  1. I'm getting the same issue. I don't know who to tell about it either.
  2. Ok, first of all I'm running about thirty mods nothing compared to some I've read about on here but apparently at least one of them is causing some sort of issue as my character is walking around in a permanent squatting position and I can no longer make her go into sneak mode. Other than this my game runs fine. I'd appreciate any input on the subject folks can give. Thanks
  3. One of my very favorite mods for Oblivion is Falling Stars http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/35593 I would love to have this ported over to Skyrim would anyone know how to do this. I am proving to be useless when it comes to trying to use the creation kit myself. I'd appreciate any help or information I can get.
  4. In Fallout 3 I had the moon so large it nearly took up half the sky I'm sure it was a mod that did it but I've been told it can be done another way. I want the same for my New Vegas game but I don't know how to do it can someone help me?
  5. Don't worry Oblivion will be around for a good long time. It's a great game no matter what the complainers say.
  6. I'm pretty die hard when t comes to Oblivion I'll be playing it till it goes the way of Pong even further if I can keep a pc running that will play it. Don't get me wrong. I loved Sky Rim from my first sight of it but it does have it's problems and my pc won't play it anyway so it will be a while till before I can play on a regular basis.
  7. I don't know about anyone else but I'm not about to give up on Oblivion. I loved the game from day one and I'll still keep loving it untill It goes the way of Pong. Even further if I can keep a pc running that will still play it. As for Skyrim I can't play it yet on my own pc. I'm still using a p4 chip and I will definitely have to upgrade but what I'm seeing online in the trailers and such make it look like a great game regardless of bad mechanics and other troubles. I wish the modders luck fixing the many issues I've read about already. Maybe you guys can find a way to make it playable on a p4and save me a few hundred bucks. :) In the meantime I'll keep having my own little adventures in Tamriel and downloading the many new mods I'm sure will still keep coming I hope for a good long time. Enjoy folks while your out there battling dragons. Think of us poorer people out here once in a while even if it is with a grin on your faces. :) Bye for now.
  8. It took six days Tamriel time. Real time, it took me a whole day in between doing other stuff and watching tv and going here and there. I started in Anvil and made my way south along the shore just to see if I could sail one of Sides Sailing Ships to the edge of the map but a few minutes later I noticed I wasn't finding the edge but instead I was heading west and I was off the visible map. I thought, just how far can I go. I had a mod that disabled borders and a random encounter mod that turned out to be a nuisance since I had made it several times more than half way to the other end of the map and once to within sight of Leyawiin and was killed by something that came up from behind. I finally ended up disabling the mod and started once more quick saving along the way. I made it all the way across the southern part of the map and after a short layover in Leyawiin thought what the heck I'll try the north now and made my way to the very top of the map all this time completely off the visible part of the map only aware of where I was going by the sight of the compass. It took longer going the north rout for some reason. There were times when the ship which normally has a constant steady speed would slow down to a bare crawl and the water would disappear from under the ship in huge squares of unfinished world textures the ship then seemingly flying over land. I kept to my experiment quick saving every so often which was a good thing because I once jumped ship just to see if I could swim in this area but I fell through to what seemed like barely textured land beneath and died. I reloaded and made my way on till It seemed I should be at the other end of the map but when I checked the map I had barely made it half way. On I traveled a half hour or longer before I found I'd gone almost to the extreme north west end of the map and the land and water began to look a little more finished. I followed the shore untill at last I made the turn south and east where in the distance I could see my point of departure Anvil. Ok so it's not "Around The World In Eighty Days" but it was a fun little adventure to waste a day with and what the heck I felt as if I'd done something I'd never heard of anyone doing before. Has anyone else tried this?
  9. Oops, I got that mixed up. I thought you were talking about the sundered keep. I just got around to checking out the TESA topic. Looks like the thing will be pretty nice. It seems like allot of the ideas were somewhat like what I had in mind here. Good luck with it and I'll keep my eyes open to see how things go with it.
  10. I just downloaded it last night. I'm having trouble getting past the point where you talk to the woman after killing the messenger. My game crashes every time so I guess I'm gonna have to wait on it but it looks like an awesome mode.
  11. Well It's been too long since I have been online and I see all interest in this has pretty much gone so I'm just gonna let it die with dignity and say good bye till I come up with some other insanity to add to the mix. Thanks to everyone who at least thought the idea worth discussing. What I learned from this is I have one heck of allot to learn before I start letting my daydreams get the better of me. Thanks again and bye for now.
  12. Well, if anyone's still bothering to read this I finally found a flight mod that actually works. It's not an elven sailing vessel but it's lots of fun and it has the distinction of actually making my PC look as if she's flying. now if I can only figure out how to get it to take me to the moon I'll be really doing something. On another subject I actually made my own mod but it only works by chance. I really didn't know what I was doing because when I tried to repeat the same thing with a different idea it bombed big time, almost broke my game. As it is I can't go into Bruma because now it crashes my game and I have no idea if it was something I did or just an incompatible mod and please don't go on about how I should have backed up my game. I did and even after deleting my data folder and replacing it with the back up it still crashes my game every time I try to fast travel to Bruma or enter through the gate and no, I'm not using open cities. As much as I like the idea it's not worth the aggravation. It conflicts with every mod I have and I'm still trying to figure out why Wrye Bash won't work on my pc.
  13. Will do thank you very much. :)
  14. I don't know how to go about doing the CS thing so I'll leave well enough alone. I've downloaded a couple of others but they didn't work. I'll just keep looking.
  15. Ps. I just downloaded "Midas Magic" and checked out the flying carpet in there and all it does is hover just above the ground. I'm still looking for one that truly flies so if you run into anything Give me the heads up if you don't mind. :)
