Several other ideas: God themed shouts. They could have similar effects to the original Thunderchild shouts just be god themed. One for each god. Some new uses for Dragon Souls. Like:- Dragon Soul to perk mechanic. You can dual use Kyne altar for that. - Dragon Souls as requirements to smith some of the new artifacts you are planning to implement 3. Necromancy shout. I know it is a part of an original Thunderbolt… thing is… I am thinking about something more than a normal reanimate spell. : -Maybe instead of reanimating corpses it could create spirits (with a large damage resist because they are incorporal) when you shout at the corpse? -Maybe first word would be for “storing a souls” from corpses. Second for releasing one stored soul as ghost. Third for releasing up to three stored souls as ghosts 4. Something like an assassin shout. Something that allows you to sneak attack with shouts. 5. I know that in original thunderbolt there already was a mechanic that allowed us to get more dragon souls but… hmmm… maybe instead of it… some way to smith souls from soul gems into a Dragon Soul? Like three dark filled soul gems for one Dragon soul?- 132 replies

It looks amazing. :3 Hehe... I think I won't be using this switch. I like more challenging games and hmmm... I don't really see why it would become less realistic with the minigame thing. :)- 132 replies

This statue looks amazing. :3 Btw. Any possiblity to add a global value that we could modify via console tied the Shouts cooldown? It would improve the compatybility between the mods that modify vanilla shouts. ;)- 132 replies

Uhh... maybe some sort of learning altar? Something that works (but doesn't look like one lol) as a "forge" that allows you to "forge" new shouts at the cost of dragon souls? Still some sort of additional learning conditions would be nice. I mean just having the proper words to learn a new shouts is not enough. Ok lets say that there is a book... ok five books for each of the five gods that are connected to shouts and each one for one of the greay beards. ;) The books are scattered inside High Hrotgar. When you read such book and have a spare dragon soul a quest is started... (and the dragon soul is consumed) the point of each quest is to use a specific shout you have a particualr amount of times. For exaple... you read Akatosh book so now you have to either kill 100 people with the fire breath or use the bend will shout on a dragon 20 times or something else etc. When you fulfill one of the quest condition you learn a new shout? When you learn at least one shout of the first tier from one book and read it again with another spare dragon soul a quest will be started again and you again will be faced with compleating one of the quests... but this time outside of the quest you didn't compleat before some new ones will appear? It would allow you to divide the new shouts between the five gods... each set of themed shouts for each god themed book?- 132 replies

Here comes Herma Mora! :smile: Woow… I was thinking that it should be brown like Miraak robes… but now that I think of it… Herma Mora should be dark green like you did there. :smile: I mean all those tentacles… :wink: Comments on the new robes: Novice and Shor – Yup now there is a bigger color variety. Oath and Wild – No longer resemble each other. I think they look ok. Sands – Alikir themed ehh? :wink: The top side looks ok. The bottom needs some more love. Maybe more white… same as the sleeves have… and more darker red? Kings and Harvest– the top parts do not fit the bottom ones. Moons – the contrast between silver and black is too big. Especially between the hood and the epaulets. Worms – Nice concept but there is something with the hood and epaulets I can’t really place my finger on… lol Red – looks nice. :smile: Rose – Not sure… lol White, Akatosh, Kyne and Talos – Look cool. :3 Herma Mora – I like the green concept but there are some white green parts that do not really fit…. also something not right with the hood. Well... I see the problem. ;; That means the hands are left... or some rearly used equip slot? I heard that the last ones are the used very often... Still several amulets would be ok. I mean with the new SkyUi version changing the equipement according to the situation is not really problematic. Ohhh... and thx about the lore on Shor. :3 Edit. Alternatively... maybe instead of using equipement slots... something like the shrines that grant the blessings directly? Just a random idea. lol- 132 replies

Robes comments: Novice – Shor - those two are really similar in coloristic. Oath - It doesn’t really fit necromancy theme. I thought the black one was planned for this purpose. Black – Yup… too black. Needs more variety of colors. White – Yup… it would be cool to underline the gold more. Some random robes ideas: Herma Mora themed robes. The red is the most similar to Herma Mora theme. Sithis themed robes. I mean…. it sounds cool… so why not… black ones might fit into that after retext. The symbols on robes. Like the Talos robes can have a Talos holy symbol on them. Akatosh might have a Akatosh symbol. Kyne might have a Kyne symbol, Necromancy might have a Skull symbol etc. Comments and ideas on the other Tongue artifacts: Amulets - Would be ok I think. However… in the original Thunderbolt there was an amulet with the cool down reduction enchantment. There is already an amulet of Talos that grants that. :wink: I think that several powerful amulets with some innovative enchantments that can be an alternative for amulet of Talos would be nice. Alsoo… since amulets then why not rings? I mean rings wouldn’t compete with amulets so this way you can have two shouting buffs at once. Some sort of book or object that goes into its own slot? - That would be epic… but yeah you are right. Many armor mods use those slots already. ;_; A wieldable holy symbol of Talos – that is a cool idea. Talos can have a special axe with shouting buffs.. :3 Maybe also some staves that allow you to cast a spells that buff shouts? I have several ideas on this one: Stave with a spell that regenerates the half of your current shout cooldown bar. Castable only once per 10 minutes. Stave with a spell that makes the next shout go out two times in a row. I mean like… the moment you use firebreath … there is the first normal wave of fire and after a second there automatically comes the second wave. Now a newb question. I understand that Shor is the Nordic name for Lorkham. How is he related to shouts?- 132 replies

Those are the mods who scale your magic magnitude and sometimes also the time your spell last based on the level of your magic skills. Like... the higher is your destruction skill the bigger is the damadge dealt by your spells... etc Just type "scal" in the nexus seach option and see what will pop out. I play on the PC... so I have no idea how SkyUI works on a X360 but for me it is a must have. Never noticed ant type of problems with it and it makes the usage of the spellbook and inventory a lot easier and time consuming... plus it looks better then the vanilla one. ACE doesn't modify magic skill trees. It modifies some skill trees but not magical ones. ACE magic module adds several magical buffs based on the skills you have but doesn't modify the skills directly. It is tots compatybile with Apocalypse.

*Waits impatiently.* :3 Kyne is one god that is connected to shouting... you can also use Talos and Akatosh in some way... and maybe the deadra Herma Mora for the players who like prefer more darker approatch. ;) Hmmm... it would be epic if you included your speech tree from Ordinator as an optional file for non SkyRe users. :)- 132 replies

Awww… I was hoping you will revive Ordinator once Apocrypha is finished. Hmmm… you are probably right… it would be hard for a new perk mode to compete with SkyRe… although you had some really good ideas. Hmmm… and I guess Skyrim doesn’t see the difference between harmful buffs and positive ones? Maybe a single buff exclusion… but Skyrim probably also doesn’t allow it. hmmm… maybe add an secondary effect to Mythalcraft that negates the damage from self casted buffs by 10 points? Last idea is an automatic turn off applied to mythalcraft once the mine is detonated… and an automatic turn on once the negative buff wares off?

Then I am looking forward to the thunderchild release... however I won't be able to wait with my next playout much longer.... too excited to try out the new alteration spells. :3 Primordial Shock sounds soo cool. I will be sure to make it reach +150 bonus damage... it looks like quite a challenge... but a rewarding one. :D Hmmm... a random idea... it would be cool to give some material in game object to the players who reached 150 bonus damage. Something that would remind them that they did it. :3 Like for example the moment you achieve it a dwarven ingot from your inventory is consumed and altered into a ring with some unique enchantment.... in case the player doesn't currently have one then he will get the ring the next time he uses the spell while possessing the ingot. :3 Btw. Two questions: Are you planning to go for Apocrypha 2 or Thunderchild after Apocrypha 1 is released? :3 I am curious if you are using any mods that change the spell perk trees in Skyrim? I am kinda torn between several options at the moment.... and I am curious what are the preferences of the creator of Apocalypse. :)

