They don't really belong in Elder Scrolls lore, do they? On a side note though it would be intresting to see some riekling look-likes to become playable, as I liked their culture and looks quite a lot in Dragonborn DLC. there are too much non skyrim characters armor sets weapons and etc (Crysis armor , or jidai swords for example) to judge me about this my friend :)

Exatly ---> Laziness! :D when first time i finished this questline , i thought soon there'll be an update or dlc adding the ending of this war , an epilogue quest for both Imperial & Stormcloak side , with its High king or High Queen at last! :D then after year i realized that Bethesda is too lazy for a project like this , or for example "Additional Dark Brotherhood Quests" or "Werewolf Tales" or "Thieves Guild Addon" or smth. alike, cause this side quest were awesome and best side quests ever in my opinion , and i'd gladly spent some more septims ) for a such dlc or update if there were any of course =) they are busy with updates like "1.9 ---> new perks" naaah :D new perks for pc players who can use consoles for new perks anytiiiime!! :D

in my opinion Balgruuf just wanted to keep his Whiterun throne , as the other "Empire licking Gold picking" Jarls of skyrim all he needed was"Chests of Gold" and a reason for positive sighn of the agreement between Thalmor and Empire called White-gold concordat (Which forced empire to deny Talos), as he admittes by the conversation during the quest "Message to Whiterun" Ireleth:"Was it cowardly then to accept White-gold Concordat?.." Balgruf:"This again?! That was different! Was i given a chance to object the terms of treaty?! No! The jarls were not asked, we were told, and we had to like it" Proventus:"the chest of gold didnt hurt.." Balgruf:"damnit! This isnt about the gold!" May be you're right , but , lets just think if I'm a dragonborn then my char. must be a Nord, if i'm a Nord then I'm from Skyrim and also i worship Talos and do everything like a true nord in old ways , as a free man . In my opinion Nords were betrayed by Legion and traded for Great War peace with Thalmor. And after all of this i dont want to become a part of the legion and fight my own People , Talos Worshippers and True Nords. I like realistic and true logical line of events , even in a Game :biggrin:
