  1. So after digging a bit, I found the problem. I opened a bug on the mod page (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22382?tab=bugs), but in the meantime, if anyone has similar issues, here is what I did. In the CBBE version, the « Weight slider » is enabled for the Spellbinder armor, which means that the game needs two version of the models in order to weight them, that corresponds to "_0.nif" and "_1.nif" files (as far as I understand). The problem is that the meshes corresponding to the first person view of the armor are not included in the CBBE bodyslide presets of the mods, so when you (or the mod author) generates the files, the first person view are not generated, thus only the "_1.nif" version is present. Since I assumed that the difference between the two weights would be negligible in 1st person view, and since I don't really know how to use BodySlide, I simply copied the "_1.nif" files for the first person view and renamed them with "_0.nif", which solved the issue.
  2. Could you clarify a bit? I get that my heavy armor / one-handed / block should be higher than what they are right now, but isn't heavy armor / shield / one-handed a good combination? Well it's not an « Ebony mace », it's some weird mace (probably from a mod) which had ~25 damage at first and I upgraded it. And since I needed ebony to upgrade it, I assumed it was about the same (hence the « I think »). Well, I did... Other quests? I also started with two-handed, which is why my block and one-handed are slightly behind... I am focusing on improving them right now, but I often ran into the issue above ;) I wanted to try some kind of hybrid magic-warrior build... I am currently mainly focusing on restoration (on the spell part), but if I managed to catch up on one-handed / block, I'd like to invest into destruction a bit more. I am not looking for an OP build, I just want to enjoy the game, without rolling on everything, but without dying on every single pack, which is why I wanted to check (before eventually changing the difficulty), if the issue was me (my gameplay / my build) or some bad mess with my addons. Your answers are pretty clear on this point, so thank you ;)
  3. Hi everyone, So I'm getting back to Skyrim after a few years and I have some troubles with the difficulty and I am wondering if I did something wrong with my mods or... if I am just bad at it. I've always played a kind of sneaky character, with light armor and dual-wielding but this time I wanted to try something different. To give you an idea here is my current character : Level 29, 225 HP / 210 Stamina / 160 Magicka, I am playing heavy armor (67 skills) + mace (55 in skills) + shield (38 in skills), with some perks in these trees (I am using Ordinator). I have an armor rating of 241 (never found better pieces currently, no armor enchant), and I have a 33-damage mace (Ebony I think) with a 12 point static shock enchant. I am playing on Adept difficulty and I am getting wrecked in most dungeons. I am currently doing the first Companion dungeon, and right after entering the second portion (Dustman's Crypt), I get 5-6 enemies on me, something like 2 level 25 and 2 level 14 (+ others), and I am just getting destroyed, and Farkas does not help the slightest because he is getting wrecked like me. If I don't block, I am getting 2-shots by the level 25 enemies, and even if I block I am getting tons of damage. Low-level enemies still do a ton of damage to me. On the contrary, my attacks do very little damage to the high level enemies. I had similar issues earlier on within Brittleshin pass with tons of necromancer and skeletons... I don't think I have any mods that would alter the difficulty drastically... I have some issues with Immersive Creatures that spawns lvl 55+ enemies, but these are different... Does the above scenario look normal to you on Adept difficulty? Is is just me that should play differently (or lower the difficulty)? Or should I look a bit closer into my mods?
  4. Hi everyone, I am using Immersive Armors with CBBE Bodyslide presets (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/22382?tab=bugs) and I have issues with the « Spellbinder » armors that show invisible arms in first person view. After digging a bit through SSEEdit, I found out that this armor has a custom first person model (included in the Immersive Armors BSA). I tried to compare the ESP entries between the ESP from the original Immersive Armors and the ESP from the CBBE presets version, but the only difference is that « Weight slider - Female (sorted) » is enabled in the CBBE version. Any idea how to fix this? Or any clue on what I should look for? The CBBE version works fine with armors that have custom first person model that are include in Vanilla Skyrim (e.g., Witchplate which uses first-person model from « beggarclothes »).
  5. So I switched to novice difficulty to kill the vampires in Whiterun, and then switched back to Adept difficulty. I went on with the thieve guild quest, and in the ruin for the "Speaking with Silence" quest, I encountered a Draugr Death Overlord... I am level 25, and I had a very hard time beating him, but I with the help of Mercer Frey and my flame atronach I managed to kill him. Then I went back to Whiterun... for another vampire attacks. Again, 2 dead hounds, 2 vampire thralls, 1 master vampire, I switch to novice difficulty: the whiterun guard gets one shot (one shot!) by the vampire master...I can kill the hound or the vampire master quite easily but...the vampire thralls are two-shoting me.... in Novice difficulty, that seems so wrong...I know I am wearing light armor which is not made to tank, but Novice difficulty, two shots by random vampire thralls, that does not seem right. I am open to any advice - Maybe I am simply under geared for my level...?
