Nexus Mods Profile

  1. Communism, Socialism, Fascism and National-Socialism are "bad words" because they are bad things/ideologies.. every ideology derived from the deranged opium-induced ramblings of Marx and Engels are, de facto, tools for elites to oppress the masses.. whether you call it "democratic Socialism " or "National socialism" it remains the same thing.. systematic oppression of free thought, speech and total control of the population.. to put it very bluntly.. in a Democracy the People (supposedly) own the government.. under socialism/Marxism/Communism/Fascism and so on.. the State owns the people.. that.. is why Communism is a bad word, a bad thing and a danger to free thought and speech everywhere..
  2. DX Necromancer https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/104824
  3. Ah... I am, in fact, using said mod and it is wonderful however.. it allows every Tom, Dick and Harry with even the crudest of improvised weapons to get in my way.. what i need is something more...refined...maybe someway to turn off that ridiculous bounty system (and while we´re at it exclude random animals from same system) or maybe somehow improve the AI of NPC´s ? my "darling" companions/followers have the same tendency to step right in front of my perfectly executed moves.. I could ofcourse, just let those flying Lizards and low-born blood fetischists kill all the bystanders before summarily sending them to their respective Hells but.. what´s the point in being the most devilishly handsome swordsman in the universe without an audience applauding my rakishly handsome self after I´ve dispatched these mild nuisances ?
  4. I am in total agreement here.. it would be nice if you could oust the cretin and take Castle Dawnguard as your own.. maybe even murder those pesky Squatters that do nothing but shoot crossbow bolts at target dummies and otherwise just get in your way ?
  5. So... Recently I´ve returned to skyrim after many an adventure in foreign realms (AKA playing games like ME3, FO4 and so on) and I came to realize or, remember THAT, one thing that persistently annoys the ^beep^ out of me.. Peasants, Rabble, incompetent Guards and useless townspeople getting in my way when Dragons or Vampires decide to kill, maim, burn and destroy.. just for fun and games.. Now, I do not mind that the peasants, rabble and assorted shopkeepers and beggars die.. not my problem and they are useless anyway but.. they GET IN MY WAY!! as in, I casually whip out my trusty Rapier, elegantly move in for the kill on either Vampire or Dragon.. position myself for maximum Elegance and dashing masculinity in the deathstroke.. and then some stinking peasant, incompetent "Guard" or useless shopkeeper rushes in front of me and sullies my fine blade with his/her low-born blood !!! now, it would not mean anything if not for the fact that, apparently it´s a crime to murder the rabble willy-nilly.. and even though the filthy peasant, WILLINGLY and INTENTIONALLY threw Himself/Herself in front of my blade (ruining my dashing performance and letting the target get a chance to breathe in the process).. I STILL, am accused of murder ?? and those pesky Hold "Guards" accost me most rudely and attempt to throw me in jail.. Me.. in jail.. for doing absolutely nothing other than protecting the most valuable thing in all of Skyrim.. namely yours truly.. So... I humbly (snigger) ask if anyone out there know of a mod or have the technical skill to make said peasants, rabble and other assoreted riff-raff NOT get in the way of my blade.. it´s annoying... thank you for your time..
  6. Censorship has been and is, now again.. a tool to suppress inconvenient truths.. whether it is FB, Twatters, Google or any or all MSM it´s just a way of "controlling" peoples mind-sets..I abhor Censorship in any form.. and i detest the "go-to" argument of the radical left that "it´s a privat company so.." no one, absolutely no one should be above the law, whether politicians, companies or individuals.. and the Law, in most Civilized Nations state that Free Speech is guaranteed.. but Censorship abounds these days because prissy miss dizzy and her co-horts ( of both sexes) believe that, one.. words are violence and , two.. that anyone dis-agreeing with any form of utopian and/or bat-crap crazy theory must be silenced because.. some sort of - ism.. the fact is that, Facts are censored and fantastical theories and calls for violence against the "unbelievers" are not.. the followers of "Woke" will not accept fact or reality and therefore, must censor out any semblance of reason coming from any that might question their ideologies.. from St. Greta to the latest child-abusing "trans" theory it´s just wrong, in the minds of the SoMe, the radicals and msm. so all who think "wrong" and all who oppose.. must be censored, doxed and hounded out of SoMe, jobs, carrees and possibly life... TL;DR... Censorship is Fascism is Communism is BAD...
  7. I DID read your post, if you don't use Vortex you sure complain about it a lot. Also, MO2 was written by the same person who is writing Vortex. Clearly he is not doing a very good job.. and again.. Merry Christmas.. I have other things pressing and shall not be back this side of New years...
