Hello! I am in need of dire help... I've been trying to make some NPCs prettier (all marriable NPCs, in particular), and I found myself unable to import the .npc files correctly. It is of note that I am completely new to modding (though I've played around with the Construction Set back in my Morrowind days). I tried searching for solutions, and tried many things (I learned to set the dependencies as .esm, and also to export the needed files for the NPC after converting my mod to .esm, which I am unable to do because I failed to make the NPC look nice enough), though none seemed to work. Here is what I did: 1. Set the NPCs I wanted to alter as presets (so I could start with a base). I duplicated each NPC and set the duplicates as presets. 2. Used the showracemenu command to select each preset and alter it to my liking. 3. After each 'renovation' I saved my character and used the spf command to get an .npc file (I even got one CTD once due to changing my poor character around so much, heh). 4. After I have all those files, I set my hair, eye, freckle, eyebrow, warpaint, etc. mods to .esm using Wrye Bash (I made an .esm copy, not ESMified them). 5. I opened the Creation Kit and chose all those .esm files as masters, none as active, and of course also selected Skyim.esm, Update.esm, all DLC and all Unofficial Patch ESMs (I know, a trillion dependencies, but I'm gonna be this mod's sole user, so...). And this is where my problem begins: 6. I opened an NPC, imported the .npc file, and upon seeing the preview I come across this horrible sight: Oh poor Ysolda, what have they done to you?? No HD makeup, no custom warpaint, no custom hair... Also, when I try to select, for example, an Apachii hair, most of them don't even show up. What in the world have I done wrong? Thank you for anyone that helps me! I will be anxiously waiting for any answers.
