Sharduke

Hi, I've spent my evening trying to learn Blender (after my old steady Nifskope couldn't quite do what I wanted) to no avail. While I keep trying, could someone more talented than me please edit the Targe of the Blooded shield (meshes/spikedshield) so that only the metal centerpiece remains? Here's a picture of my intended purpose; clearly the wood, outer spikes, rim, and handle have no place here. Thanks!
