I would have thought that the penalties that currently exist are purely to balance the fact that the enemy is in motion during the shooting attempt. It's fair. If it was modded the aliens would also get the bonus on your men!

You can of course move and then reload, but we can't reload then move...or reload then fire.......

The excitement of playing the first ever XCOM and it's originality may well never be matched again. The underwater one was a little weird and just had something missing but what it was I couldn't say. I wish the Multi-Player version of this one allowed for more than two players and squads with larger maps. Maybe up to 6 player....It would also be good if players knew the map to be used before they picked the squad as preferences can alter.

Currently, I am being forced to witness the entire clip and no amount of pressing 'Escape' helps end the monotony. Anyone else being forced to watch the full length scene? My wish for this game is that they add in the options, the choice to switch off ALL CUT Scenes, just like 3rd person cam etc. It's weird that the very thing's the Dev's thought would make this game ...pretty...I guess.....are the same things that eventually give this game a short life-span. The fixed storyline being the strongest example. Also, a soldier simply reloading (before anything else) should not have his whole turn used up. It takes half a turn after they have moved etc, so it should be that we should be able to reload and 'overwatch', or even reload then run etc.

Tried it. Put all files into another folder and so far have moved it's location twice to no effect. It seems as though it does not matter where the movies are currently. Still trying.

Getting very fed-up pressing the escape key every time just to speed things up. Their nice and all but a few times is enough. All Laser weaponry changed to NO reload required. No AI cheat on Classic or Impossible (AND be able to stay Online with Steam). As soon as possible, the storyline gone. More Alien bases and that would make it a perfect game for me.
