  1. This type of script disappearance happens when the script is added to the record before the record technically exists. To ensure your script sticks, make sure you "save" your record by pressing OK to close it and then open it back up and add your script. Ok thanks i will give it a try although my script still exists in the scripts folder but only appears to have been deleted from the papyrus fragment window along with the quest objective lol

Ok heres one that has me baffled: So (using CK to create armour for a custom actor only) I duplicated every armour addon in the deadric set and renamed them all e.g. AADaedricglovesduplicate to Demongloves etc etc. Next I copied all the texture files for the daedric armor addons and renamed them in the same fashion(taking care not to overwrite any vanilla textures) I recolored my duplicate textures to make them all red. Now using the creation kit I applied the new textures I had created to ONLY the Demongloves etc. armor addons and made sure the vanilla daedric armor addons still had the default textures. Now my problem is this: every piece of daedric armour in skyrim has been changed to the custom red daedric armor that only my custom actor should be wearing but according to the Creation Kit everything is dandy. Help please?????
  3. I dont mean to be critical or offensive sorry if I came across that way. I am merely stating an opinion which is not aimed personally at anyone in particular. I myself am not very skilled at modding though clearly other people are in reference to the list of oblivion/morrwind mods I mentioned and I would simply like to see the same awesome mods in skyrim!!
  4. This. Also, it may just be me, but it feels like the modding community is down a bit since Oblivion? I was not a modder at the time of Oblivion, but I've also heard people mention Creation Kit is much more buggy and difficult to use for many things compared to Oblivion's editor. These may have something to do with it as well. But as mentioned, the biggest thing is that the biggest great mods take time, and even though Skyrim has been out a while, it's not been out long enough for the bigger projects to finish. Also, as there are fewer and fewer smaller mods to create, more modders will be joining projects to create bigger mods. At least, that's what I think might be part of the reason. Yeah the Creation Kit is a nightmare lol only thing that seems to work properly is making new races, some monsters dont show up at all on teh viewer window. I am currently trying to "fix" a quest I am making but the CK keeps deleting my scripts and serveral of my quest stages and objectives for some reason unknown to me at the momement. When I test my quest with a save game at the start of Skyrim it seems to work ok, though if I play through the game a bit and then start my custom quest I cant get past stage 20 and when i re-open my quest in CK lo and behold my scripts and levels objectives have been deleted lol. They really need to do some work on this and release a proper bug free update.

Skyrim Monster Mod replaces vanilla monsters not add new ones Moonpath to Elweyr looks ok might try that out Dremora Race is nothing special, pretty easy to do I can make dremoras playable lol, Skyrim and Oblivion have numerous custom demon races, Chimera & Ismelda Demon race, Abyss Demon, Blood Demon, Devil/Angel Race
  6. First of all I would like to say I mean no disrespect to modder's with this post. I fully understand how hard people work to make mods and the time & effort they take and they are free to download. I fully appreciate all that. Now that being said is it just me or does anyone else think that in comparison to Oblivion and Morrowind mods Skyrim mods are pretty dull and boring? I mean for example why are there no mods for Skyrim like: Gates to Aesgaard, Warcry - A new dimension, Hentai Mania etc., Devil/Demon Races, dungeons with new custom tile sets/textures, new lands such as Elseweyr for oblivion etc, new monsters(not reskins/amalgams of vanilla monsters) that only add to the leveled list and do not replace vanilla monsters???
  7. Hi all hope this topic reaches the right people. To put it quite simply The Gates to Aesgard episodes 1 & 2 for Oblivion were in my opinion the best mods ever to be created for any Elder Scrolls game. I would love to see a Skyrim version created if anyone has the know-how or if they could pass this request onto the people who made the Oblivion version. Thanks
  8. I am using this huge mod on morrowind right now. While it is pretty amazing it ain't bug free am afraid lol. So far 2 cave dwellings in Gnisis have been replaced with sliding doors with rock faces behind them, same for the daedric ruins near ahemusa camp at the Grazelands.
  9. Thanks man got some ggod mods from those sites. Though I see World of Tanks has a nexus lol so if ppl are still intersted in modding that game then who knows maybe we will see a SWKOTOR Nexus one day lol
  10. How about a Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 Nexus? All of the current mods are so outdated on this game now, would be good to see some new ones!
  11. Check your settings (Notification Options). Make sure you haven't set it to no notifications, or weekly digest. Cheers man set all to inline notifs and changed watch settings to immediate

  14. Hi there was wondering if anyone can recommend a GOOD mod that improves the dull and barren samey landscape of skyrim as this was one of teh things i hated about oblivion and skyrim the landscapes and ares were all the same. In Morrowind all the areas had different looking environments

I am having a strange problem with the Creation kit. i designed a custom quest with 50 stages when I test teh quest out in game everything works fine however when i save my plugin file and try to play the quest it wont advance past stage 20 and I cant view it on teh world map. I reopen my plugin with creation kit only to find quest stages 30 to 50 have been deleted and I get an error message upon opening my pluging about the custom script i made for stage 40 upon where u retrieve an elder scroll from teh body of the boss it activates teh next quest stage. If I rewrite teh script and quest stages It all works fine on test but when I Start a game with teh plugin enabled same thing happnes when i start teh quest it wont show on world map and wont advance past stage 20. Any ideas???
