Edit: Welp, I'm giving up. I'm now stuck in the Chantry in Lothering and the game crashes when I try to leave. I think I've reinstalled the game around 8 times in the last 3 days, I've read every web page I can find, adjusted my graphics, removed mods, etc etc and I can't get it to work. So frustrating and very sad, but this is no fun. Roll on Dragon Age Legendary Edition! And thanks if you took the time to read this. o/ Hi there I have fired up DA:O after what seems like 500 years. I'm playing the Ultimate Edition from Origin, and I'm using about 30 mods, including the 4gb patch, and I've run into a loading problem. When I load my latest save game, the game crashes to the desktop. However, if I load my very first save, the game opens and I can then load my latest save after that. Edit:- Actually, it's now occasionally crashing when on the loading screen when I'm going from one area to another. At first I thought it was to do with particular mods, and I reinstalled the game *grits teeth* several times, before I discovered the work around. Now, the game plays smoothly, looks amazing and I'm having a great time, but I still have to load up my first save, then my latest one, every time I play. What's causing this, then? I don't really mind the double loading (it's a bit tiresome that's all) but I'm a tad irked that I don't know what's wrong and wonder if this is going to cause me bigger problems as my game gets 'fatter' so to speak. Would love any ideas/insights/advice, and many thanks in advance. Lovely to be playing the game again. Weird tho! Many thanks!
