  1. Been kinda wanting to see if anyone has ever done a good overhaul of skyrim, particularly the UI. I was hoping one with diablo-styled randomized stat armor, maybe the armor screen allowing you to drag and drop items onto a mannequin in the pause screen, etc. Anyone know of anything like this?
  2. I thought this topic was dead! Great, I'll add all these to the OP. Edit: Does anyone know of any ENB's that are configurable with the MCM ingame? Edit: Seems the Skyui developers are updating their page to list the new mods. Never mind then!
  3. Is there somewhere we can go to find mods that support/are planning to support SkyUI's MCM? I would really like to know what mods have planned/implemented this, and I hope all of the major mods implement them by default. (Like SkyRe, though I'm sure that'll take a while.) List of known mods that support MCM. SkyUI (herp) Interactive HUD Dynamic Muscle Growth Deadly Dragons Dual Wield Parry Realistic Needs and Diseases Dance of Death - A killmove mod Wet and Cold Hypothermia - Frostfall Player Headtracking Save Hot Key ArchMod (SKSE version) Predator Vision Edit: It occured to me that maybe SkyUI should have a discussion topic on their mod page about MCM support and have mod authors post their MCM-enabled mods there. Might be worth the effort.
  4. >That moment when you realize your life is so boring that you'd willingly watch two skyrim npc's duke it out for more than 20 seconds.
  5. Is there a mod, similar to Eyes of Beauty, that replaces the ugly derpy eye meshes with better ones? The default eyes just look so awful, and doing a popularity search for eyes didn't yield any results that looked promising. (30 pages of mods is a lot to look through.)
  6. So basically, if I want to enjoy my character alteration mods, I should disable them, run to an interior cell, open the Showracemenu, then make my character there? It's actually quite a reasonable conclusion, I had just assumed that vanilla hair contributed to some slowdown and that getting rid of it would allow me to use my mods as normal. Since it does not affect my VRAM issues, I'll just make a save shortly after helgen and edit my character from there. Thanks for the feedback, this helped me quite a bit. I also might look into getting a lower-res version of Apachii. Thanks for clarification on Apachii's gender btw. Edit: Yeah I don't use any of those either. Just the apachii NPC overhaul, downloadable on her mods page.
  7. I personally dislike MLP (Though it sure has some amazing dubstep) but even I get the point. The point is to take this awesome game, and make it into something else. That's the point of a mod. Lore-Friendly stuff is more my style, but if someone converted Skyrim into, say, Kingdoms of Amalur, nearly completely, I'd play the s*** out of that mod, just to see what they had done. If they made skyrim into pacman, I'd play that one too, because that's what mods do, they enhance or alter the game to make it more fun or more unique or even just wacky. If something doesn't fit, just don't play it and be glad the creator has more free time than you to make silly little mods for their personal hobbies. I know I'm a bit jealous of those people.
  8. Hey there, I have what should be a somewhat simple request. I use Apachii's skyhair, the most popular hair mod, but I've noticed that hair mods in particular tend to crash skyrim. After further deduction and some creative googling, I found that usually this is due to VRAM issues, loading too much makes the game crash, etc. If I were to use his NPC Overhaul mod that makes all NPC's use his hair instead of vanilla, and all mods I installed (Such as follower mods) used apachii skyhair, then I should theoretically be able to just get rid of vanilla hair, and hopefully prevent CTD's when I start a new game. (I noticed that using "showracemenu" when you're a bit more into the game usually doesn't crash it, so that's an alternative too.) So my question is, how do I get rid of vanilla hair, and by doing so will that help me with VRAM issues? Edit: Also I'm really loving using this mod, which is even more taxing than normal on the showracemenu. It's another reason I want to eliminate the ugly vanilla hair.