  6. You mean Skyrim's setting? I was playing in Adept difficulty as mentioned, but I have now switched to apprentice to check the difference.
  7. So I just started a new character on Skyrim after having not played for a while (like 2 or 3 years... ), and I found my game very very hard (compared to what I remember)... so I was wondering if I did something wrong with my mods or my character? Basically, I was doing the quest "Scoundrel's Folly", and I found the bandits (outlaw / highwayman / plunderer) in the grotto very hard to beat: I get three shots by a highwayman / plunderer, with any weapon (swords, axes, bows... ).I do almost no damage with my dagger / swords to them (I'd say about 5% of their life per hit), or with my bow, and my sneak shot with are ridiculous (almost like a normal shot... I tried with skill levels of 100 in sneak and bow, with the sneak multiplier in the sneak tree, and it was a bit better but still not very high)....but if I conjure a flame atronach (my lowest magical skill... ), he kills them pretty quickly...After the quest, I went back to Whiterun in the middle on the night, and got attacked by vampires... Like 2 hounds, 1 vampire thralls and two master vampires, and I can't do a thing! The guards got killed almost instantly, without doing any damages to the vampires, and I get 3 shots by the master. I don't remember the game being that hard the last time I played (was a while ago), so I was wondering if I did something wrong with my mods or with my skills? I leveled mostly by doing thieve guild stuffs, so maybe I should have level my combat skills a bit more? Information on my playthrough (what I think is relevant): I am playing a thieve/mage assassin character, on Adept difficulty, and I am currently level 23 with the following stats/stuffs: 160 armor (lights) - bosmer torso + thieve guild armor;dagger (18 atk, no enchant), sword (28 atk no enchant);skills (I am using ACE):destruction 37 (3 points: half magicka for novice/apprentice, + dual casting)conjuration 16 (0 points)one-handed 55 (2 points)archery 32 (0 points)light-armor 41 (3 points)sneak 43 (2 points: x6 dagger)I have the following mods impacting gameplay / difficulty: Bug fixes: USLEEP / Cutting Room FloorAthyra's Comprehensive Enhancements (ACE) - I already had this one on my latest playthrough.Ultimate CombatDual Wield ParryingApocalypse - Magic of SkyrimMysticism - The Lost ArtSneak ToolsRealistic AI Detection (+ ELFX)
  8. The room in the Been and Barn inn is messed up... In particular, the table is above the bed. I checked the following entry in TES5Edit : Cell / Block 1 / Sub-Block 5 / RiftenBeeandBarb ...and I saw the following mods: FalskaarUSLEEPELFXRRR3DNPCELFXEnhancerRRR_ELFX-PatchHelgen RebornSoS - CivilizationEMCompViljaSkyrimInconsequential NPCsExcept for USLEEP, ELFX and RRR, I don't really see why these mod would modify furniture in that room. I tried disabling RRR, and everything went back to normal (i.e. small room without the bugged table), so I am guessing this is a conflict between RRR and one of the other mods. I tried to disable all these mods but RRR and USLEEP, but the "bug" is still there... I would look through the mods with CK if I could but unfortunately I cannot get CK to work with MO... And I am not good enough with TES5Edit to understand what has been changed by which mod.
  9. I just checked and local gamesaves where deactivated, so still not working... :(
  10. Yes I am launching CK through MO. I will try to create a custom profile with disabled local saves. Yes, mods are enabled on both side - The game works perfectly with the same profile, only CK does not see the mods.
  11. Yes, all mods (~200) are activated in MO, but I only see the standard .esm files in Creation Kit (Skyrim / Update / Dragonborn / HearthFires / Dawnguard / HighResTexturePack).
  12. Hi everyone, I cannot get Creation Kit to see the mods installed through Mod Organizer, even when launching it through Mod Organizer with "correct" options. Up to now, I did the following (found here and here... ) : check that "Overwwrite Stream AppID" is checked and set to 202480added "bAllowMultipleMasterLoads=1" to my SkyrimEditor.iniThe Creation Kit entry in the MO executable list was automatically created by MO. If anyone has suggestion regarding that issue, I'll be glad to hear them  Thanks!
  13. Hi everyone, First excuse my english, I'm a poor French student! I know there are a lot of topics about issues with the Dual Sheath Redux mod, but I did not find any with the same problem I have. Some times ago, I "uninstalled" the Dual Sheath Redux mod using the SkyUI mod configuration window (ingame), but know, I can't reinstall it ! I tried to remove the mod from the game and add it again but it changed nothing... When I go to the SkyUI mod configuration window, I see the "Reinstall" button under the Dual Sheath Redux page, but when I click "Reinstall", it just says "Close the window to start reinstalling.", then nothing happen... (even if I close the window). Thanks for your help!
