Umm...I don't think its that. Those seem a bit smaller. This mod was pretty interactive. You could actually chop wood and make a fire out in the woods. I am talking about the size compared to those you find at the giant camps.

So last week I came across this mod, don't recall the name. But this person was actually chopping wood from trees and bushes and building those exact giant fires found near giant camp sites, you know the ones I am talking about right? Well the fire would diminish in size every few hours. I can't recall the mod and was wondering if anyone has come across it or knows what I am talking about?

Skyrim Legendary Edition comes with all the DLCs included. There is no way you can exclude it. However, if you plan on not playing the 2 DLC you can simply uncheck Dawnguard, Heartfire and Dragonborn in the Data section. However, if you just don't want to buy them cause you already own the DLC, then I can't help you. Its pretty much comparable to the Oblivion GOTY Edition though they have not called it.

Forgive me if I have misunderstood you but your main problem seems to be that you didn't disable helgen reborn and you want to create a new character but keep your current progress? Not sure if that is do able other than the mod someone already mentioned above. But really you are only level 6. Don't really think that is a lot. BTW, just curious how did you get your skills that high while only level 6?

I am sorry but I am not very good with computer techinical terms or how hardware works. Would you care to elaborate how it would work? I currently run Skyrim with a 1680 x 1050. Would it mean lowering it down to 1400 x 900 or something along those lines?

I can't really tell if it is a lot faster. But the last entire week I just had a hard time logging in or downloading any mods. I would often get the 502, 504 gateway error. And when I did get access to the website, I couldn't log into my account to download the mods. I finally manage to get done this Sunday. It was much better for quite a long time. However, it started slowing down earlier today. Guessing its the increase in traffic and activity on the site.

Well RP is basically playing from your character's point of view. So your first step is giving your character some back ground or story. Its important to give your character some kind of personality. This will define all his or her future actions. Its often easier when you have some kind of structure to start of with. To be honest there is no proper way to roleplay. Everyone role plays differently. Its often times what works for you and how serious you want to take it. I've known people that take their RP very seriously. Like someone playing a Khajit never ventured into Whiterun during the day; they would only enter Whiterun during the nights since the nords are not very welcoming of Khajits. Or someone that sticks to having 3 meals a day and sleeping for a minimum of 7 hours. Some will not have a weapon equipped inside a city or capital. Some even change their apparel from their armour into something more appealing like garments or other modded vestments. The common ones are mostly no fast travelling from one place to another. But the best way personally is to play the game through your character. Don't choose options or make decisions the way you would have. Do it the way your character would have. This is very personality comes into play. Is he going to be a bad guy or the good guy or the wanderer or the lone ranger, etc. Then having some kind of background story helps you too. So lets say, if you have a Nord Warrior, you want to focus on the Companions. Most will stay away from the College of Winterhold or anything to do with magic. That means no use of magic. I enjoy RP, but I am not a very hardcore RPer.

I can't really say I've had any problems with the Companions quest chain. I've had around 6+ saves on new characters and I've never had a problem with the Companions. However, the Dark Brotherhood is a totally different thing altogether. I've had 3 bugged quest chains out of 6 saves and the I didn't even attempt it on one of my saves. So that is like 3 out of 5 which is simply horrible. The first one I just wouldn't get the letter after starting the quest chain; the 2nd time there were no quests available after joining the Brotherhood. Astrid or the other guy wouldn't give me any quests. 3rd time my horse got bugged and I couldn't find him again. I've been told that the unofficial skyrim patch conflicts with the Dark Brotherhood. Don't know how true it is.

Oh I love them. I sure do. Its just that I don't really like downloading tooo many MODS at least not until I've managed to complete the game for the first time the way the devs intended to. I have not even managed to do that cause of the bugged DB quests. So you mentioned that you had to restart. Did you game bug on the 2nd attempt? P.S I think the Skyrim Unofficial MOD is giving most people a hard time. Just got a couple responses regarding that MOD. Will probably get rid of that first.

LoL. I know that. I just hate changing the game too much. I prefer enjoying the game the way the developers wanted us to enjoy it. Most of my mods are mostly things that the devs would probably have done or could have done if they had more time. P.S So you mentioned you as well had the same problem? What did you end up doing?

However, I had to restart cause I put points in random trees which didn't really make sense and since you couldn't reset your trees I went and started a new save. On my second run, I simply was not contacted by the DB after "Innocence is Lost" even after 3 weeks of in game time. So I proceeded to my third save. So this time every thing is running perfectly until "Mourning never comes". I completed my initial 3 quests that were given to me by Nazeem; however, now that I have completed them I can't seem to find any other quests or contracts to proceed. If I remember correctly from my first run, I received "Mourning never comes" on returning to the sanctuary immediately from AStrid. I was wondering on the other hand does having too many mods impact quests in the game and cause it them to bug some how? Cause right now this is getting really frustrating. The mods that I am currently using are: Cloaks in Skyrim Lively inns and taverns Glowing Ore Veins W.A.T.E.R Flora and Fauna Improved Blood Textures Skyrim unofficial patch
