Not at all....and you are not forced to play SSE..if you own the original Skyrim for PC you can play and mod it as long as you like. SSE has a reworked engine that is more stable and looks better than original vanilla Skyrim. SKSE for SSE is coming which will allow much more mods to be ported over or to be newly created for SSE specifically.
