  1. For any enterprising modders out there, Markarth once had a College of the Voice, founded by Talos help Nords learn the Way of the Voice as a weapon of war. This could be used to great potential for some sort of faction mod, rebuilding the College of the Voice and perhaps helping students learn how to use the Thu'um. It could be similar to Apprentice of the Thu'um in some ways. What this could include is a dwemer ruin of sorts, once the College, perhaps part of Understone Keep, then rebuilding in into the new College, some custom-voiced NPCs, and a faction. Scaled back by a lot, simply rebuilding it and having "student" NPCs practice would be fun, giving you a sense of accomplishment. This is what I think Skyrim lacked, a sense of "the future seems brighter thanks to my actions".
  2. Every once and a while, we see a castle mod or a new settlement mod. To anyone interested in such a project, I have a suggestion. Skyrim, according to the lore book "The Rear Guard" was supposed to have a castle called "Cascabel Hall" somewhere in Haafingar Hold, perhaps close to Solitude. The castle belongs to the "Count of Cascabel", so, you could have some fun with that, achieving that title. I'm just saying, there is a perfectly good castle in the lore, just waiting for its time to shine.
  3. No, I didn't draw it, but yes, it is quite beautiful. It was some concept art I found of what the towers might have looked like around the time of ESO. There were a few details about the towers, their purpose being to keep out Eastern Nords and their Ebonheart allies from Western Skyrim. You could potentially tie this in with the Skyrim Civil War, Whiterun's fortress against Stormcloak incursion after the Battle of Whiterun, or perhaps captured by the Stormcloaks and used as a forward line of defense, should the Imperial Legion retake Whiterun.
  4. You know what would be cool? This mod. Perhaps even restoring and rebuilding the towers into a really serious player home. http://i.imgur.com/Ed8i0xD.jpgPerhaps something like this, concept art of what the towers might have looked like in the Second Era.
  5. Is this by any way connected to the Maelstrom of Bal? Looks really awesome.
  6. Thanks! I'll check it out. Regarding the Thalmor, I suppose it could have worked, as long as it didn't involve the Second Great War. They might be planning something like that for the next game. Personally, I'm thinking Elsweyr, the Thalmor meddling with the Halls of the Colossus, visiting Jone and Jode, all that good stuff. And of course, Numidium.
  7. Here's a fun idea for a Skyrim mod: Does anybody remember this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VDvgL58h_Y&list=PL3E529A735D626B46 A mod in which the player is followed and attacked by an essential Ginosaji NPC, which simply hits them with a silver spoon, a new weapon by the way, which does more effect than damange. For convenience sake, recall and conjure commands. A stagger effect from power attacks, the biggest problem would probably be the walking animation, though a Draugr walk would probably suffice. In fact, it would probably just be a custom NPC on a Draugr skeleton.
  8. I second this idea, it would be interesting, and probably not too difficult.
  9. Does anyone still remember the rumor of that one last DLC for Skyrim? Everybody assumed that because Redguard was re-trademarked we would be traveling to Stros M'kai. There was also more "evidence", like the special root only found on Stros M'kai, that song about Tiber and the Dragon that was cut, that dragon being mentioned in the Blade' book of still living dragons and having not-really killed that dragon in Redguard. Then there's Dragonstar, the disputed land between the Nords and the Redguards. I assumed, before the official decree from BGS that there would be no DLC, that we would be visiting both locations in a DLC entitled Redguard, or even Dragonstar, and it would involve the struggle for control of Dragonstar and, connecting to some other rumors, the Moot that decides who is High Chieftain of Skyrim. So, as more of a suggestion that a request, this could be an excellent, if difficult undertaking. An ambitious project like The Last Dragon or already DLC-sized released mods like Falskaar or Wyrmstooth. And options and detail are what counts in projects like these. Becoming Jarl of Dragonstar? That would be something. Upon suggestion, marrying the High Chieftain (Elisif or Ulfric), but not becomign High Chieftain yourself. Nafaalilargus could either be another dragon that is sworn to your service upon awakening, or even the villain.
  10. Would someone consider making an armor mod of Pelinal Whitestrake's armor? And no, not the one found in Oblivion. I'm talking about the concept art for the Armor of the Crusader, the one with heavy scale mail and the three-spiked helmet. http://images.uesp.net/2/28/OB-concept-Cr10.jpg The armor could go well with the weapons of Pelinal Whitestrake featured in the Lore Weapon Expansion mod. Perhaps even a patch for the Pelinal follower to wear this armor? A unique helmet, chestplate, boots and gauntlets, with enchantments.
  11. I agree, that coat would be a nice addition to the game.
  12. I really like the design, but is it only two-handed? Could you perhaps make it also one-handed, perhaps swithc between the two like dual spellcasting? Equp right, equip left and both? I don't fancy those clunky two-handed weapons.
  13. Agreed, the Perian Armors are badass, much more than the Greek ones, but I think having some followers at least would make the mod feel bigger. Maybe located on a docked ship somehwere, Artimesia's Armor and the Immortal's Armor is really badass, weapons could also be added like Immortal's Swords and Artemisia's Swords.
  14. Basically, this could just be a mod which adds several armor sets from the movie 300: Rise of An Empire to the game. Spartan Armor, Athenian Armor, Persian Armor, Immortal Armor (the new design, not the old one) and Artemisia's Armor. Could also come with custom weapons. You could also add followers and maybe even a quest in which you could choose between the Athenians and the Persians, maybe located on ships or in shipwrecks. So, followers, armors, weapons and maybe a quest to get these things. I really like the Immortals Armor myself, and Artimesia's Armor has what could be a dragon spine on the back, both armors look really cool.
