  1. No one but the Psijics know what Sheson looks like but he has given us a clue in his tag line..."Holy Cow, I fixed Skyrim" (with the picture of the painted cow of Skyrim). So I throw out the challenge to talented modders to come up with a suitably spectacular shrine as befits Sheson. New lore is already whispered of the coming of Sheson, son of Sheogorath, the Holycow that fixed Skyrim.

     

    Something with a 24k texture that can be seen at 19 ugrids away.

     

    Edit. " Be" all over Skyrim!

    Somehow, it seems this patch has caused a lot of issues for me. After installing it I started getting petty bad visual glitches, if I look at the ground the screen gets super dark, but any bright light and it gets SUPER bright, when IO use no ENBs or other mods that would do something like this... in addition I started getting crashes every 10~15 minutes when I normally only got them once every hour or two... Uninstalling the patch has not completely fixed the issue either it seems... I don't get it. ._.

     

    EDIT; I confirmed it was this patch, I reloaded a clean save I made before installing and the game worked perfectly. Really bums me out this didn't work... Was hoping this was finally the thing to make uGrids stable enough for a playthrough at 7 or 9.

    you HAVE to use an ENB with ENB Boost, at least thats what has been stated.

     

    um, what are you even talking about? For one, ENBoost's speedhack function DISABLES the visual effect of any ENB, and physically CAN'T be used with one, and also I said nothing about ENBs OR ENBoost to begin with?.... :blink: Well, I mentioned that I don't have an ENB, because they are terrible, but that has nothing to do with what I was actually talking about

     

    You have to use ENBoost with this patch, with or without an ENB. You should read the original post by Sheson on the ENB forum. Originally he thought you should have the expanded ugrids mod as well but then said no.

  3. 61, my first computer had a wood fired OS. First Elderscrolls was Daggerfall. Its full install was something like 400MB. I had a 250MB hard drive. Awkward. You could take a 14 hour walk in Daggerfalls hinterland and finally run into a cabin with a static figure inside that said "hello".The priestesses in the Temple of Diabella knew nothing of Dream Girl or UNP.

  4. I've been told it is a vanilla bug. You hold an arrow ready to fire for awhile then it releases itself, reloads itself and fires another arrow a few feet in front of you. Happens to me during dragon fights. I've found the best way to address it is to put your bow away then re equip it.

  5. A new mod enters the stream. It has the same viewing opportunities as the ones entering before and after it. The 'great unwashed' preview and consider the new offerings at the endless mod buffet at Nexus. Heavy electronic traffic for a new mod will propel it to the hotfiles. You should always go for the latest files first and view the hotfiles later. If boobs and armors that would fill a tea cup depress you, you can filter that off your page with a mouse click. Later everything gets categorized and organized by several criteria. Even a mod that never makes the hotfiles has a rotating period of headlining the category it is in. As is, I can't envision another system that offers a fairer chance for the cream to rise among the flood on offer. Anything else would have to be based on subjective terms that would be too narrow for the entire community as a whole. It would be nice to have a "look at me now" hotfile category for previous non hotfiled mods that evolve to something much more than the initial offering in their first version.

  6. As there was no animation of the wagon, I reinstalled Finis and ran the generator. That solved it. I think on my clean out inspection after deactivating all the mods, I must have taken something away with removing the tools folder. Yet on twice verifying cache, the files were not replaced. Hope this helps someone in a similar situation after starting again.

  7. I'm not wanting, hoping or asking that a video game instruct me on life. In the real world, every race is racist at many levels although the current fashion is that only Caucasians are capable of racism. In my current play through I am using an outside mod that allows me to play as a Skeever, want to hear about racism in Skyrim from a Skeevers point of view? You are all teh evil ratcists!

  8. I'm level 13, got a hundred mods running very smoothly, the odd glitch but normal Skyrim. Perhaps one CTD every 6/7 hrs playing.

     

    I'm on my way to the Eldergleam with the pilgrim, Vilja and Lydia. We are on foot. Pass Valdheim and just turning sharply down the steep hill perpendicular to the river, all of a sudden a body falls from the sky and lands right beside me. It is a novice conjuror, dead. I go to loot the body and CTD removing the first Item. Very odd I think. I restart and this time running down the hill, no body falls out of the sky. When we reach the junction that leads off to Windhelm we are jumped by a dragon. After a long fight we continue on our way to Eldergleam. Past the fort and on mounting the bridge I CTD right in the middle of the bridge. Try two more times and CTD in the middle of the bridge. Go back a few saves and try again, same thing. Try again and head back to the Windhelm road. Go half way to the mill and cross the river. CTD on leaving the water. Rinse and repeat, same. Can't enter the steam pool zone it seems. Start up with the Idea of running back in the direction of Whiterun and try to force a CTD. Reach the section where the Conjuror had fell from the sky and surprise, his body is there again. Activate the body and ...CTD. Anyone experienced something like this, on what had been a stable game before the magic ba^tard fell out of the sky?

     

    I sure don't want to write home for a bus ticket to Helgen again.

    It's being merged with his new project SkySummer, although not all the songs will be included. He doesn't say why this necessitated him taking down the original mod. Probably hiding some copyright issues.

     

    Nope FMO is removed and won't come back. I'm thining about a mod "Fantasy Soundtrack Project", which will contain many new songs but only as full replacer of the skyrim soundtrack. Otherwise also SkySummer won't be released anymore, since I am working on some other mods... Fantasy Soundtrack Project will come as standalone mod, assuming that I will publish it.

     

    SkySummer is abandoned? I'm using v2, would you recommend I delete it and go back to winter? Is it unsafe to use? That is a shame.

  10. I'm still running v2 but am nervous about the mods disappearance as well. I'm guessing it is for revision but perhaps leaving the page up and disabling download ability would be more assuring for users. I found a few problems (no tree bridge to the Hagraven at Orphans Tear, odd lighting at certain angles in the rented room at the Skeever in Solitude, a few awkward looking texture pairings) but have no game issues of importance. Hoping it returns soon in an even more polished state as summer is sweet in Skyrim.
