  1. I was wondering if anyone would be interesting in porting the Keyblade Armors from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep into the game. I've been trying my hand at modding myself, and while I've got the basics of texturing down, I'm having a great deal of trouble importing meshes and models into Blender (3DS Max is not an option, as I can't afford it). In the meantime, while I'm still working on figuring things out, I thought I'd ask if anyone was interested. Even if you aren't into the Kingdom Hearts series, I though these armors were pretty cool. I have the downloads for the models and textures on my pc, if someone would prefer them to be sent over e-mail or another method, but they can also be downloaded here: https://www.models-resource.com/psp/khbirthbysleep/

  3. So I was wondering if anyone here on the forums could help me out here. I've been experimenting with the toolset recently and have figured out, with the help of some tutorials online, how to create new items and place them within the game. That part was very easy and I can do that relatively quickly. What I can figure out is how to change the base attributes of the different types of items. For example, I want to change the requirements for ranged weapons, specifically, short bows and longbows, by adding a strength requirement. In real life, it actually takes as much physical strength as it does dexterity (sometimes even moreso) to wield an old-fashioned bow. Even in most works of fiction, it's usually implied or outright stated that wielding bows requires great strength. For example, in the Greek epic poem "The Odyssey," Odysseus proves his identity near the end of the story by wielding and using a bow that he was specifically mentioned as being the only person strong enough to wield. From what I have been able to gather, base item requirements are tied to material types, which is why a long sword made out of silverite requires a lot more strength to use than a simple iron long sword. It seems the only way to edit this is to edit the 2da files, but I haven't the slightest clue which 2da files I'm supposed to edit. Maybe I'm missing something on the various tutorials and websites I've looked at, but I can't figure out for the life of me which ones require editing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  4. So I was looking for this specific mod for KotOR since Filefront bit the dust a while back and haven't had any luck finding it yet. Maybe you fine folks can help me out? I believe it was called the Alien Species Dialogue mod, or something like that. Basically, with the amount of mods KotOR has for playing as an alien species, someone created a mod that edited the dialogue throughout the game to reflect this. There were specific options for two or three specific alien species, like Twi'leks, but there was also a generic option where you were just refered to as a sentient to reflect that your character was still an alien, just not one with specific dialogue to reflect your species. It was remarkably well done and considering that about only five percent or so of the dialogue specifically refers to you as being human, most of the editing was really just cutting out dialogue that refered to you as such. Taris is particular well done, as all the Upper City citizens react to you as if you were an alien and even the racist doomsayer Gorton Colu will refuse to speak to you (and even has spoken dialogue to reflect this, which seems to suggest there was, at one point, the idea of having your PC be an alien). Anyway, if anyone has this mod, or knows where I can find it, any help would be appreciated.