  8. I'm not sure why you're proud of the fact that you don't understand an easy to use program. LOOT is built in, so you don't NEED to use the Standalone, also, there IS NO NEED TO MANUALLY SORT ANYMORE. If you'd stop trying to force Vortex into being NMM, you'd understand Vortex. It literally takes me about an hour to get a 200+ mod install of Fallout 4, or Skyrim SE up and running. I download all of the mods I want, to the point where the notification says "200 Items", then I install them, one by one. Then, I read any File Conflict errors, click on SHOW, I'm brought to the SET RULES screen, where I tell which Mods to LOAD BEFORE or LOAD AFTER, each other, and I'm done. MUCH Improved over NMM's way of dealing with File Conflicts, which involved Installing Mod A and Mod B and Mod C in a certain order, and if you mess up, you have to uninstall them all, and try again to install them in the correct order. With Vortex I can install Mod A, B, and C in any order I want, as long as I set them to LOAD BEFORE or LOAD AFTER properly, Vortex automatically takes care of resting and overwriting the files for me. There's also the occasional plugin that needs to go to the bottom of the load order, I add it to the "DYNAMIC PATCHES" group, and BAM!! it's at the bottom of my load order, and I'm good to go. I'd seriously like to understand, how you cannot comprehend any of this in the slightest, because your explanations aren't making Vortex look hard to use, and instead are making it look like you can't understand very easy concepts. Your entire problem is the one I listed "Trying to force Vortex to be NMM" Instead of letting Vortex do it's job automatically, you're trying to force an incorrect load order on it. That's why it "Doesn't do what you want", because you're trying to force it to go against the LOOT rules, which just goes to show that you are trying to set up an Incorrect Load Order that goes against LOOT and built in LOOT in Vortex, which means your intended load order would be a BAD and FAULTY load order, and rather than being grateful that you've been prevented from setting up a load order that will lead to CTDs', you instead get mad, and would rather go back to NMM, so you can set up your CTD laden load order without having any annoying warnings about it. Ignorance is truly bliss. If you would care to read my post you would realize that i do not try to force Vortex to be NMM.. I clearly state who would benefit from it and who would not, I use MO2 personally but the gist of my answer to the OP and hence is that i would not recommend Vortex to casual users or those who prefer the NMM UI...And, again, Vortex could be fine if you are so inclined but, If you take the three, Vortex, MO2 and NMM you have MO2 which is excellent for EXPERIENCED users, NMM which is mediocre but good for the casual or beginner.. and then you have Vortex which fluctuates wildly between excellent and somewhat good... Mind you it is my opinion, an opinion the Op asked for, I care not a whiff if anyone heeds my advice, people have different wishes and different approaches to how they like their software (as in everything else) I merely stated an opinion.. I feel this whole debate is running over a cliff because those adamantly in support of Vortex cannot fathom that others might not regard it as the pinnacle of mod-managers, it is reminiscent of protestant missionaries hell-bent on forcing THEIR beliefs on the Heathen Catholics.. the matter of personal choice and likes/dislikes gone with the wind and completely un-acceptable to the "true Believers" .. in this case the staunch defenders of the Holy Vortex.. It is a ridiculous and somewhat annoying debate to have..and all because of My answer not being to the liking of the Inquisition.. well, I refuse to bow to Vortex, if others like it, be my guest, if others like NMM or MO2 or "makemymodsgowoof" manager? so be it.. I do not care.. I simply stated my opinion and i am sorry if I offended your religion but, it is NOT my religion and never will be... be happy with Vortex if that´s what you are and leave others to make their choices based on their experiences and the advice they ask for, STOP being condescending and, for the love of the Holy Virgin, stop deriding people for not having the same skills and experience as you.. with that being said.. I shall continue my preparations for the "Buena Noche" and I wish you a Merry Christmas and a happy new year...
  9. what soul ? between the anit-semites the looney radicals, the Fabians and the "celebrities" I would challenge you to find one soul combined.. Labour, like most Social-Democratic Parties in Europe sold their soul (and their base) in the seventies when they were swamped with Students and radical "intellectuals".. since then It has been a race to the left and now they are at the extreme end of the line where they have joined up with the extreme Right.. Labour is now reminiscent of Herr. Hynkels Party in words and deeds (see Antifa and so forth) there are no workers, there are no shopkeepers and no "average income" representatives or members of the leadership, only University slobs and fanatical Communists.. no wonder their voters left them, imagine being in the same club as those slovenly blobs of hysterical tantrums and greedy Climate-Cultists ? I would revoke my membership too...
  10. What leads you to believe that UK will actually leave the EU? It's already been many years, and UK is no closer to leaving, than they were when these conversations first started. oh,just that Britain leaves on 31 January 2020 and then have a year to negotiate a deal with the fourth reich.. and mr johnson has previously stated that the negotiations will be ended in 2020, with or without a deal..He just got rid of the rubbish remainers and it should be clear sailng from here... but I hesitate to trust him fully I will revisit this thread in February then, after we see if he actually does it, or not. :D I have a rather strong distrust of politicians in general, regardless of what country they are in. I too shall revisit.. Either to lament another deception or, to celebrate the birth of a truthful politician (and no, Trump does not count, He is truthful and keeps his promises but, He is not a politician).. Have a Merry Christmas and a splendid New Year...
  11. I would suggest the Op to consider his/Her priorities and then take a good, hard look at reality.. I have limited Bandwidth and just burned out my Gaming computer (actually the damn Cat peed on it) and until I have a new one up and running I make do with limited gaming and thus, limited download speed, when I resume normal gaming I will resume Premium membership because I will need it then..in other words, if you want the best service ? pay up buddy boy
  12. like any program, vortex works on the following methodology - garbage in, garbage out. if you don't know what you're doing, and you use any program incorrectly, bad things will happen. when bad things happen, its not the fault of the program, it's the fault of the person sat on the chair who didn't bother to read or try to understand what it was they were trying to do. So, it is the users fault that the program is flawed, having tried to follow "instructions" and watching a host of videos "explaining" the proper way to use said program, I would claim that it is the Programmers fault that the User have difficulties using it in the manner envisaged by said Programmer.. For the record I detest the mechanisms in the program that alters your mods and the UI is as intelligent and User-friendly as a google-translated russian manual to a Nuclear submarines electrical wiring... I can program (code to Americans) I wrote a nifty little thing that, today, is still used to coordinate goods delivery and collection in a major transport Organisation and I would never, EVER, allow my program to take decisions out of the users hand.. Vortex does that... Vortex floods you with useless information and derives you of the ability to have total control... unless you are very skilled or on the team that build the damn thing.. for MO2 users the transition is moderately smooth.. for NMM users not so much... it is confusing, it is assuming the end-user has vast experience and it is annoying to a degree where even I just chucked it, and THEN discovered i had to COMPLETELY, uninstall any and all things it had touched, that cost me a lot of time and a lot of irritation to the point where i swore i would never, ever, utilize anything made by the team behind this malaise.. unfortunately Nexus seem to adore it and some users do to... I, for one, detest it... With all that knowledge you'll definitely understand Vortex then. If not, I'd ask the University for your money back on those Computer Science classes. As far as NMM goes, the reason the transition from NMM to Vortex is a problem, is because NMM users have this false sense of security that "NMM actually does stuff", when in fact it doesn't Waxing lyrical about why NMM is superior, is like someone arguing that a funnel, filter, and a piece of garden hose is a superior Coffee Maker over a Keurig machine in function. After spending so much time in these forums offering support, I've found that around 99% of people complaining about Vortex "being difficult" have (A.) Never used it. (B.) Didn't bother to RTFM, (C.) Are trying to force it to be NMM The number one complaint is the tired, old, "I'm a programmer, This is not how you design this that and the other", while they go on and on about how they don't understand the very BASICS of using a Windows Program, and it's laughable at best that they come here and loudly list off the EASY things about Vortex, that they claim they don't understand. NMM just laid there, comatose, while it did NOTHING but download and unzip mods, while you made horrible load order decisions that caused CTDs etc. But to each their own I guess. Also, another thing that's outstanding about the people who hate Vortex. They come here and will argue endlessly about how much they hate it, instead of getting on with their lives I do understand vortex, I made it a point to "RTDM" and I did study each and every video BEFORE i even started the damn thing, my problem with it is the complexity, the machinery if you will.. for a user who comes from NMM and expects to download, unzip and then use LOOT followed by manual tweaking.. Vortex is a nightmare, it gives minimal control, UNLESS you follow the manual and gives no sense of user-control... I opened the "code" and took a look and I was flabbergasted by the very complexity and impressive amount of redundancy safeguards BUT.... the way it imposes itself on everything in your Steam folder and the sheer complexity of making it work in a customized "user-defined" way is beyond most and therefore I judge it so harshly.. If you would be so kind, you would notice that I specify that IF, you transition from MO2 you are less prone to run into frustrations and the myriads of problems reported.. I state clearly and will happily continue to do so that.. for a Newbie or one with limited interest in the "machiney" Vortex is not the answer, the more simple and less demanding NMM is.. for the Advanced user i would recommend MO2 because of the user-friendliness, take that con grano salis, for EXPERIENCED users.. Vortex tries to fill the gap between those two and does so in an unsatisfactory way.. I would not recommend it until it has progressed to the level of MO2 and then i would still advice New and Casual users to download NMM instead.. simply because not everybody likes to integrate themselves in the machinery and most prefer a point and click system that works without question... several Mod-Authors are in line with my thoughts on this, though they also despise NMM because of its inability to handle large files and thus, swear by MO2... I gave my opinion and would repeat it, the OP asks if Vortex is worth it and, as i deduced it, is a casual player whose previous experience comes fron using NMM, therefore my answer was to download the community version of NMM from GitHub.. I would like Vortex to work seamlessly for new and experienced players alike but.. at the moment... it does not.
  13. Being an arrogant donkeys rear end does not further your point, being a civil and polite person does.. You, Sir/Madam/It.. are the type of person i would prefer NEVER to meet and if i happened to run into you... I would ignore you politely whilst asking the Maitre´d to escort you out of the premises.. in other words.. due to your lack of manners and intolerable snootyness, you are hereby put on ignore for an eternity.. and then some.. have a day..
