  1. I am trying to get a clear complexion on my female V's face, but no matter what I am stuck with those ugly freckles along her cheeks and nose. I am using Spawn00000's body shape mods and their textures. I have also tried using some other complexion modes (Ava's and Koralina's) both with and without Spawn's textures - but none of this made any difference, the freckles remained. I have blemishes set to "off" in the character creator and I have rotated through all 5 skin types. Any ideas? I am looking to have the lovely clear complexions I see in screenshots. Thanks, Eric
  2. The save editor mod was never updated to work with patch 1.5. So...what options do I have for editing save game files now? Thanks, Eric
  3. My NMM works perfectly for Oldrim and FO4 - however I finally decided to make the switch from Oldrim to SE and I am running into a bizarre issue when trying to install SE mods through NMM. It will only install files in the main data folder. Any files that belong in sub files are not copied over - NMM will create the sub folders, but they are empty of files. I am running the most recent version of NMM. Any ideas? Thanks, Eric
  4. I am not sure how others find these sections of the game, but the 2 spots where you have to play as Johnny Silverhand and not your character bore the heck out of me. If I were able to skip by these sections, it would greatly improve my enjoyment of the game. Thanks, Eric
  5. I hit the bug where one of the recipes (Xtreme) did not appear. Now I am unable to complete this last achievement. Is there a workaround for this? I tried using the console to add the recipe directly to inventory and tried having it spawn at my feet. Neither of these options cause Xtreme to show up once I enter the Soda machine however. Barring a workaround - anyone have a save file for this achievement? Thanks much, Eric
  6. I am relatively new to the CS, but I know my way around a little bit. With that said, how does one go about making a set of shoes work with the Vipcxjs high heel system? Scripts are one of hte areas were I am new, and if I try to add the scripts to my new shoe, it keeps coming back with errors when I re-load the mod in CS. (and yes, I have the Vipcxjs esp file checked :P ) Thanks, Eric
  7. I have tried using the regular and the CB++ bodyslide - and they have no effect on my character in Skyrim - it seems whatever body type I selected when installing the CBBE body is the one that stays. (and I selected custom) I have located the meshes in meshes/actor/character/character assets - then took the new nifs the bodyslide created and manually put them there, but to no avail. But I know these meshes are doing something, because if I remove them, my character has the default body with underwear - so why do the meshes not affect my character's appearance? In addition, the breasts bounce just fine when wearing clothes, but not when nude. Thanks, Eric
  8. The ENB version I have downloaed uses depth of field. I don't like it, the mountains and such in the distance keep going back and forth from blurry to clear, and it drove me nuts. No problem, I hit shift-enter and unchecked depth of field. However, I have to do this every time I launch Skyrim. Is there any way to make this change permanent? Eric
  9. Is there a master list of all the components that are needed to create the various spells for Midas Magic? The sheer quantity of spells makes it rather cumbersome to keep flipping through the books in game. Thanks, Eric
  10. Thanks everyone for your assistance. I ended up solving my problem last night by snagging an old backup of Oblivion I had and copied everything over from the meshes/characters/_male folder and removing the HGEC OMOD, and extracting the High Rez files to a temp directory and copying them over that way. Eric
  11. one quick question... Where can I find textures for the female Argonian and Khajiit if I am not installing the HGEC body? Kozmo's High Rez textures do not include those 2 races. Eric
  12. Thanks to both of you. I will spend some time tomorrow trying your suggestions and keeping my fingers crossed. And it looks like it is finally time for me to bite the bullet and learn Wrye Bash after all this time modding. Eric
  13. Stupid me corrupted by Oblivion data directory. So, I am reinstalling and I am running into a problem getting the DMRA body to play friendly with the body textures. I am using files that I had working just fine together before. Now it seems like something is causing the meshes to look at or tweak texture files differently. I am using the HGEC OMOD., the HI-Res body and face textures, Growlf's Universal Skeleton, and DMRA BBB meshes. When I install the Hi-Res body textures, Oiled 1 and Oiled 2 look fine, but if I install the Standard skin (my preference) it appears as Oiled 1. But, I have a different DMRA lower body mesh that does not have the bouncing butt - if I use that, the lower body will appear as standard, but the upper body still shows as Oiled 1. In addition - the N'Dwyll race now has the issue with the visible seam down the back due to the texture being slightly different colors on each side of the seam. Again, this exact same file worked just fine before. The N'Dwyll shares the Oil/Standard problem in the above paragraph. If I use the DM (but non RA) meshes that come with the HGEC OMOD the Oil problem goes away, but the N'dwyll still has the seam problem. Any ideas? Thanks, Eric
  14. I had to uninstall a texture mod due to it causing major issues in the game. In order to restore vanilla textures I had to play around with the BSA redirecting and restoring in OBMM. Everything is back to normal except that when I mouse over a door the name of the cell that door leads to no longer appears (though if locked it will still display the difficulty of the lock just fine). Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? Eric
  15. I used to have these 2 mods working just fine together, but I am doing a fresh install and can't get them to play nice together. Any helpful hints? http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/9322 http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/16513 The end result looks like the author's screenshots for the ImpeREAL CitY mod (which is part of Better Cities). http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/19589 In my old install, I never had the esp for Darker Regal in my data folder. But if I toss just the textures for it in, I get no change. So I am forgetting something. Thanks, Eric
  16. I don't know how much longer I can keep going on this game. It is a series of "oh you didn't do this exactly? Well, you're f***ed buddy!" I found out from the Wiki that I was not supposed to sell my salamander badges to the messenger during the "Wanted" quest in act II. Uh, is there any way to find more so I can complete this annoying as hell quest? Eric
  17. Since using the showracemenu command resets all your skills and attributes, I don't want to use that. Is a simple mod that allows me to swap out hair styles mid game? I tried a few searches up came up empty handed. Thanks, Eric
  18. Thanks much. I have never used Wyre Bash, I guess I will to start! Eric
  19. I wish to start a new game, and I have a character from another save game who's appearance is exactly as I want it. I wish to use this character' appearance in a brand new game using a new class, and birthsign, etc. Is there a way to do this? Thanks, Eric
  20. Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I finally solved my problem. The Comprehensive Style Collection (CSC) mod was causing all my issues. I ended up marking the Golden Saint and Dark Seducer as playable in the CSC ESP and everything worked like a charm. Eric
