  1. Okay here's the stuff from the ini's along with my system specs System specs Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini
  2. Hey there, I recently got kinda random CTD's though they mainly occur when changing cell as well as sometimes being stuck in loading screen (minor nuisance). I'm using Wrye Bash and BOSS and none of them shows me any conflicting mods though it sure started to happen after I installed a second batch of mods (most notably Interesting NPC's, Grass on Steroids, changing to Lanters of Skyrim MCM Special Edition) I run everything with Project ENB (using .0132 ENB series) but that improved my performance. I use the texture pack combiner and some other graphical mods mostly recommended by STEP. Here's my complete modlist Any help is appreciated, cheers
  3. Through ENB. But it happened coupled with the driver update to 12.10 and I never had any idea it might be driver related. I made a complete clean install but it only changed after I rolled back with my graphics driver.
  4. Just to let you know and if anoyne else might have some similar problem in the future: The culprit was ambient occlusion. Never figured it could actually be something like ambient occlusion :/
  5. I think I only use WATER itself and some patches to make it work with other mods. My next try will be without any kind of texture mods to see if I can get it to work properly. If I recall correctly I unflagged ATI Tesselation, changed some values about Anti-Aliasing so that it just adds 2x Morphological AA to Skyrims own settings and well I can't remember the last thing right now. I will report back when I tested without any water textures.
  6. I already tried it without ENB and SKSE and also disabled all water relating mods. Without ENB it is more apparent that with it and anything else didn't change much. What made the transparecy a bit better was chaning some values in Catalyst. Any idea of problems ATI graphic cards may have with Skyrim?
  7. Hey there, after a recent new setup of my Skyrim installation and (for the first time) using TexturePackCombiner I get very clear/transparent water up close to my character. Water in the distance is completely fine. As you can see I am using an ENB series (.119) and several other texture packs/mods one of them being WATER by OpticShooter. Any idea on what may cause this problem as I never have experienced anything alike before.
  8. New content for PC: Dragonborn New Content for PS3: Dawnguard or Hearthfire or both or even Dragonborn Both would be "new" for the respective platforms
  9. I get completely random CTD's after updating to 1.8. Can't post load order right now (not at home) but I had no problems with my 115 or whatever mods running before the update.
  10. So since updating to Windows 7 on my new PC I am unable to install MGSO 3.0. It worked fine under Win XP but now everytime I want to run the installation it freezes during Morrowind Graphics Extender config. I can set up a manual config just fine but everytime I try to run it MGEGui won't work and the whole installer freezes. Tried it several times now each time with a proper clean version of Morrowind (GotY Steam version). I changed all the applications in the Morrowind folder to administrator mode. Problem is now, it seems the installer has problems with installing the proper distant land files because everytime a small window pops up telling me that the installer found old distant land files (which can't be) and the next moment everything related to the installer or options menu freezes. Hope you guys have some ideas what's going wrong. Here's the MGE XE log. Since only the MGE part of the installation fails and everything else is installed I tried to install it seperately via NMM but it still doesn't work.
