  1. I play LE and realized SE might be different. After more research, I was going to come in and make the change..... . Thank you for the correction and addition of the information.
  2. After years, countless web videos and hours upon hours of reading, loading, deleting and reloading the Creation Kit............. I finally found information in an archive on reddit.com . When Bethsda did an update... don't know when... they changed the Script.zip file to Script.rar --- and put it in the Script folder with all of the .pex files. The location should be Skyrim\Data\Scripts, make sure your in with the .pex files..... and look for script.rar . I unzipped this and now have all of the .psc files. . I wish someone would have put this out 3 years ago. It would have saved me a lot of frustration. I hope this saves some hair pulling for anyone looking for the script file. Good Luck Larry
  3. F I N A L L Y!!!!!!!!! . Through reading and reading and watching websites, hours and hours of reading files on reddit.com I finally found the information... When Bethda did updates it changed the Scrips.zip file into script.rar........ hidden within the .pex files. I unzipped it and now have all of the .psc files. I wish could have found this information a 2 years ago... I would not have given up so easily and gotten so frustrated about modding.
  4. Ok.... still having problems. Can someone please tell me where PM_Script_Candle_Light is located? I do not have the script.zip folder. Have searched my computer. Should I d/l CK again... I am playing LE if that makes a difference. Also.... through following information your supposed to go to CK to the Gameplay tab then Papyrus Script Manager... I have tried to d/l DF_Script_Candlelight.psc ... but its not showing up. Yes I have it in the data/source file along with several other places. . . OK.... after a lot of manual digging... I found a file called Scripts.7z with a date of 2015. This file is in with the .pex Is this the scripts file?

  6. After going through things I found that a link to the Inn was causing the problem. Even after deleting there was still a problem with Helda but the vendor I created worked well. I finally built the castle just for a look.... too many things out of place, too many holes, construction (floors, rugs, walls) items not lining up, Items or things that should have been for use were not. I liked the outside, lots of planting spots. Vendors or persons I thought should have had access, things to sell of buy, did not. Deleted mod.
  7. 12/27/2022 Recently I downloaded LC_Build Your Noble House -- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/94414. With this you build your own village and house. You can build the Carpenter first and he will sell you most all you need for construction of the mod. Only thing that lacks is Firewood and this I added another 1000 firewood through the console command. I constructed everything except for the main house. Now comes to my problem. The Alchemist (Helda) will sell you all kinds of Blacksmithing items. I checked her chest through CK, links and everything seems to be ok. Using Darkfox127 tutorial I made my own alchemist. It was perfect since the video was making an alchemist. Once done I double checked everything and put her in the world. She was selling Blacksmith items. There is not even a Blacksmith chest anywhere nearby.... least that I could see with CK. Please help Larry
  8. Woops!!! Sorry.... Yes on LE. Gave SSE a try for 2 months.... came back to LE. I mostly use Vortex and have a "generic" save file just inside the last exit from Helgen. I will load that, make a save, add/activate mods and go from there. This way don't have to go completely through the entire opening. If I have to do a major reset its from that point. I will do what you suggest and go through those files... see what is there. I did find a really old save file.... before I added that mod... and things seemed to be working. I have not deleted all the save files that used that mod. I will load through Steam and see what happens. Will let you know what I find. Thank you for the suggestions.
  9. I am on a new play through and wanted to get Aela as my spouse. I had d/l "Enhanced Skyrim Followers - Aela the Huntress" by DreamKing some years ago but she was always a follower. I did the companion quest and got Aela as a follower when spent enough time with her. Got the Amulet of Mara. No marry option. I went and read the mode and it says she is not able to be married.. but he would add in an update. No update and the mod has been abandoned. Ok.. deleted the mod. Went back to a save file before the Companions quest. Aela wound up black faced and naked. Went into C/K and checked everything. Made a save file just for her, checked for the ESFAela.esp and ESFAela.bsa files as the mod says. Could not find them. Did a computer search.. no files. Went in game and resurrected her, did the resetAI, I checked using the "pickpocket" and she has no clothing in inventory. Went back into C/K and changed her armor... still naked and blackface. Is there something I am missing??? Am I going to have to restart to get Aela reset? Thank you
  10. Sorry.....I forgot about this post. A BIG ...Thank you... to giamel for his assistance with solving this issue. Here is the post he sent: Ok, I'm familiar w/ the house mod Elysium Estate but, have never used it, I don't know who jadetheshadow is. However, I will tell you it sounds like a faction issue. Whichever NPCs are fighting w/ the animals sounds like they are not allies with or at least friendly to the PreyFaction. try targeting a humanoid NPC combatant and "addtofaction 2e894 1" preferably before any fight starts. Using the console command had to click on each animal and add the faction. I then forwarded to 10:00 pm and watched. The NPC's set to guard came out and nothing happened.
  11. Started a new play through..... Looking at new mods - decided to install OSex. Immediately ran into troubles. It is totally incompatible with Jaxonz Positioner!!!! They use the exact same keys. Since there is no activation key with Jaxonz Positioner its active all the time. I have tried to get in touch with the creator of OSex. I know nothing of porting mods. I would ask if someone could import Open Sex from SE? I tried several years ago playing with CK. I have a bran new computer............. and it hates CK. I may break out my old computer and take a look at it. Thank you in advance for looking at this.   12. I hope this is in the right place. Can a modder or anyone please answer or assist with this matter. I play LE, have AFT, the adoption mod, My Home is Your Home, all the basics. After reading the posts decided to go with 4.3.5. Started a new game, got Lydia, fought Uthgerd in Bannered Mare, went to the estates. On several play through had vampires kill everyone at Whiterun Stables so thought would set Uthgerd to guard at night. At 10 PM she came out of their house (shack) and went into attack mode. It took me a time to figure out she was defending against the animals, goat, cow, chicken. With console commands... I tried setting her aggression, disposition, setting the animals, nothing seems to help. I have checked all my mods, even tried a couple of player created followers, they all do the same thing. I have read through the posts under Esylum Estates and the posts on here.... no other post of this problem. After little over a week d/l 5.0, started a new game, same problem. I have not gone much past this point...... Have tried to contact jadetheshadow. There is post under the mod that he no longer supports 4.3.5... but the update does the same thing... Why when I place an NPC in guard mode do they try to attack the animals?
  13. @ Hard to Register.... hmmm.... I had messed with Vortex is how I found the save file was not there. I found an older version of Vortex and deleted both versions at the time this transpired. Upon re-loading Vortex it must have straightened out. I had also uninstalled and deleted the armor files in question. I then deleted the Skyrim saved games associated with those files and started a new game. I have also told Vortex to create a save point...... along with my computer. Will pay more attention to the warnings Vortex gives me. Thanks for your patience in this matter.
