  1. Does anyone have any idea where in the game files the parameter to enable/disable the critical hit slow motion effect might be? In DL1, in Data0.pak/data/skills/, there's an XML file named "default_levels" with a parameter named "SlowMoProbability". You can set it to "0" and it will completely disable slow motion. That same parameter is in DL2, located in Data0.pak/scripts/player/player_variables.scr, but setting it to "0" doesn't seem to have any effect. I still get slow motion on critical hits (and when you're high level, it happens pretty damn often). I really dislike the slow mo effect. For me personally, it breaks immersion and severely interrupts the flow of combat. Would love to be able to disable it all together.
  2. Same thing's happening to me with the 1.2.20 update. This pretty much makes the check for updates function useless. I reported it through vortex.
