  1. So, I recently had to reinstall windows, I did a fresh install of Oblivion along with it, deleted everything. Went about reinstalling everything, using Wrye Bash's BAIN for 99% of things (Darnified UI and QTP being the only things I didn't use it for). Sorted with LOOT (Of which I'm getting 0 errors for), Bashed Patch and all.. Except I'm getting some rather odd behavior, nor can I start a new game. 1. When loading to the main menu, it'll get past the intro movies, but while its loading into the main menu, it'll freeze at 1% loaded for about 10 seconds, let ENB info pop up, then it'll switch into a ingame loading screen, and no ENB info on the main menu. 2. HUD Status bars says it does not detect an ini, even though it most certainly is there. 3. Getting an odd white screen after I hit new game, of which my HUD pops up on, and then it begins going through mod popups as if I just finished creating my character, all while there's a white background against the main menu. 4. At this point, one of 2 things happens. Either it finishes asking me about mods, then begins loading, to which it'll get 99% of the way through, sound stops, then CTD. Or, it'll get 99% of the way through, then return to main menu. Help would be greatly appreciated, it's difficult to just go with the "turn 5 off and try again" route with this, given how much of it requires compatibility patches, it's all very interwoven. I've no idea what to do at this point, I was very careful with everything, yet it still seems broken, and not in any way I've seen before. Not just a crash on startup, not a crash when entering a cell, just.. A very broken new game button. (And yes, it worked before without mods, I tried on my fresh install just to make sure, it worked fine, so it's definitely a mod issue.)
  2. I'm quite baffled as to what's going on, but, enemies scaling seems entirely broken. In the same dungeon there's level 25's standing next to level 1's, there's 18's in the middle, and I'm level 2. I don't have any sort of mods that I'm aware of that should be effecting the enemy level scaling.. especially in such an inconsistant manner. It's frustrating as it's making things near unplayable, these 25's are one shotting me with bows that nearly auto-aim, so, I'm quite frustrated and stuck. Any help would be appreciated.   3. Since the last update, bodyslide/CBBE hasn't seemed to work right. Or, well, I think it's more so CBBE. Bodyslide works, and fits the armour to what the body SHOULD be. But CBBE is doing nothing, nor is bodyslide actually changing the body. All I want is to fit the damn armours to my characters body, not even using any fancy preset, it's just vanilla set to 8% (I'd just use vanilla but mod armours don't seem to like vanilla body, so then my bags and such wouldn't fit). Any ideas how to fix this? Bodyslides adjusting the armours right, but doing nothing to the body, using a CBBE preset has 0 effect (and I'm thinking CBBE just isn't doing anything, given I tried all the presets, nude/nevernude, all of which were just same vanilla body with same vanilla undies). Help would be appreciated, it's not just minor clipping, that I could deal with, but all the armours horribly inside the character, which just looks awful.
  4. That's the thing, I'm unsure what file to edit in fo4edit, I can't find a simple 10mmpistol.wav or something. Each weapon has a category, 3~ layers, reload, couple other things..No idea which one if any I'm soppoused to modify I have noticed weapons themselves having a "sound level", but that seems to be listed as "low, normal, ???", not a specific number. Edit: Downloaded Audacity, increasing the DB doesn't seem to do anything..Maybe I'm increasing it wrong? Maybe that's just a preview thing and I'm not actually editting? It's loud as heck in the editor but ingame it doesn't sound different at all. Edit2: Tried going into effects and boosting it, still don't seem to be getting any change ingame..
  5. I'd like to make a mod to double/triple the db of weapon sounds, though I haven't the faintest idea how to actually go about doing this. Is it possible in the GECK or FO4Edit? Or do you need some specific tool? If so, what tool would be needed, and how would you go about doing it? I imagine it wouldn't take more then 3 minutes for anyone with the know-how, but I have no idea how to go do this :c It's not urgent, but help would be appreciated. I tried looking about in FO4Edit, found sound categorys which sounded like that'd be it, though increases that didn't seem to do anything, and it was capped at 1.00000, so I'm guessing that was the completely wrong thing to be editting. There were also sound files for each weapon but that didn't seem like it either, or at least, I had no idea which one to edit, because each weapon had a good 5-6 related to it (2-3 layers, grouped thing, reload etc.), and that didn't seem like the right way to go about it given how inefficient that'd be to need to edit 100's of things, half of which I don't know what they even do. Anyway, help would be appreciated. Heck, if it is easy it'd be great if someone did it already, but that's just hoping for the best, I'm fine with someone just tellin me how to go about doing it.
