Hi, had the exact same problem and I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that this happens due to a corrupted save and there is no fix (to my knowing) besides loading a previous save. The good news is that I have found the exact mod and moment when this happens. It's the mod Fight against Thalmor IV - Dragonmourn Inn and it happens somewhere half-through the mine.

I know this is a very old topic but I've just encountered the exact same problem and I have found a solution :) The problem is that you have by some means disabled shadowmere. So as suggested before you should use the command player.moveto 32bf5 which will move you to chestnut stables (where your horse is although invisible) then you use a command prid 32bf5 (now you should see "Shadowmere" written on the top of the screen and finaly you use the command enable... voilá :) your Shadomere is standing in front of you. She is although unarmored but now you can return to the orc lady and purchase your armor back.
