  1. i did it a couple times and then i deleted all of my skyrim files and then reinstalled skyrim completely
  2. so im currently trying to make a coffin with a lid that either slides open or flips open when activated like a door. i have duplicated a door and changed its mesh to the coffin top so it has a activator but it does not have a animation and i cant find a script or instructions on how to make a script for a custom door. If someone could provide either a script for this or a link to some instructions for a beginner to scripting it would be helpful.

So before I get started, Yes i have added it in the .ini file, this is about a missing file in Dawnguard causing it to crash. so when i try to load dawnguard it loads for a bit and then i get this warning: Assert File: …/TES Shared/misc/BGSLocalizedString.cpp Line: 2871 LOCALIZATION: Error opening or reading strings file. [Abort] [Retry] [ignore] When this happens i usually click [ignore] and when i do that i get this popup message: MASTERFILE: LOCALIZATION: Zero entries or empty block size read from strings file STRINGS/Dawnguard_ENGLISH.STRINGS. Strings will be missing. “Yes to all” will disable all Warnings for this context. [Yes] [No] [Yes to all] When i click [Yes to all] it will then crash. And if i click [Retry] in the first message it gives the same second message and will then crash. Is there a way to fix this?
  4. Main Idea: my idea is this, craft-able and place-able doors that you can then link and travel between like normal load doors, and make it npc/follower friendly please. Optional idea: add a spell pack that allows you to link already existing doors to crafted doors or other already existing doors. Second Optional idea: add some spels to register a door into a menu and a spell that when activated you can choose which registered door you want to go to using another door, of corse its temporary so if you go back to the door you used it will lead to the destination it was suposed to go Backstory and Reasoning for using this idea: this idea came to me while i was playing with a mod called "Paradise halls enhanced: home sweet home" where i had to use a house token to make my player-homes as places to keep my slaves but i am limited to only 10 houses and 10 outdoor slave camps, so i thought if i could link my player-homes together i could register them with one token. i download player homes where the only option to get to them is to teleport with spells so a craft-able door could be used to link these home to the world.i also download big empty player-homes all the time ( i like to customize them with several place-able furniture mods) and some of them have doors from the models that should load to somewhere but don't go anywhere, all they do when you click on them is they play the opening animation for load-doors but don't take you anywhere, so i thought why not make use of those doors, that's where my idea to link already existing doors came from.but to be safe have a function to save where doors lead to Previously so that you can revert them and not break the game.
  5. i have been wanting to find something like this for awhile but i cant so here is my idea. I like playing with mods that allow me to Collect the Corpses of my enemies, or allies, mods like Collect Unique Corpses and Clean Up Your Corpses, nut i have no where to put them. My Idea is for a Crypt/Tomb Structure With Places to put the Corpses inside, such as open topped Coffins(either Vampire or Dragur stone Coffins will work), or some alcoves in the walls, like in the Dungeons that has a mechanic of some kind to put the Body in a spot on the wall, or a part that slides out that i can nail them to using the CUYP mod i mentioned above that i can retract afterwords, thus putting them in the alcove in the wall. I would Also like it to have no enemies inside, as well as some way to place a custom entrance that i can interact with that will take me there, like a token that is in my inventory but when i activate that token it places a Tomb Entrance under me, like the mechanic in Mystic Condenser. and if you can make a way for me to expand it when i need to using the Hearthfire System to Build more Rooms. if someone decides to make this let me know.