  6. For some reason, of which i am stumped, the main menu never comes up. The background does, music plays and all that jazz, never crashes, just the main menu buttons and the cursor never show up. And before you come in here yelling "It's a missing master!", nope, I've checked manually, through wrye flash, through FOMM, through LOOT, and through FNVedit. There's no missing master, at all. When I DID have a mission master, of which I removed, the game just crashed instantly. Now that I've resolved all that, it just sits at the main menu, never goin through. Update: Removed NVAC just to test, exact same results, so again, no, not a missing master, and no NVAC shenanigans simply hiding a master error. Update 2: Tried purging menu folder to no avail, so not a mess up in installing menu stuff. SOLVED...Issues 1-2..: When all else fails, keep enabling until something breaks. WMX-DLCMerged.esp was corrupt, deleting and reinstalling it fixed the problem. Feel free to archive or what have you the post incase anyone else ends up havin' a similar issue in the future. Maybe save em some time. Nevermind~ Update 3: And now it crashes right after the intro cinematic after hitting new game, it gets all the way through it, then crashes after the post-cinematic load. Update 4: Not sure whether to be pleased or p***ed, it's either a problem with a file, or with the base game running on windows 10. Still crashed with all mods disabled. U5: Stumped until help arrives. If it was a mod issue I could eventually solve it on me own. No idea what to do since it seems to be the base game..I'll got the weapon texture pack/NMC installed if that makes much difference to the crashing.. U6: Rolling Nvidia drivers back to June 7th fixed it.
  7. Checked Oblivion - Meshes.bsa for creatures/dog, still no skeleton.nif.

So, I'm trying to replace a wolfs model with a foxes (long story short, mod adds transformation ability to wolf, want to replace that with fox), I know I'm doing it right as i did it fine on the last creature, but now I can't because..There is no skeleton the damn fox model actually needs. In the fox creatures form, it refers to meshes/dog/skeleton.nif, WHICH DOES NOT EXIST. I've tried simply using the wolves skeleton, invisible creature. Tried just renaming a random .nif into skeleton.nif for m/dog/, resulted in CTD on game load. I tried simply using one of the so called "universal" skeletons, simply resulted in a CTD upon transformation. Any help would be appreciated, I'm stumped as to what to do. On the bright side I can't even use the wolf/fox form until later, but hopefully this can be resolved before then. Thanks in advance.
  9. Any mods out there that make casting like in Morrowind or Skyrim where you need to actually take the spell out, not just quick cast it while holding a weapon?
  10. Couldn't find a fix and no one seems to be responding, so just decided to remove morrowind rebirth, that fixed everything. Surprised removing it didn't break everything lol
  11. Alright, back at it again with another bug report/Request for assistance. Since installing Morrowind Rebirth there have been many seams in the world, such as in Balmora (no it's not just Balmora, pelagiad was even worse). Objects aren't lining up properly with the world either, such as towers being half underground, benches fully underground, plants floating..Most doors seem to be doubled up as well, having the normal door and an alternative locked one ontop of each other. Maybe Morrowind Rebirth isn't causing it, but it didn't happen until installing it. The odd thing is there's no issues when looking at it in the CK, so I'm guessing there's some mod conflict going on, or maybe I installed it improperly? I am running MGSO as well (plugins that come with it being properly updated as needed), so perhaps that's causing issues? Any help would be appreciated.   13. So I'm getting an error, if anyone has any ideas what's causing it. Edit - I'm suspecting better clothes tribunal, but I cannot for the life of me find a download of it to reinstall it. Any help? the mw modhistory link seems to be broken..
