Click on the NiTriStrips/NiTriShape, then right click-> Transform-> Edit You will notice that your scale is 0.0600 when it should be 1, your rotation for R is 180 when it should be 0. Set them to the right amounts and then load them back up in blender and go from there. You could try the quick and messy was and just hit Transform -> Apply, and then Update All Tangent Spaces. Spells -> Batch -> Update All Tangent Spaces I would suggest you try to redo it in blender though.

Trying to Create "FirstAidKit" Belt/Armor
nivea replied to Lyssinna's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Are you merging the coat and the box into one mesh with just one UV Map, that could be the problem leave them as separate meshes? OR are you making sure you have all the shaders set up correctly, most common issue I see with stuff not showing up is bad shader settings. -
Your Rotation is 180 degrees, you should not use the nifskope transform unless it is for minor stuff imo. So instead of using it to scale your helmet, use blender instead and get rid of all that information including the 180 rotation.

Loose egm files are sometimes ignored? Do you ever see that behavior with other forms of new headgear (say a original hat) and egms too? For hair only, hats and headgear all work but FNV broke the hair egm so they need to be packed in a .bsa to work. Now I do not know if this counts for beards or not since while they are hair they are not in the hair slot.

Make sure you have no mip maps, pretty much all I can say. I edit them all the time, what program are you using?

Well it could be worse, they could be actually into Justin Bieber and sing his songs instead, or into Anime and squealing about their Waifu all the time.... That is worse imo. At least its somthing wholesome and with a good message, so many bad things out there for kids/people to be into now a days. T_T

I do not see why its such a issue, its not more a "nightmare" then all the super skanky female stuff I see.

You need the mesh to be a .NIF not a .Obj, you can then most likely replace the bread correctly. But you also need to make a new .egm if it has any more or less Verts then the old beard.

Untill the kid is hungry again and he chases another rat. Eventially there are no more rats to kill. What then? War never changes. So no matter what I do war never changes. I am sick and tired of hearing this!!!!Enough!!!! I want to be able to actually influence people's lives in the game. Feed the hungry kid.Help those in need. Clear the deathclaws and see caravans resume their way to New Vegas.Atleast that. Now now I just thought you where tired of seeing the kid CHASE the rat, not that you wanted to change his life for the better by giving him a couple caps. What WOULD solve the issue is instead have a orphanage or something (maybe the followers take the kids in) where the kids would be taken care of, because a couple caps is not going to save that kids life he will be hungry again. Also if you give him to much caps he will just be mugged by someone.

Well just means you can not dump all your mods into a mod manager and hope they work. You have to READ about the mods before installing them. Because knowledge is power.

You can kill the rat and then they stop chasing it, but the caps thing is a good idea. I personally made it so one of my Corgi chase after the kid, so its alot more amusing that way lol. flamenx01: OMG that is awesome. XD

Converting Resources from One Game to Another
nivea replied to terrarizing's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Also keep in mind alot of those "resources" are actually based on the vanilla game they are made for, which would make them not legal to release even if you had permission from the modder. -
Fallout NV, NMM and Project Nevada
nivea replied to frostbyte2015's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Discussion
Not use NMM? Why not use FOMM it was made for Fallout and many mods for older games do not work with NMM. -
The real issue, something is wrong with the mesh itself, I think its the vertex colors. If I make the hair into a hat (no color changing) it shows up correctly, but if I add the hair shader and vertex colors it then has the issue. I am afraid this is beyond my abilities as I can not figure out what you did wrong when making the mesh. ): All I can do is give you these: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Porting_hairs_to_Fallout http://niftools.sourceforge.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1287 Almost none of the shaders are correct, you must set them correctly or you will have issues with any mesh you put in game. The best way is to look at the hair shaders from a vanilla hair mesh such as hairbun.nif, you can find the shaders by looking in the BLOCK DETAILS of the BSShaderPPLightingProperty. They are called Shader Flags, click on their drop down menu to toggle things on and off until it matches exactly hairbun.nif. Your NiMaterialProperty needs to be changed as well copy it from hairbun.nif. After doing all that the hair showed up correctly, except the hat which is very very shiny and changes color with the hair. To remove the shine make the hat color closer to BLACK in the normal map alpha channel.

Problems with Meshes
nivea replied to MotokoKHammond's topic in Fallout New Vegas's Mod Troubleshooting
Clothing are different then static meshes like guns, they must be taken in a 3D editing program (such as Blender or 3DMax) and then rigged/weight painted or they will not show up correctly.
