the 'fallback' message (see below). It says proceeding will cause it to dump EVERYTHING into the staging folder. Does thst mean it will dump everything into the staging folder root? (not good) Or also subdirectories (as needed by the game)? Like you, I really rather not manually mod anymore, as that tends to get too messy (after ten mods or so, as you're beginning to lose overview). I will try whether I can recreate a Vortex scructure inside a zip (never done that before). Is rhere a guide for that, perchance? N.B. I had pasted an image in here, showing the Vortex error, but the forum says "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community." So, I can't show you.
  3. When I have to add some mods manually, should I use the Vortex hardlinked folders, or original game folders? Vortex itself is installed in the \Program Files\ tree. I had it install the mods in G:\Vortex Mods\ (as that's where my hard-linkable games are). I was thinking manual installs (when Vortex install for a mod isn't there) should now be placed inside G:\Vortex Mods\ as well, instead of clobbering over the original games files. Is that thinking correct? Thanks.
  4. Seems easy enough, right? Deinstall, reinstall. Except Vortex appears extremely aggressive in keeping a presence. I deinstall, start over, but then it knows somehow which mods I installed for which game. I deleted the Vortex Games folder too, but it keeps coming back, but says I somehow lost the hardlink ability. I want Vortex entirely gone! To the point where it will truly start from scratch again, and not blab about staging folder missing and such. To the point where it will do a full reinstall, and not sneakiy tries to remember what the situation was before, because now all my mods no longer work. How can I accomplish this? EDIT: Nevermind, got it solved bttoggling between hardlink and the expimental option a bit.
  5. Where is this mega mansion supposed to be? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvHZ5z90T9o Thx.
  6. Today's new mega patch 1.5 introduced a slew of new apartments. I would love too see a mod that unlocks them all (in the spirit of Single Player Apartment in GTA V).
