I've followed a bunch of different guides, and done everything I can think of, but the game is still CTDing at startup. I have no mods, I've deleted all traces of OBSE and any other modding software, and done *several* fresh re-installs of the game nothing is working the *base game* is CTDing, and I can't find a single way to fix it please help me

exactly what it says on the cover. Trying to play this game again after not touching it for a few years, but when I try to run it it CTDs almost immediately. I get the lil launcher menu, and click play. The screen turns black for a second, and then I'm back at the desktop. I have some mods, but not a ton of them, and I'm p sure I installed them all right. After using xEdit to clean some stuff, I managed to get it to kinda work? But before it even got to the main menu, i got an error saying "The instruction at 0x000000000058DC7C referenced memory at 0x0000000000000004. The memory could not be read. press OK to terminate the program" Does uh. Does anyone know what that means?? or how to fix it???

I'm trying to use the Relic Hunter beginning for ASLAL, but i keep getting CTDs the game works fine starting out and during the character creator, and i can talk to the statue and choose the beginning i want, but once the loading screen ends my game CTDs :( I've looked for conflicts and can't find any, and i'm not sure what could be causing this can anyone please help?

ASLAL (Arthmoor's Alternate Start - Live Another Life) has always worked just fine for me in the past, but ever since a couple days ago it's stopped working, and i just get the default cart scene anyone else having this problem, or found a way to fix it? i'm playing skyrimSE and using MO2 yes both the plug-in and the mod are active, and i've sorted my plug-ins at least 5 times, and i've tried re-installing ASLAL i've made sure my ESP/M number is below 254 nothing i do seems to work please help! here;s my load order, if that helps https://pastebin.com/4TYXKWUh

the topic p much says it all. i try to load any save file, and my character instantly dies, trapping me in a death loop and essentially ruining any character. anyone know about any common mod conflicts that cause this? i've gone through and made sure none of my mods are incompatible, and that i have any necessary patches, but it's still happening :[ help please? (i can send my mod/plugin list if needed)

i've just finished organizing my mods in MO2, but when i try to get it to run SKSE i get an error saying EngineFixes.dll REL/Relocation.h(617): failed to open file does anyone know what file i'm missing? i've redownloaded SKSE, just in case it was that, but it's still not running please help!

already tried that. i disabled all my mods like mcow and i was still crashing

i stopped trying to fix it for a while, just waiting to see if any mods updated or anything. i'm just getting back into it now, i'll let you know if i find anything good to know i'm not the only one with ths problem!

getting a ctd whenever i try to go to the college of winterhold. i've checked through all my conflicting mods and none of them are causing it, and i checked mods like MCOW and Apocalypse magic and neither of them are causing it. i mostly use Vortex to deal with my mods, but i do check them in LOOT when necessary. my mod list is here https://imgur.com/a/ndrYtLF (i couldn't be bothered to write them all down in pastebin) does anyone know what might be causing this? any help is greatly appreciated

i swear i've had this problem and fixed it in the past, but for the life of me i can't remember how. for some reason, whenever i try to switch to a female argonian in the character creator, the game hard crashes and i have to restart my laptop. i've looked through all my conflicted mods and checked their pages for any patches that might fix it, but none of them seem to be the cause? has anyone else ever had this issue, caused by any specific mods?

so i'm not the most mod savvy person in the world, but I've been doing everything i can to stop this bug and i cannot for the life of me find the culprit. the bug in question is this i load the game instantly, the game begins rapidly switching between day and night. after a couple seconds my characters health is drained and i die. and my eyes have turned black. this is actually the evolution of a previous bug i was trying to stop, where i would load the game and i would be naked, have my magicka drained, have a frost spell effect coming out of my face, and after a couple seconds i would die. I've been changing my mods around a lot, going through the ones that have conflicts and removing mods and stuff, and a couple of days ago the 'frost face' bug was replaced by the 'rapid day/night' bug and no matter how far back i try to load, all the save files have the same bug/corruption. i'm using MO2, and i only started using it about a week ago, and before that i was using Vortex, but i was getting the bugs with both programs so idk. my load order is here, if that might help https://pastebin.com/w2v3vG1C does anyone have any idea what i can do to fix this????
