  1. Not sure if this is too late but for anyone looking for a mod like OP describes this is the closest thing I could find
  2. Found it. Turns out Visible Galaxy 4k and Framework was the culprit; I forgot not all mods have .esp 's so I didn't bother checking off the modlist on the first round. Woops
  3. I can't find any other way of uninstalling True Storms other than disabling the .esp. Should I just leave it uninstalled and let the scripts run their course? Also, I failed to mention this in the OP, but my game doesn't crash within interiors that have no lighting effected by outside. This means being in areas like Vault 95 or after 8 PM won't crash my game because I assume the ambient lighting inside isn't affected by the outside time.
  4. So this started about 3 days ago when the ctd's started. At first, I thought it was due to overexerting FO4, but after I looked at the clock I noticed the time. Here's what I have done so far: - Disabled all my mods in my load order in Mod Organizer - Verified integrity of game cache - Deleted the Data folder and reinstalled it (I thought the night-sky textures were corrupted or something) Note: The game was crashing earlier than 8 PM when using True Storms' early sunset, however, I didn't get the time it crashed. I know for a fact it has to do with the night cycle, as I have used the command "set timescale to 0" to freeze time to test and lo and behold, I wouldn't crash when I'd crash on an earlier save. It started after I stopped using FROST Survival Simulator, so maybe that has something to do with it if someone has had a similar problem after using FROST. Appreciate any info
  5. At this point, should I just completely reinstall skyrim & mod organizer i.e. reinstalling all my mods via the nexus?
  6. In my Mod Organizer\profiles: skyrimprefs.ini: [Grass]b30GrassVS=1fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000.0000fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0000fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=7000.0000 and skyrim.ini [Grass]bAllowCreateGrass=1bAllowLoadGrass=0iMinGrassSize=40fGrassFadeRange=10000iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=7
  7. In the C:\Users\(my name)\Documents\My Games\Skyrim folder I have these lines in Skyrim.ini: [Grass]bAllowCreateGrass=1bAllowLoadGrass=0iMinGrassSize=40fGrassFadeRange=10000iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=7 And these lines in SkyrimPrefs.ini [Grass]b30GrassVS=1fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0000fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=7000.0000 I doubt that because 1) I don't have a mod that does that and 2) even when I disable all my mods, the grass is still gone Guess i'll check out that bash patch
  8. Specs: OS - Windows 7 Disk Drives - Samsung SSD 850 EVO 1 TB - Generic HDD 1 TB GPU - NVIDIA Geforce GTX 970 - IntelĀ® HD Graphics 4400 CPU - Intel Core i3-4150 TL:DR My game will ctd on load or new save with or without mods, and when I do get in game the grass is gone ;( So, about 2-3 days ago, after installing Dual Sheath Redux, my grass disappeared. I check my .ini's, and everything seemed to check out. I shrugged it off when I realized I didn't patch the game, since I figured the whole no grass thing would be fixed then. However, since I was using an older version of MO (1.2.11(?)), it couldn't properly patch, since the Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp wasn't Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp (something about esp's being treated as esm's?), so there were missing masters. After updating MO to 1.3.11, everytime I tried to load, Skyrim would ctd, and even when I disabled all my mods except RealVision ENB, my grass is still missing, and RealVision isn't even functional ingame. I have tried: - Verifying Integrity of Game Cache - Re-installing Skyrim - Downgrading MO to 1.3.8 Any help would be greatly appreciated
  9. I think I fixed it. Updating the drivers seems to have done the trick, to anyone who has come to this thread for help
  10. My SkyrimPres.ini was already set like that: sD3DDevice="AMD Radeon HD 7770" ? This setting in ENBLocal.ini forces DX to use the second adapter, which would likely be the discrete card, while "0" would be the integrated chip. There seems to be 2 enblocal.ini files: one in the game file with TESV.exe and one in the Realvision ENB file. I tried both and it didn't seem to work. EDIT: I just noticed that there are 2 SkyrimPrefs.ini files as well: one in Documents/My Games/Skyrim and one in steamapps/Skyrim/Skyrim. What's more, the SkyrimPrefs.ini in My Games has more Display options, including the sD3DDevice, where the SkyrimPrefs.ini in the sub-folder of the main game files doesn't have this option. Is it suppose to be this way?
  11. There's Good news and Bad news Good news: The problem is the ENB; I disabled Realvision and I was able to get ingame :) Bad news: I'm using an AMD graphics card (AMD Radeon HD 7770 to be exact), so the fix you suggested shouldn't work; Thanks though Anyone know of any sort of AMD Control panel that can accomplish the same task as the Nvidia Control panel?
  12. Ok, I've reinstalled the game (while keeping my Data folder untouched), but that didn't appear to be the issue. I set both skse_loader.exe and TESV.exe to Windows 7 Compatibility Mode & always run as administrator and that appears to have fixed it. EDIT: So i can get to the menu of skyrim, but when i try to load a save, skyrim crashes after about 1-2 mins of loading; no error messages, nothing. Just straight back to the desktop. I did also try this without any mods (excluding Realvision ENB) on a fresh save with the prisoner, but I had the same result, although the time between loading and crashing was noticeably faster (~30 sec).
  13. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by this; Do you mean optimising my ini files? Or is there a specific file you're talking about. No luck.
  14. I'm not really sure what to make of this, but no matter what mods i have install, when i start skyrim with SKSE through mod organizer, skyrim opens in a small window in the upper left-hand corner of the screen briefly, then crashes. I have done the following: -verified the game cache integrity -ensured no load order issues -ran skyrim WITHOUT mods I don't know where to proceed from here since mods don't appear to be the issue, but rather with the game and/or system itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
