  1. Thanks for the reply. I don't have Nemesis installed at the moment because I thought having it installed was the issue. I was getting the same messages then as now and uninstalling made no difference. The .psc files are perplexing. Line 8 of the FNIS_aa file is part of a comment not a command. Damn, I just realised I was being too literal with the line number. I can now see something...hmmm
  2. This has been going on for a while, and I have searched high and low--here, and via Google--for an answer but haven't been able to find anything valid. I'm not even sure if this is causing an issue but it is certainly an annoyance since it creates papyrus log files that are megabytes big. Essentially, my log is being filled with instances such as this and I have no idea why these errors are appearing, what they're actually telling me, or how to fix it: stack: <unknown self>.fnis_aa.SetAnimGroupEX() - "FNIS_aa.psc" Line 8<unknown self>.xpmselib.SetAA() - "XPMSELib.psc" Line 238[Active effect 6 on (000654F5)].XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.SetAA() - "XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.psc" Line 1553[Active effect 6 on (000654F5)].XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.Restyle() - "XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.psc" Line 1261[Active effect 6 on (000654F5)].XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.onBeginState() - "XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.psc" Line 255[Active effect 6 on (000654F5)].XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.GotoState() - "ActiveMagicEffect.psc" Line ?[Active effect 6 on (000654F5)].XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.OnEffectStart() - "XPMSEWeaponStyleScaleEffect.psc" Line 222[11/24/2022 - 10:15:08PM] Error: Static function SetAnimGroupLoad not found on object nemesis_aa. Aborting call and returning None Is there a way to resolve this and stop it filling the log files, or is it unfixable and I should just shut up and put up with it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  3. And just for shits n giggles... The speed of the 700Mb download actually went up to around 600Kb/s while this one was downloading but then dropped back down to around 80Kb/s once it was finished. My connection is fine but yours is not.
  4. No, you really don't. The 700Mb file is still downloading but in the meantime I downloaded two more files from NexusMods: one is 103mb, the other is 234Mb, and they were both done in a matter of seconds. If there was an issue with anything at my end then those two files would also still be downloading. There is most definitely an issue at your end, and it involves files over a certain size.
  5. Currently downloading a 700Mb FO4 mod and it isn't even hitting 100Kb/s and this is NOT the first time. I've downloaded a number of 1+gig files at the same speed but then files that are less than 300Mb are downloading at my top speed which is 5-6Mb/s. Speedtest tells me I'm getting my full speed, even during this peak hour time in Australia but the time makes no difference anyway because it has happened at 2am as well. Is Nexus throttling large files, or what? I paid for premium membership to get downloads quicker but the way things are going I won't be renewing next month.
  6. Wow, 4 years later and Bethesda are still pulling this crap. I originally got the game a few years back but had to re-downloaded the files a couple of months ago to play again. These same Creation Club files reappeared in my data folder.
  7. G'day. I just wasted 10 minutes looking for a cellar that I was never going to find because the plugin was never enabled correctly. I've had this issue with a number of different mods but this latest one has got me writing this screed. I manually download a mod into a sub-directory on one drive partition, and then install the mod using Vortex's "Install from file" button. If there are no plugins present it installs without an issue and is there to use when I start the game. However, in this instance the Widow Shotgun, and Black Widow armour mods were downloaded and installed as normal AND seemingly enabled on the plugin page. However, after loading the game, searching for 10 minutes or so, I quit the game, re-started Vortex, checked the plugin page and found the damn plugins were disabled. What The Effing Eff? I've read a few of the help files, and searched the forums--and elsewhere--for a reason behind this behaviour but have found nothing that resembles/explains what is happening. Can someone please tell me if I'm messing up somehow, or if this is an issue with Vortex?
