I may be asking for too much but I feel absolutely helpless as I have now run into multiple dead ends with an ENB I have been wanting so badly to install. I've been at it for almost a week and no matter how hard I try to install this ENB it just won't work. I see absolutely no changes in-game, nor does my game look anything like the mod. I have no clue as to how to tell whether or not I have installed it correctly. However, seeing as I have followed the original steps, alternative steps, several tutorials and researched a few times, I feel absolutely helpless at the point that I am now. Could anyone perhaps be so kind as to provide me one-on-one assistance to install this ENB? I am not new to modding and have a few years of experience, however, I still have quite a bit to learn and believe I may have messed something up along the way to not have this work out for me the many times I have tried to make it work. I am very patient and would be eternally grateful to receive any help, really. A hopeless adventurer. Thanks.

hi, i've recently started playing skyrim again. i don't wanna make this long but i've recently bought a new computer and i was very excited to start modding on it again mainly because the system is a lot stronger than my previous etc. im fairly new to modding but i'm familiar with most of the basics (or at least i think i am?). i've been having an issue mainly with an enb. an enb i've successfuly used before but for some odd reason it doesn't want to work again. however, i don't think it's the enb itself. because the file crashing my game is d3d9.ll from enbseries (?). once i remove this file out of my skyrim root folder my game works just fine. otherwise it crashes before title screen. would anyone know how i can fix this? i'd love to play skyrim with an enb. this enb to be exact. keep in mind i've used it successfuly before. i've also tried to look for a guide to set it up in case i was missing something but nothing i've come across has helped. i use nmm, just for reference. yes i've tried deactivating/removing mods permanently incase it was clashing. i barely have any left active. but nothing has worked. help is appreciated.

Thanks for replying. I know about the different profiles feature on NMM but no one really explains how it works. I made another profile, and my female mods all carried over to it (unless it does that?) so I didn't understand it. I've also never used MO2, so I will probably need more details if that's okay! I just want to start another character entirely and mod everything in just as I am with my female. I'm also aware that they use different paths but I've had instances where I was asked to overwrite something that shouldn't have affected my fem and I couldn't go with it since I wanted it for my female. Just confusing, that's all.

I'm looking to start a second character (the opposite gender of my main), and I was wondering if I could successfully mod for both genders without overwriting anything for each of them? I use Nexus Mod Manager and I have been trying to search the internet for an answer but nothing is clear enough. Other solutions I've come across haven't worked! I'm fairly new so I'd very much appreciate details. Cheers! TLDR; My main character is female, and I want to start a male. How can I actively mod for both using NMM?

Seen a few of these threads but none have fixed my issue. Dragons have completely stopped spawning. I know the counters are quite random but my case has not been normal. Two days ago things were fine but since then I have not been able to find a single dragon in Tamriel. I play via PS4 - level 50 and have no mods active, nor have I ever activated any in the past. The only issue I can think of is the Bend Will shout. I used it a few times and things were still fine until they eventually stopped showing up. I dismissed my follower who I thought had a part to play due to strange behaviour, skipped a ton of time and slept via bed. In Solstheim the dragon almost always spawns. What could be the issue? I plan on taking screenshots just as much as I plan on playing, if not more than anything honestly. But I 100% want to play and enjoy the game again as well. So I prefer something that works for both of these things. Using those large mods is not something I do normally. As I have already mentioned, I lag like hell using very small mods to start with and there aren't even that many. That 8k texture mod was just an example of course! I am just concerned that these specs would not be enough to run a heavily modded Skyrim without lag.

Thank you both! I don't have any plan to run Special Edition unless I decide to buy it one day, but for now it is just standard edition. The current laptop I am using runs like .. 9-10 FPS, if not less haha. It is a nightmare. So I can never play, I can only really get on Skyrim to take screenshots - which don't even look great to begin with. And compared to screenshots I have seen from other users, they have incredible quality. I am mostly thinking of running 2k mods at minimum, I would love 4k mods but I wouldn't overdo it as I am sure I can enjoy my experience without a ton of them. I am also heavy on ENBs, I currently use AnkoENB, which along with other mods, freezes my game completely. I currently have 91 mods active and about 70 of them are outfits, so not using much of the stuff that needs performance, etc. but unfortunately, it still lags a lot which really sucks. I would love to be able to run something similar to this. One mod I wanted to use but couldn't at all was PureSkin, it made my computer freeze on black screen and I had to manual shut down. I believe that uses an 8k texture or something... not too sure, but apparently this is what the mod had in the description. Sorry for my english.

I'll be buying a new laptop soon and I would really like for it to run Skyrim awesomely. Skyrim is one of the main reasons I am purchasing it, however, I am on a budget. One caught my eye recently but I need more opinions on it, thanks in advance. I am looking to run a fully/heavily modded Skyrim. The following specs is what I plan on. Is it good enough? Will I still experience lag, worth a try? Even though I can't afford to buy something just to 'try' it. Would anyone know why these things are happening to my game? Quite frankly I've just about had it with Skyrim, seeing as my game breaks every two days or so lol. Not familiar with load orders, but not entirely clueless with mods either. I solve a problem and another triggers. P.S - the nips are also not properly aligned with breasts. The qasmoke room is broken entirely, my eye meshes are distorted and broken, and then there's those. All is appreciated, thanks.
