AP has had it's share of trolls (who ended up banned) & their posts were either cleaned up or just cleaned out of the thread. my posts aren't to scare anyone from doing this mod (I'd try it out) but as fair warning that some ugliness could be seen

just put new textures in the same place in the "Data" folder as the vanilla default textures are virtually in the .BSA files then invalidate the archive as a general rule it's ok to extract files from the .BSAs but never add or delete from them Fomm's "BSA unpacker" can extract files though

from that mod's readme I just tried that uninstall method & it worked without me needing to reinstall the game that's why reading the readmes are important

on the other site (not naming it wasn't F3 Underground) I was banned because of a suggestion to improve a mod, the other posters didn't like that I didn't see the modder/forum owner as a god because of a hair mod. so ever since then I made it a personal rule not to deal with closed style forums, No offense intended to the staff & members of F3 Underground though.

I have tried to check out F3 Underground but one rule I have for myself is that I will not register to a site that wont let me lurk at least first, I like to check out the community before becoming part of it. the one time I did that I was scorned (by the other posters) then banned for making a suggestion, so never again.

are you accidentally hitting the ESC key? if not it could potentially be a hardware problem, I'd check to see if the Keyboard is connected well.

Since it doesn't use an .ESM or an .ESP file it wont show up in the mod list And what are you putting on that gives you the nite gown?

My favorite Companion mod is >Groovy Followers< It lets me get almost anyone as a companion like >SSC< but it's menu based so you don't need to talk to your companions even as VATS shows how the shots did I can still control my companions since it's not dialog based And since it's what I refer to as a general companion mod it's not tied down to any particular NPC, I'll say little Maggie of Megaton is my favorite Companion. My Custom version of Maggie

I think the problem would be more on this side of the screen than ingame. stripping a town of clothing is very doable but it might end up being troll bait for the "holier than thou" types. That's my opinion anyways

i cant get on fallout because it froze the last time i played and the white box was the outline i guess from it and i cant play fallout Edit: the message is there too. Does the message box have any buttons? On vista: It may help to do the three finger salute (Alt-control-delete) then select "task manager", if mouse is still locked in FO3 you may need to "arrow-key down then Enter . if lucky you may have freed the mouse enough to right-click the taskbar icon for FO3 & select close. I hope that helps.

The Goty version is good with mods. 1, it's the latest version of the game so most mods will work 2, it has all the DLC that has been released so any mod with DLC dependencies is fine to get. Needless to say GOTY is the version to get for the full Fallout 3 experiece

Does the "ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa" file show up in Fallout 3's "Data" folder when you toggle it on? Well, the mod archiveinvalidationinvalidated does, but not the bsa. one... Is your windows set up to hide the extensions? if not then you have an odd problem, I don't typically suggest this but in your case I think you ought to check out >ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated< unless that is the mod you mentioned.

There's a brick wall behind her, and if she could get a friend to go along with it, could have even had some good shots of the destruction... With property damage to boot. If you're going to break something, break it already and stop playing to the camera. It's just pathetic if this wasn't scripted. I agree, she likely would have done more damage if she stomped on it, but I can understand why he may be playing so much with her attitude

@ancalimonungol, some of the things you mention are not bugs but features like dad being scripted to crouch by the plaque & Amata being set as "Essential" I have tried keeping her out of the vault but she disappeared when I leveled up. I know it's not a perfect game but from your posts I don't think any game can live up to what you expect of them. that's not to say I don't think Beth needs to do things better for one I hope new Vegas has proper patches & not just be about any DLC that may be made. but having said that I really enjoy playing Beth's games