Yes! :3 That means next week two of three mods I have been waiting for will be on! :D Ummm... but you are also planning to update thunderbold... I can already feel that I will be torn apart between waiting for TB update or starting my next playout. :3

OhOhOhOoOoO So many questions…. so few answers. :3 I think that the word biotics might imply that you can absorb the powers from the stones. That is the vibe I got. Atomize- I think this one will be circulating around the irradiate random effects… orr cloudbreaker MIRV orrr both? Tumblerbane – this one sounds like the „Volta spell” that deals damage to knock down enemies . Calldown – The one that was going to Deal damadge to enemies with low health and magica? Phase Lock –the heir of magnet lock pick spells? Impulse –the heir of Darakh disintegrator? Worldshaping –Weather machine? Hydrodynamics – walking on water ? Force Armor –Adaptive protection? Bisection – that one sounds cool… but I don’t have any guesses Hehe... can't wait for the release. :D

Most of the spells in Apocrypha are new.... there are some who might have similar application but they also come with the new mechanic that makes them more innovative, practical... and sometimes also adds new applications. I see don't think there is any real problem with using both Apocalypse and Apocrypha at the same time... Technically speaking. In practice it would probably flod you with too many new spells at the same time... and some of those from Apocalypse would loose its purpose because they would have to rivalize in usefulness with those from Apocrypha.

Hmmm... well I think that Crystal Seed looks cool. I see it as a nice diversification of original Apoc stun like spells. The thing that makes it stand out is the damadge input and reset timer thing. It should prize the mage timing and smart usage of spells... expetially when you combine it with the Volta leg spell. ;3 Btw. Are you still planning to make Weather machine? I really liked the concept.... well it could also fit into the Apocrypha 2 as a druidic Wheather corntrol spell.

Well… I like the way this lost Dwemer technology theme is being realized. It certainly will add a nice atmosphere to the game and… hmmm it will also make Apocrypha into something more than normal a spell mod…. like it is going to enrich the Dwemer culture and make the player want to explore dwemer ruins to uncover new wonders. :3 I love the idea of replacing the toggle type spells with “dwemer stones” . It should encourage the players to use an appropriate “amulet” for an appropriate situation and by doing that it will add totally new value/purpose to concept of a amulets for mages…. Hehe… I guess the next version of SKYUI will nicely support this idea. ;3 Hmmm… I understand that the elements needed for the construction of those artifacts (like this Junk thing) will be found on the Dwemer autonomi right? It would be nice to add a small chance for them to also carry some less powerful staves and stones…. And maybe add a small chance of Falmer mages carring some staves as well... (well they can salvage stuff from the ruins) I would love to have a fight with someone using this very own magic against me. >:3 Alsoo… yay for the mine charges. :smile: Well... Enai probably picked Tolfdir because he kinda fits into Apocrypha... I mean later on he is planning to release Apoc 2,3,4 and 5 for other schools of magic so each one of the five teachers from the College will receive something special. Edit. About the new spells: Subjugate - Sounds like a really powerful debuff.... and it means it sounds cool. :3 Levitate - Also a nice idea... hmm any possibility to make the player get swimming animation... orrr... hmmm maybe a steam under his feets when he runs? Like the magic condenses the air under?

Yeah... I know... but making an aim spell would have been a totall rippoff from the Unrelenting force shout... Hmmm... maybe then giving the mine several charges would do the trick? Like... the number of charges depends on your alterations skill... so that you can use it to stop groups of enemies from exiting a room or block them in cramp spaces for a long time and so on… plus well using it on a cliff could make some of them fall down?

I am actually looking forward to using the Blowout Mine. The thing with Unrelenting force shout is that in practice I always find a better shout to use at the moment... or my shout bar is already blocked and so I was always hoping to get the opportunity to throw someone off the cliff with normal magic. ;3
