You are not doing anything wrong, i got similar problem. Been playing DAI for a lonmg time and modding was 1 minute job, but now nothing is working anymore. Tried both Mod Manager & Frosty - different localizations, different mod set-up, re-install game, repair game, checking set-up files, trying to load just 1 mod from the start - nothing. I am out of ideas.
