  1. Have you been trying to do that by any chance? Because that is exactly the sort of reckless messing around that can cause these errors in the first place :armscrossed: LOL of course not, i was just guessing looking at the code. Theres no way I am sticking my hand into a running engine when I am no a mechanic ;D I downloaded the script but not doing a new game yet since I was able to get further today, and it was enhanced blood texture I was using and deleted, it looked odd anyway because blood would be all over the body and nothing on the face so it create a weird neckline.
  2. i started a new game with the new critter script but the game was crashing in the battle between companions and giant outside whiterun. And people say that the blood thing could be causing or contributing to it. I uninstalled the mod according to its mod page bust still get these error messages. To get around from that critter crash, i just did some other quest in another town... and few days later went back to that area and didnt crash for some reason. Also on the last bit of my log, is the game specifically refering to individual critters? for example (FF000F3E), (FF000F45) etc. I presume these are individual critter preference? If there are can i just remove them from game using some command in console?

  4. dont start a new game, just load a game near the start. the issue is if u have lots of mods in save, skyrim cant load a save that will go over 1.8 - 2.0gb on taskmanager under tesv.exe load a save in that start then load the save u want to load after

Right just an update, did a test run which i thought the problem gone away, killed the giant but as soon as i head towards whiterun it ctd. after reloading about 10 times and running from riverwood to the battle it pretty much ctd at the same spot still. SO... what to do... looking at the log, its always [C00GiantAttack (000C97D9)].QF_C00GiantAttack_000C97D9.Fragment_0() - "QF_C00GiantAttack_000C97D9.psc" Line ?. Now from my understanding this is a scripted attack... which I confirmed by turning the AI off using command "TAI" in console. Did a loadgame with AI off and then ran towards the battle. The giant was smacking Aela etc who were just standing there. So I killed the giant and then turned AI on , after a few seconds later it crashed. Hey but at least I can consistantly kill the giant. Loaded save game again, tuned ai off, killed giant, NOT turning AI back on and walked towards whiterun, few more steps then crash.... Alright so what now.... loaded again did everything on previous run apart from running towards whiterun, went inside another building somewhere else tuned AI back on then then came out. (This forces game to load outside cell again I am sure, should have pcb as well but i forgot). Now i got into whiterun and made a new save in warmaidens. HOPEfully the problem can **** off. exited the game and now the log its pretty simular but apart from now its saying its missing the bloodpack reference and cant find it. I might not add it back in as a few people said it causes problems and that the blood looked abit weird as none of it goes on the face ( so theres a line of blood on the body up to the neck then stops). well I am sure there be some nice problems to solve in this game once again very soon. thx for reply

I like setting it to 10000 though XD yeah In my first run i was cheating abit just to run around for a few hours and i set my carryweight and then my character stops running after a while because hes suddenly cant carry the weight of 2 dump trucks ^^. l found on another forum if u use modav instead of setav, it cure this but for example if ur carryweight was 350 and then u set it to 10000 then it goes to 10350.
  7. Just to let you know took the blood thing off and now it allows me to kill the giant this time round. I guess this solves this issue, but as u seem to be in the know, can i can now carry with on with a "clean" save i made or do i start a new game ( which would be a pain but i can live with it)? thx

Funny the other thread i started the guy recommended taking off the blood mod ( i am pretty sure thats what those 2 are ) http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1025877-ctd-at-fight-between-giant-and-companions/ yes i do have animation installed for 1 adult mod, weapon block and some animation. i do run the FNIS programe with xp32 left hand fix( i am sure this option i am required to tick) and gender specific animation ( I am not too sure if this was needed but i ticked it anyway ) I will try now to see if this cure this diesease.
  9. Try looking in settings, last tab to the right "skyrim" and make sure is pointing to where u save ur skyrim mods for example
  10. well you can always set the carryweight back to what you think it should be pretty sure the command is player.modav carryweight (whatever number u want to set ur stat) i used player.setav carryweight and my carryweight seem to reset it self after awhile. Hope this is quick fix for you
  11. np, I had this issue and was i going mad trying to find this issue on the forums because i didnt add this line in myself to my file. Hopefully any other newbie like me will see this in the future
  12. random game freezes I dont know enough to help anyone as i am quite new to this game, but infinite load screen happen when you load a save game that would go over 1.8-2.0 gb in task manager on tesv.exe. try saving and loading in a indoor cell
  13. yep, it should work, also if you ever cant get a console command to work and you are sure u put in the right syntax, then check the skyrim.ini and pref file
  14. Hahaha, I am sure there are others like me sitting around with double palmface when started modding this game... 1. NMM was used at start to install all mods unless the there was specific instructions to install mod manually by author 2. according to NMM there are newer versions of the following mods Customizable cameras 1.2 to 1.3 by Arindel Enhanced Distance terrain 1.5 to 1.6 by Sparrow prince Skyrim HD 2k Texture 1.5 to 1.6 (but I am using the lite version so its up to date last time i checked) SKYUI 3.4 to 4.1 ( I am suspecting this as a culprit) I read that some mods are not compatiable with the new 4.1 UI but I need to read up more on that Superlore friendly hair 1.12 to 1.13 Also i have about 40 companions mods which some have newer versions but i am pretty sure thats just apperance updated and shouldnt affect the scripts in main game In terms of save games I have a few since i just started again after the previous game reached about level 12 and then kept crashing consistantly with duel wield redux as the last item on the papayis log

But yeah i suppose i can do without the extra blood, it didnt look as awesome as i thought. Water esm at the bottom of the load order?
