    I know that climates of Tamriel and realistic lighting overhaul can be problem children if they are not right in the order.

    The author says they should be like this so i would get them all snug together in your list.

    I'll try that as soon as I get the chance. Thanks for the help its much appreciated. Should ClimatesOfTamriel.esm stay where LOOT puts it or should it go somewhere else in the load order? as a reference point for the other plugins

     

    It should be fine at the top where it is

     

    I tried changing my load order to fit the list you gave to no avail unfortunately. I'm having the same CTD every time I walk up the road from honningbrew meadery toward riverwood

    You did not say if you ran loot? Sometimes loot does not always realize how game altering a mod is and sticks it in the wrong place. This is especially true for anything that is .esm so you should always check those. as a rule of thumb you want big mods that affect the game more at the top of your priority list. Open cities if i'm not mistaken is a heavy duty mod and should be by the top of the list.

    Sorry I did run LOOT and I've actually removed open cities and created a bashed patch since I started troubleshooting the problem. Are there any other clear problems that could be causing the crashes?

    So I have constant CTD's at seemingly random times. For example had one when I came near honningbrew meadery, often when I open my inventory, approaching Whiterun gates. Any help would be appreciated. I've disabled mods one by one and in batches and can't figure out the problem. I also disabled the patches/plugins that I don't need so that shouldn't be the problem either. Thanks for any help you guys can give. I posted this in another forum but I'm not sure if it was the right one so I'm reposting here.

    So I have constant CTD's at seemingly random times. For example had one when I came near honningbrew meadery, often when I open my inventory, approaching Whiterun gates. Any help would be appreciated. I've disabled mods one by one and in batches and can't figure out the problem.
