  1. should it also be --outputfile then?I'm assuming this purely on consistency I have no idea. I'm fairly certain that that is not correct. From the PSARC page: Edit: I think you got it there now that I reread what I just posted. Will reply again when I get the chance to try it out. Update: the --inputfile is exactly what my issue was, thanks all!
  2. Hey guys, Having some issues trying to compile a mod I'm creating to test it out. I'm using the PSARC tool and am constantly getting an error. Below is an example of the command I am attempting to run and the output. Any ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

  4. I have been working on a mod for Skyrim that adds chain scythes into the game. I have one for each material type but do not have the skills needed to create the meshes, textures or animations for them. What I am looking for help with is: Creating the meshes for each type of scythe and chains connecting them, Creating the textures for the meshes as they are completed, and Creating animations for the chain scythes, including: Running animations (having the chain moving behind the player), Fighting animations (having the chain moving with the player as they fight), Executions (if possible) If you are interested in helping with this project please message me.

From my above post: Also, if anyone has found a way to get the SKSE script functions to compile with custom scripts without giving errors like "IsLightArmor is not a function or does not exist" please let me know or link me in the right direction. I've tried verifying and manually reinstalling the SKSE scripts to no avail. I figured this out. What I was trying to do was, during and OnItemAdded event, check if the item added was armor useing: akBaseItem.IsLightArmor() By adding a cast to akBaseItem, I was able to get the script to compile: (akBaseItem as Armor).IsLightArmor() Just as a heads up for anyone else who is having a similar problem.
  7. I'm not sure if this topic is still active but it might be worth checking the Game.psc. I believe that is where most of the OpenMenu type functions exist.
  8. If you can, try using Notepad++. The link I provided above should show you how to set up everything for it. I've found it much easier to use. Also, if you have the .bat named ScriptCompile without the space, that might be your problem. armasan - good to hear that this helped you.   9. It depends on how many things you are initiating through. A script can run through a while loop 5 or 10 times incredibly fast but if you are running through it hundreds or thousands of time and doing a lot in the while loop it will lag down the game.
  10. I have written many scripts in the past and I have never had this issue until now. When I save my script (as a psc file) in Notepad++ and then open Creation Kit and compile my script, I get this error: Starting 1 compile threads for 1 files... Compiling "[Script Name Removed]"... No output generated for [Script Name Removed], compilation failed. Batch compile of 1 files finished. 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Failed on [Script Name Removed] This happens on 3 out of 4 scripts I have recently written. The other one compiles (with errors) just fine. EDIT: After doing a little searching I added the compiler to Notepad++ and fixed my Papyrus Compiler.bat If you are having a similar problem use this link.
  11. Hi all, I am currently developing a mod where I am using the Nordic Large Tents. What I need help with is a modeler to create a tent flap to load into the inside of the tent so I can create a room inside the tent. Anyone who could help with this please message me.
